The vintage is unknown but I would guess early 1900s. Hopefully, interested collectors will know the vintage better than I do. The condition is good with some flaws. There is a tight split in the lid. One piece of inlay is missing, the"keeper" on the writing surface is missing, and the ribbon to open the bottom writing surface is missing. Please refer to the photos for a complete description of condition. The camera captures the felt as blue, but my eyes tell me it is a purple color. I would guess both beds and box springs were made around the same time- circa 1875. The box springs carry a patent date of 1872. Beds could possibly be a bit earlier. This pair of beds has been in family use for over 30 years. Each bed is about 80" long and 40" wide. Headboard height to top of finial is 44. End of bed height to top of finial is 40. These beds were professionally refinished in the 1970s and have a warm honey patina. Condition is as shown. While we only put one bed together, both are in very good, ready-for-bed condition. Box springs are also in very good condition and quite strong- many a kid has bounced up and down without a problem. We have owned these for a long time and watched our kids sleep ... morein them, eat on them, and play on them as well. Antique French Victorian Iron single bed LOOK
This is a super antique Iron bed. Probably from France. I would say it dates to the 1890's. It appears to be a single bed. This is one of the best Iron beds that I have seen. It is very heavy and needs two people to lift and move it. Very sturdy and solid. It easily folds up flat and easily sets up. It was sand blasted about two years ago and has been sitting in my garage. There is some light surface rust as can be seen in the photos, but easily comes off in preparation for paint. This can be spray painted with rustoleum in about 5 minutes. I will leave the color up to the lucky purchaser. Or it can be powder coated for a super finish. Its ready to go. It must be picked up here in Riverhead Long Island or I can deliver it anywhere on Long Island only. It weighs somewhere over a 100 pounds.

Antique Mahogany Queen bed with inlaid woodwork of walnut
it is the late 1800's antique bed- headboard. Foot board, side boards. We believe it is made of mahogany with inlaid woodwork of walnut? Not 100% sure however it is quite heavy. Not in perfect condition, we would say fair condition or has been loved: it is an odd size apparently. Side boards are 77inches in length. Seems to be an UK/Ireland queen? Height of the headboard is 63 inches. Width of both headboard and footboard is 70 1/2 inches. It also features brass"socks" on the bottom of the footboard- you can see it in the pics:

Antique 17th century French 5 piece bedroom set
This bedroom set was purchased by my parents over 20 years ago from one of the leading antique stores in southern California for close to 20.000.00. At various points in its history, before being purchased by my family, restorations were completed. Not all hinges match(one hinge broke which is why one door off the armoire is presently removed) The bed was modified to fit a queen size mattress. There are some dings however it is in incredible condition for its age! It is a truly impressive set. With the right bedding it can match any style even contemporary given the black marble. Hale & Kilburn telescope bed 1890-1910
This is a telescope bed-NOT a Murphy bed. Made by Hale& Kilburn between 1890-1910. It is solid wood. The mirror in the last photo attaches to the top so that when the bed is closed it looks like a small chest. The top is a little scuffed up but I think it could easily be buffed or refinished. There is no mattress but the metal part of the bed is all there. These beds are EXTREMELY RARE. I paid $1100 for the bed but I don't have a place for it any more. The headboard stands 70" high at the back center. It is 65" wide at the widest point. The footboard measures 38" in height at the center. The carved bird motif on the headboard matches the motif on the footboard. There are cracks on the side but they do not affect the integrity of the piece.This also has the same matching cross diamond pattern on the sides and front as seen on the head and foot boards of the bed. The finish is a very dark rich walnut which appears to be original and is in great condition. The headboard is 6'2" h x 5'1" w. Foot board is 3'2 1/2" tall. Takes a full double mattress. There is a large carved cartouche at the top of the multi curved headboard with a large applied panel with walnut burl veneer. All this surmounting racetrack shaped molding flanking a circular molding. Footboard has same racetrack molding but has an elaborate carved element in the top of the curved footboard. This exceptional antique furniture piece has been handed down through the seller’s family and is not a reproduction. Originally owned by great grandparents who lived in a log cabin. This bed was inherited by the seller’s family who remember its use in a bedroom of the cabin prior to 65 years ago although no one in the family knows the date it was originally acquired. It features the original beveled mirror, elegant heart-shaped overlays, and has not been refinished(a collector's plus! Folding beds were advertised in Montgomery Ward catalogues prior to 1900. The cabinet measures 78” tall. 58” wide and 27” deep when closed, 80” deep when open. It has a removable mesh/spring support for