It is marked on the front and I believe it to say West Troy Pottery. It measures 7.5 tall and 8 inches across the top. It has a couple of OLD chips on the front and a couple of very small flea bites on one ear. There is also a tight crack on one side. There are lots pf pictures. None of this distracts from the appearance. This stoneware crock is not in mint condition so if you are wanting mint please don't bid. This is an old utilitarian piece and used as such. All sales are final. Insurance is included in my shipping charge. If it seems high. Please don't bid. I have this packed professionally and shipped ups so it gets there in one piece. Ask questions before you bid as I do not accept returns. Thanks ... morefor looking and good luck. Posted with.RcmdId ViewItemDescV4,RlogId p4%60bo7%60jtb9%3Fv%7F.rpn36%3E-13ced24df8f-0x103-
Brown with Cobalt Blue Bird Salt Glazed Stoneware Honey Jar Honey Crock
Salt Glazed Pottery Jar/Crock/Cup This is such a cute miniature like piece. I did the best I could to research it but there was nothing to go by. It does remind me of a Rowe Pottery piece? There are no markings on this item. I believe it is salt glazed and features a cobalt blue bird. I took several pics of the front of this as it was hard to get a good picture. My guess would be that it was an egg cup or a honey jar/honey crock. It is in near mint shape. 3cm tall with a 4cm diameter* weighs 35g* Please message via ebay questions about item/shipping PRIOR to bidding*

Antique Vintage Salt Glaze Brown Crock Jar 1 1/2 QT Wax Seal
Up for bid is a antique brown crock salt glaze jar used for vegetables or fruit. The lid was sealed to the jar with wax. Such jars date back to the 1200's however this one is probably from the 1800's. This jar is 1 1/2 qt. capacity. Stands 7" tall and is 3 1/2" across. You couldn't ask for a nicer piece for it's age as it has one small chip and wear along the rim and another chip on the side, each about 1/5" and some glaze is missing at the bottom, appears to be a manufacturing flaw. Otherwise there are no other cracks or other chips. This would be a great addition to a collection. Please take a minute and look at my other listings which are varied and different. I will combine postage I have considerable inventory I need to consolidate and doesn't help that I keep adding to it. I particularly like the 1940's ... moreand 1950's but do list other items so check back. If you find something you like remember I will combine postage. I do send parcel post in an attempt to keep shipping cost down but if you want another type of shipping let me know.

Old Antique Primitive Canning Crock Jar Stoneware Salt Glaze Crazing
HELLO and thanks for looking at our auction! Today we have an old antique crock that we think may have been a canning crock many years ago. It looks like a date on the bottom but we can't quite make it out but we have taken pictures of it. It has lots of flaws and chips around the top and lots of staining and crazing. There is also a hairline crack in the top and we have tried to show it in the pictures. This old crock measures 6 1/2" tall and 5 1/2" across the bottom and 4 1/4" across the top. The rim is 1/2" thick around the top and it is very heavy. It weighs 3 1/2 pounds. It is missing the bale but the holes for the bale are still intact. It is also missing the lid. This old Crock is still very pretty even with all the chips. Stains and flaws. It has lots of crazing all over the outside and inside, and would look ... moregood with the old primitives collection. ANTIQUE 19THC ENGLISH STONEWARE LUSTRE GLAZED STONEWARE POTTERY CROCK JAR JUG
WHAT A CROCK OF. Gooseberry Preserves. Lemon Curd, or perhaps Clotted Cream, Dear Collectors, this is a genuine 19th c antique English lustre glazed Preserve Stoneware Crock Jar peculiar to those made across the big pond for food preservation of yesteryear in the British Isles. Every respectable farmstead would sport several in the kitchen and buttery/pantry for daily use and storage of preserved foodstuffs well before the days of modern refrigeration made these charming sturdy stoneware vessels outmoded and relegated to collector status. Quite similar to American Albany slip brown glaze. The exterior of crock is covered lavishly in pearl brown lustre wash glaze giving it a soft lustre reflective pearl shine with life that dances off the surface at all angles. It features twin lug handles at upper side to aid gripping crock during cooking ... morewith a decorative stamped incised single beaded ring running around the upper middle kissing lower handle extensions. It has a most gentle chamfered base bevel, then the bottom is simply unglazed stoneware clay patina. A thick well formed rim likely once had a lid no longer present, but no matter, clean sage gray green glazed interior is happy to hold your wooden spoons and kitchen utensils in period style. Overall it has a tall, slight flared upright shape like a fine pail with great dignity and usefulness to industrious housekeeper.remember Mrs. Bridges from Upstairs, Downstairs? Hudson would approve and no doubt Downton Abbey has a few on display as well. It stands 6.25" tall and 5.75" across open top. I would guestimate, holds about a quart liquid capacity overall. It is in sound fine condition with no damage, no chips, no hairlines. nothing beyond the the usual firing scratch in the making or tiny rough clay blob on rim glazed over. I know this is English having travelled to the UK buying fields myself seeing these on offer occasionally, and this lovely example was deacessioned last week from a retired English Dealer in Gettysburg, PA who purchased it

