I am only giving it up as I have inherited a family bedroom suite and need the room. Beautiful brass ornate pulls(all there) Glass tops are on dresser and nite stands as well as vanity all there. Dresser is 50 inches wide and has mirror 46 inches wide small thin piece of trim on front of dresser is missing but is easily replaced Armoire is 37 inches wide and 79 inches tall the original key is still with it The armoire door is not latching but would be easy to fix. I show a picture of the inside of the armoire, there is a rod inside of armoire with a small drawer. The vanity is 42 inches wide with matching ornate mirror and drawer. The 2 nightstands both have a door that opens for storage they are 22" wide. The bed head board is adorned with flowers has a small area of paint missing. Bed is 67 inches across and 58 inches tall. It would easily accommodate a 3/4 full or queen mattress. There is not a footboard or side rails it was not made for them. The mattress set pictured is a queen select comfort but is not included with the set Let me know if you have questions or need more pictures so that you can see the conditon of this set. Being offered for sale is this splendid Eastlake Victorian Solid Walnut 3 piece Bedroom Set with Carved Shells circa 1880. This lovely 19th century bedroom set features gorgeous incised carvings of potted flowers.Incised carvings of geometric designs and beautiful applied carvings of scrolls and shells on the head-board and foot-board. The Bed: The bed measures 62 1/2 inches in height at the head-board.39 1/2 inches in height to the top of the foot-board, with the outside with of the bed being 61 3/4 inches and outside length measuring 81 inches and this bed weighs approximately 200 lbs total. The inside mattress area measures 57 1/2 inches wide by 74 3/4 inches long and should fit a full size mattress set nicely, but one should always measure their own mattress set to assure proper fit. The height from the floor to the top of the sides rails ... moreat the enter measures 14 3/4 inches.The bed sets up solid and tight and very sturdy. The right side of the foot-board does have a slight age shrinkage crack about 6 inches long near the bottom right side.nothing major but worth mentioning. We believe this dresser to have its original wide beveled mirror, original brass pulls and the original beveled edge chocolate marble. The bed measures 5' 9 1/2 inches high at the head-board. 34 inches high at the foot-board, with an outside width of 61 inches and outside length of 76 inches. The inside mattress area measures 54 1/2 inches wide by 76 inches long and should accommodate a full size mattress set nicely, but one should always measure their mattress set to assure proper fit. Antique 3 piece bedroom suite of cottage furniture in my family for over 100 yrs
This is a 3 piece bedroom suite of cottage style with German influence design in hand paintings. Don't know the medium used. It went to Pearl City, Il. from parts east in early to mid 1800s. My Dad was born on the bed in 1898 and my sister in 1932. All 3 pieces have been in constant use since its beginning and still is. The time has come for me to let someone else add to it's history. See all pictures as they show what I am going to print. The dresser is 40" wide, and 76 1/2" high including casters(porcelain& iron) and glove box and mirror. Mirror and glove box are held onto top with wooden pegs going thru holes in marble. Wooden spirals hold mirror in frame, one knob on one spiral is missing part of it, many years ago, break is completely oxidized. Mirror needs resilvering or replaced. I have no key for the locking ... moremechanisms in the drawers. The marble on dresser and wash stand has some scratches and a couple of pits in wash stand stop, no breaks; back edge is rough but not broken. Drawers are dove tailed. One drawer pull recently broke in half and I have repaired it. The wash stand is 32" wide and 30 3/4" high and 18 1/4" deep. Back splash has been missing for at least 80 years. Cupboard is divided into 3 compartments, there is one drawer. The bed accommdates a full size mattress. Scuff marks, scratches and wear marks on on side boards and bottom of legs, general wear overall. The wooden slats are not all original. I offer local pick up only. Stunning Antique 4 Piece French Walnut Bedroom Suite Set - 1880s w/ mattress
This beautiful French walnut bedroom suite is circa 1880 and is in excellent antique condition. The quality and beauty of this set is remarkable. Although it is over 130 years old. I see no problems. When we purchased this set about 15 years ago. I totally cleaned the entire set using mineral spirits to remove dirt and old waxes and polishes. I then applied a total of five coats of tung oil to each piece. Tung oil gives an ideal, long-lasting finish to wood. French beds take a slightly different size mattress. So we are including the mattress and box spring with the set. Full-size bedding fits fine. We moved to a different house and have no room in our guest room for these pieces. Antique Victorian Walnut Highly Carved Bedroom Suite Bed/Dresser/Night Stand
An exquisite antique bedroom suite all original dating to the mid to late 1800's. This is a 3 piece set made from walnut. Burl walnut and veneer and accented with marble and original hardware that comes with the following pieces. Bed: The stunning bed is sure to be a focal point in the room. The headboard stands 70" high at the back center. It is 65" wide at the widest point. The footboard measures 38" in height at the center. The carved bird motif on the headboard matches the motif on the footboard. The upper edges of the headboard are done in an elaborate acanthus leaf pattern and a matching pattern surrounds the birds in the center. The details on the birds is incredible with finely details individual feathers. There are losses to the veneer on this and there is also a section of wood missing on the carved back area. ... moreThe footboard has a metal strip on the back of it holding the two boards together and there is a paper coating it that has losses. There are age and use appropriate dings and scratches to the frame that one would expect to find on an item of this age. Dresser: The dresser has a beautiful black and gold and white veined marble top. This is one solid sheet of marble. There are some light scratches on the marble but there are no cracks in this piece. The dresser stands 37" high to the top of the marble slab. It is 36.25" wide and at the widest depth it is 21.5" It stands 74" high to the top of the mirror at the center. There are some light losses to the carving and scratches from use on this as well. There are cracks on the side but they do not affect the integrity of the piece.This also has the same matching cross diamond pattern on the sides and front as seen on the head and foot boards of the bed. Note the outstanding intricate hand carved wood working and gold leaf hand painting in each of the pieces. Particularly the burl walnut. BEDROOM SUITE (BEAUTIFUL 1800'S COMPLETE BEDROOM SUITE)
For that discriminating home decorator who has everything but a beautiful Victorian Bedroom Suite! This set would be wonderful in a son or daughter's room and includes a beautiful large dresser and mirror. A second smaller, more petite dresser and mirror and finally a full size bed with mattress and box springs and a special memory foam topper, which for me makes this set over the top comfortable. This bedroom suite was made"sometime" in the 1800's, extremely difficult to pin down the exact date. My good friend says the wood used in this furniture has a particularly pleasing warm golden brown tone, unlike today's imitation wood furniture. This is without question the real stuff, and the good thing is, this furniture will last another five generations. Finally, one of the really remarkable advantages of this group has ... moreto be the"extreme" heavy marble tops. For me, marble is one of the best dresser tops possible, literally"everything" proof, yes they are heavy, but easily removed, and they slide right back into place. Unlike the cheap imitations of today, this is almost one inch thick marble, the real stuff! I am including lots of pictures where you can see just how inviting this bedroom suite is, hope you like it as much as I have. Please note, in some of my pictures, the Sun was so extremely bright, it makes the pieces look much lighter, they are not light" they are very rich and dark, and you can see that on most of the pictures, just a quick heads up on that. This takes a seriously bed room to set it up. This is the complete all original matched 1870's American masterpiece. The dresser is 47 1/2" long. 21 3/4" wide ... moreand 81" tall with a 30" high work surface. It has carved caddlestand cups supported by brass embellishment with best engraved brasses. The dresser's case is nicely pencil noted that the brasses are indeed nickle. If this is correct they are brass plated nickle and that's very special again.
