When I first collected this elegant Mission-esque Arts& Crafts ... moreEra armchair. It was thought to be by L& JG Stickley. I've since come to believe it's by Harden, from their'Wavy Arm' range. This one has a very nice sculpted. Curvaceous quality to the otherwise generally straight-lined Arts& Crafts style. It's made of the wonderful old quartersawn tiger-oak, nicely sculpted& well-constructed with mortise& tenon joinery, with thru-tenons, slatted back, rich fumed finish and other stylistic and design touches coveted by the Arts& Crafts makers of fine oak furniture of the period. The cushion appears to have been reupholstered. The wood seems in remarkably good shape. Finish has the age-appropriate rubbing& character' of a piece used for over 100 years. But for its age quite excellent to my eye. In fact I prefer antiques to have a bit of a'lived in' quality. Joints seem tight& sound. Measures about 40" high. 27" wide& 23" deep. A well-made. Beautifully designed example of excellent American Arts& Crafts oak. Regarding Shipping: This will likely ship UPS. Ludwig Rocker '84 7Pc maple shell pack in Rocker Red
Here is a chance to get a rare Ludwig kit from the big drum era of the 80's. These tubs were custom ordered and built in 1984 in the USA. I am the second owner. I am a pro who works so these have seen gigs. I love them but I am doing something different and these need to go to a good home. They are the Rocker Series with the traditional lugs(which I've always liked better! Rocker Red cortex over maple shells and Ludcoat interiors. For a kit this old the drums are in good to very good condition. I have a set of Ebony Suede heads on the toms and and an Aquarian kick head in decent shape on the bass. Pic 3 shows a modification I made to use these tubs with a Gibralter rack set up. I added modern Ludwig tom mounts to the 15" and 16" toms. These fit the larger L rods and hold the heavy toms much better. I will include the original ... moremount with the kit. There are 3 original Ludwig double tom mounts and 2 Atlas heavy stands included. These will mount the drums in the original configuration. Pic 4 shows the kit set up as I play it. The cymbals and stands and hardware shown are NOT included. The drums sizes are: 22"x16" bass. 8,10,12,13,15 and 16" toms. It is what it is! TWO Vintage Herman Miller Eames Fiberglass Shell Chairs- GREY Up for auction is two Vintage Herman Miller Side Shell Chairs- Grey in Color; IN FAIR CONDITION These chairs were from an estate. They are scratched. Faded/water marks? have scratches, scuffs and a couple peel marks? They appear to have had sat outside for a period of time but not sure how long. And the edges are worn and has one ding mark on the back side edge(see picture) it doesn't go all the way through the edge it is only one sided. One chair has some spots on the back and bottom of the chair. There are four shock mounts on each chair, but only three screws/bolts per chair so one chair is missing one bolt; the screw/bolts are somewhat rusty as well. One chairs mounts are also missing part of the rubber/glue that holds the mount on if you zoom in on the pictures you can ... moresee it. Please review pictures as they are a part of this description and so you can see more of the condition in your own detail. I haven't seen any cracks or chips, just wear along the edges and scratches on the chairs. There are no labels on the bottoms of these chairs only the embossed markings. I have combined those markings into one picture. The marking with the circled star-like is on the bottom of the one with the spots on it, the one with the circled"S" is on the bottom of the other one. These are good sturdy chairs and with a little TLC can become great chairs once again. This great oak wood baby rocker was made in the early 1940's. It is in excellent condition. Many I have seen are missing the beads or the dowels. This one only shows wear on the bottom piece where the baby's feet would have rested. The original sticker is still on the rocker. Here is a fabulous pair of early to mid-twentieth century French country arm chairs with rush bottom seats. Cabriole legs, carved feet and beautifully carved across the front of the seat as well as the backrest with a shell and flower motif as shown. These two chairs are in very nice condition for their age as represented with multiple pictures. The chairs are both tight and sturdy with strong, tight rush bottom seats that were probably replaced in the latter 20th century. The chairs each stand 38 inches tall to the top of the back and measure 21 1/2 inches wide by 22 inches front to back. The seats are 15 inches in height and are 20 1/2 inches wide by 18 1/2 inches, front to back. I am almost certain the pair I am selling retain the original upholstery and webbing. They are both in great condition. VINTAGE UNUSED MID CENTURY CHROME SWIVEL CHAIR FEET GLIDES TABLE AND FURNITURE Description. Set of twelve handsome vintage chrome chair/furniture feet. The feet have not been used and the chrome is nice with no pitting or rust. They measure one inch tall and the chrome foot is one