T.F. REPPERT Greensboro PA Antique Stoneware Crock Jar Grey Blue 2 Gallon Plow
T.F. Reppert antique stoneware crock from Greensboro PA. Sadly this one is broken. It was shipped to my father and didn't survive the trip. He is thinning out his collection beginning with the broken ones. This was broken into pieces and glue repaired. I'm sure a professional repair job could be possible. But this feels pretty sturdy as is. It would not hold water but still displays well. It's a beautiful piece of history that can't be replaced and shouldn't just be thrown away because it's broken. So, in it's AS IS state, with this low starting price I would say this would be a great piece to bulk up a growing or new collection, or for shelf display. Low starting price for a piece that would be worth over $200 in mint condition. This is a 2 gallon crock that measures 7.25" across the top, 12" tall, and ... more7.5" across the bottom. It has a blue band at the top and at the bottom. One squiggly line near top. It says T F Reppert, Greensboro PA, features a plow design in the center and has a number 2 with arrows on each side. I've tried to photograph this in as much detail as possible, so please see pics for exact condition. I will bubble wrap, double box, paper shred or peanut this to make it as safe for shipping as possible. Please ask any questions before bidding, Thank you for looking! WISCONSIN PORCELAIN AMERICAN ART POTTERY MOTTLED BEIGE & GOLD CROCK-JAR & LID A+
Up for auction is a Scarce and Marked. Wisconsin Porcelain Company of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin(1919 to Present) 100% True Heavy Porcelain, American Art Pottery, Crock-Jar and Lid with a Brown Speckled and Mottled Gloss Beige Glaze Application along with Gold Trim in"Near-Mint" Used Condition, Circa 1930s to 1970s(or Possibly Later) which was Manufactured for an Unknown Purpose or Client at the time of this listing. This superb heavy porcelain crock-jar has no chips. Cracks, glaze crazing, scratches, scuffs, stains, repairs or factory flaws of any kind. I've graded its condition as being"Near-Mint" because when you look at the gold trim which was only applied to the lid you will see some tiny specks where some of the gold is either thin or worn away. You can see this close up by using the"Super Size" and"Zoom" ... morefeatures I've provided and you'll also see the worn gold isn't that noticeable. It really doesnt' hurt the aesthetic value of this fine crock, but it must be pointed out for accuracy sake. This jar measures about 3 3/8 inches tall with the lid on and without the lid it measures about 3 inches tall. Across the top it measures about 3 3/4 inches in diameter and the inside top opening is about 3 3/8 inches in diameter. The very bottom was left dry without glaze and it's sightly recessed which leaves a 1/2 inch wide ring base for the piece to rest on. The lid for this jar actually hangs over the top ridge so it measures about 4 7/8 inches in diameter and it's about 1 1/8 inches thick. The mark on the bottom is in-mold and it reads"Wisconsin Porcelain Co. within a recessed circle. This crock-jar was made from a true porcelain and it's a heavy porcelain piece weighing just over 2 pounds at exactly 2 pounds. 1.1 ounces. When you weigh the bottom jar section by itself it weighs 1 pound, 4.7 ounces and the lid by itself weighs 12.4 ounces. This piece features an outstanding beige colored glaze which is speckled and a bit mottled to offset the

Antique primitive Vintage Dark Brown Crock Jar Wax Seal?
Antique dark brown crock jar used for vegetables or fruit. The lid was sealed to the jar with wax i believe. Such jars date back to the 1200's however this one is probably from the late 1800's- to the early 1900s. It is in very good condition considering it's age. The inside rim is rough and has small chips. As you can see in the picture. There is some discoloration at the bottom, appears to be a manufacturing flaw. Otherwise there are no other cracks, other chips and the glaze is in good condition. This would be a great addition to a collection. Pictures are part of description also. I will combine postage I have considerable inventory I need to consolidate and doesn't help that I keep adding to it. If you find something you like remember I will combine postage.
Rare Museum Quality + Daniel Seagle Lincoln County 1830s NC Pottery Jar Crock
For your consideration and probably a once in a lifetime opportunity to own a museum quality plus example of Daniel Seagle pottery. Daniel Seagle(1805-1867) of Lincoln County. North Carolina had the first recorded pottery operating in Catawba Valley. Seagle made utilitarian wares for the local farming families.jars.churns.jugs and pitchers to the quality of being called the best ever produced in NC history. North Carolina was enriched by Daniel teaching family members and journey men his style and quality of throwing pots. The pictures tell the story of this beautiful little one gallon jar.flawless. The storage jar is 8 3/4" tall.about 21" around the middle of the ovoid body.5" diameter on the base and 5" at the rolled rim with a rich dark green runny alkaline glaze. It has a very strong"DS" stamp on one ear ... moreand"1" on the other. You don't see many signed pieces up for sell but when you do you will see large pots and seldom a small meat jar like this from around 1830. The danielseagle.com site has used a picture of this jar for about 5 years now. I bought it out of a Portsmouth, VA home and it had been in the family, the lady's whole life. Check the pictures very good and bid if you want one of the best Daniel Seagle pieces of pottery/stoneware that will ever be offered.