a mattress(mattress not included) mattress opening measures 50” x 74” A sofa mattress 48” x 72” may be a good choice to allow room for linens. This is a ... morewell made and sturdy free-standing piece that moves easily on its metal casters; it does not need attachment to a wall because of its counterweights explained below. Included are 10 removable original cast iron counterweights on the back that allow the bed to raise and lower almost effortlessly with a slide mechanism. As the front of the bed is lowered to the floor. The counterweights allow the bottom portion of the headboard to butt to the upper section resulting in a 72” high headboard. The weights(12 lbs 10.8 oz. each) are easily accessible and lift out to allow less weight and ease of movement to a new location. The metal decorative plates on each sideboard with the name“Victoria Bed” swivel to become the supporting legs of the footboard end of the bed. This is a very sturdy piece of furniture with ease of operation although there are a few things to note. The solid oak cabinet has no cracks and has not been stripped or refinished. Rare L. C & W. L. Cron Tiger Quartered Oak & Curly Flame Birch Beveled Mirror
I have found similar bedroom suites in Cron's 1898 catalog but I think this set might be a little older than those. The ones I found are listed as"Quartersawn Oak and(very rare) Curly Birch Bed Room Suites" This is the mirror off of the"pattern mirror dresser" and is"Mahoganized" according to their catalog which gives it the spectacular reddish brown color. The carving is very deep. High relief motifs of scrolls, feathers and plumes. This would have set on an ornate mirror frame that attaches to the dresser. The paper tag shown is off of the matching"Mirror Dresser" Which was sold with this bedstead as a set. I am certain they are a match as I also have the bedstead with the same motifs, and these ornaments are also carried through on the drawer pulls for this dresser. The sets that are similar ... moreto this one are on the first pages of the catalog, so I am assuming that these were the very best that the Cron Company would have to offer. They are also curly birch and are mahoganized. This mirror measures 32 inches wide by 29 inches tall. The L. C& W. L. Cron Company"Manufacturers of Bed Room Suites" was located in Piqua. Victorian 1850's Walnut Bed Frame and Dressers
All this bed set came from a certified antique dealer in Vermont. As a couple we have never used it for anything more than decor. The bed is full size. But can accomodate many queen sized mattress and box spring sets so long as they are not oversized. The wood is in remarkable condition and nearly unblemished for it's size. This includes the bed and two dresser pieces with a large full length mirror dating back to the 1850's. The smaller dresser contains a marble top in perfect original condition. The marble top is available on the dresser with the mirror as well, however, there is a crack down the middle. The crack is repaired but still visible. If the marble is replaced or repaired by the buyer, the value of this set would increase exponentially. This is a beautiful bed set and we hate to part ways. It will hold a full mattress with only a little overhang. In Excellent condition except for one small piece of wood missing on the footboard(bottom right see 5th picture) Usual wear for one this age. But no deep cuts, gouges, etc. It has original side rails which have a little curve to them. It is all original wood and I was told years ago it is solid walnut with a cherry stain. It had the original feather mattress, but I wasn't aware of just how valuable they are, and I just threw it away,about 10 years ago) because it was so dusty. Antique late 1800's wooden daybed, brass fixtures, fifth generational heirloom
Sturdy. Hardwood daybed, been in the family since late 1890's. Seen heavy use, as babies in every generation since my great grandfather himself was weened in it. All original pieces, never refinished, original patina. Even original spring set for underbed(requires slats across the bottom to hold it up) Brass connectors make for an easy fit and easy assembly(5-10 minutes tops, slats excluded) Have no more room for it, sadly, and family's newer generations want newer bed models, so off it goes. Late 1800's Brass Twin Half Size Bed No Reserve Antique Patina Finish
You are bidding on a lovely brass antique twin bed that dates from about the late 1800's. It has the old cast iron drop-in rails. Someone lacquered and polished it several years ago but overall it still looks good. Dimensions: headboard 42 tall x 36 inches wide. Footboard 34 tall x 36 inches wide, from headboard to footboard with rails connected is 76 3/4 inches in length and 35 3/8 wide. No dents or anything to speak of as far as condition, good example of 100+ years old bed. Metal wheels are app. 2 1/2 inches in height and can be removed if you like. It is extrodinary in looks and top quality. The screen measures at the highest point. Which is the middle screen, 5 foot high and 2 foot wide, with each side panel 18" wide and slightly lower angling to the ends. You have to remember that back in the 1800s, ladies were not six foot tall. This screen is original and folds up nicely, but still is very heavy. The glass is bevelled and thick. The fabric is of a silk texture, and might be silk, with soft pagoda scene of pale French blue and soft pink or rose.