inch in diameter. The toothed disk that fits into your chair leg to hold the foot on is 11/16. The teeth on the disk will flex some what so the foot will fit a slightly smaller diameter opening on your chair leg if needed. You can also bend the teeth out somewhat if your chair leg diameter is close to 3/4 inches. The foot will not work on a chair leg with a female opening larger than 3/4 inches. Very RARE 1960's Adrian Pearsall model 812-CR Lounge Rocking Chair for Craft Associates. Mid Century/ Danish Modern Rocker! This is your chance to own the most stylish Danish Modern style rocking chair out there! These rarely come up for sale and the last one on ebay was about 4 months ago and ended with a"reserve not met" at $1221. There are a few currently listed in the $2000-4000 range elsewhere. Unfortunately. Our new house doesn't have the space for it! This one is in very good vintage condition and has been reupholstered at some point in the past. The upholstery is in perfect condition with no tears/pulls/stains/smells and I'm pretty sure it's an expensive WOOL fabric. It features a geometric pattern in blue and yellow(the color mix makes it look greenish from a bit further back) The foam is still very soft ... morewhich leads me to believe it was replaced when the chair was reupholstered. There are a few minor scuffs on the walnut base but they're barely noticeable. I don't think they're worth sanding/re-polying. The back measures 31 inches high from the ground. Seat width is 24 inches(28 inches outside of arms total) The depth of the chair is ~33 inches. While the rocker base measures 32 inches deep. The height to the top of the armrests measure 24 inches. HISTORY: Up for auction is ONE vintage all original Charles Eames for Herman Miller DKR-2 bikini wire chair with Eiffel Tower base with second generation glides. The abbreviation of DKR-2 stands for Dining or desk height(K) Wire seat Rod base(2) Two piece pad. This early fabric upholstered wire chair was designed in 1952 as a part of newest contribution of low-cost seating comfort. The Eames office used bent and welded wire mesh as the bases for the furniture designs. The seat as well as the base of this chair are made out of bent and welded wire and is known for its comfort and durability. This chair was an instant hit! From Herman Miller early 1950s"Chairs" poster: The formed wire shell of these chairs is welded into a single. Lightweight unit. The double perimeter wire forms a continuous open truss for added strength. The versions ... moreshown here have two-piece upholstered pads which are easily removable for cleaning. CONDITION REPORT: This chair is excellent for its age and in all original vintage condition. The upholstery is tan color. The button and the loop are all original. All metal parts of the chair are 100% original and showing some pitting and enamel ware consistent for 60+ years old chair. The upholstery interior is very clean with no stains and it has become somewhat lighter on the front due to natural light exposure. Still looks very nice! The back of the upholstery has some pattern where it was touching the metal frame. There is one small seam opening on the edge in the upper right corner that could be easily fixed. Nothing major but we have to mention this for the accuracy of the description. The black enameled plated Eiffel tower rod base has no bends. Re-welds, or any other repairs of any kind. The glides are black rubber and metal, and they slipped over round metal balls on the ends of each leg. I have to set this on the floor and see if the back is still uneven. Cause it sure looks like it is in the photo, but I never noticed it before. I knew this chair was something when my crappy friend Shirley kept trying to get it off of me. Believe it may have been handmade and you can see that it was once painted cause there is a bit of the old milk paint remaining where they were unable to remove it from the coarse ends. Measures 18 inches tall to the top of the back rail, 10 inches tall to the top of the seat and 10 wide at the widest point of the seat. It is 12 inches wide at the to horizontal rail. Very good condition made with hardwood that has been worn down to a beautiful patina. There is one slight hairline in the seat just where the wood has dried out over the years, but the seat is very thick as you can see so is not going anywhere ... morefast. Rare Vintage Mid-Century Modern HARVEY PROBBER Aluminum Club Lounge Chair NR!
For your consideration is a Beautiful Vintage Harvey Probber Flat Bar Aluminum Club Chair! It is exactly as shown. Likely with original upholstery as you can see, and stunning style to it! It has no tags indicating maker, but does have a Union Made label on the very bottom that I will add a picture of shortly, proving it to be a 1950's piece. Upholstery is overall nice and clean, with no rips or tears, but does have some wear, particularly on the arms. The aluminum could benefit from a polishing to get it back to it's mirror finish, but isn't gouged up or damaged beyond normal surface scratches and signs of wear throughout the decades.
