Victorian 1850's Walnut Bed Frame and Dressers
All this bed set came from a certified antique dealer in Vermont. As a couple we have never used it for anything more than decor. The bed is full size. But can accomodate many queen sized mattress and box spring sets so long as they are not oversized. The wood is in remarkable condition and nearly unblemished for it's size. This includes the bed and two dresser pieces with a large full length mirror dating back to the 1850's. The smaller dresser contains a marble top in perfect original condition. The marble top is available on the dresser with the mirror as well, however, there is a crack down the middle. The crack is repaired but still visible. If the marble is replaced or repaired by the buyer, the value of this set would increase exponentially. This is a beautiful bed set and we hate to part ways. Passed down to me from my grandparents but we know longer have room for it in our home. Dresser- 42 high by 40 wide- this is an old dresser with a lot of history- it has spent only 19 of those years with me so I don't know all the history. I refinished only the top of the dresser- shortly after that. There was some sort of spill that left approx. a one inch diameter spot which I have not fixed. Antique Hand-Turned Shaker Bed Frame
Here's what I know about this bed: It's been in my family for generations. And I just don't have a use for it. I believe the size was called 3/4; smaller than a queen, but not a full, although a full mattress works on it. My mom slept on it for decades- I remember my brothers and I sleeping on it together as little kids. I recall my mom calling it a Shaker bed. It likely comes from Massachusetts, but could also be from upstate New York. All the connections are wood- I don't believe there is any metal on this bed whatsoever. This early 1800's child's bed is from a Bellevue Estate I bought it at the Auction. Antique Spoon-carved Three-quarter Bed Frame
This rare and beautiful Eastlake-style bed frame is in excellent condition. With one minor exception(see below) and very solid. It was built sometime between the mid-to-late nineteenth century. The frame appears to be hand-built of Maple with Burled Walnut appliques on the headboard. The design work, primarily carved into the wood, is primitive, however some of the appliques on the headboard reflect an early Prairie Style…but long before Frank Lloyd Wright. It has been in my family for 48 years and in my ex-wife’s family for four generations. There is a repair(not visible in the assembled bed) that was done before my time. A decorative piece on the end of a side rail at the foot of the bed shows signs of being re-glued(see photo) and a replacement corner brace was added. The inset photo shows the original corner brace on the other side. This ... morethree-quarter frame will likely need a custom mattress and spring. Because there are corner braces the interior dimensions of the frame, primarily affecting a spring, is 50 inches wide by 72 inches long. The mattress can be two inches wider. French 1800s Louis XV Rococo style carved walnut bed frame

Geometric veneer, and boldly carved crest represent the French Rococo style associated with Louis XV in the mid-1700s. The rails attach to the boards by way of long bolts inset into the ends of the rails. Antique Eastlake Bed This is an Eastlake style antique bed. It is a beautiful and ornate set with a high-back headboard. This is definitely a"statement" piece. We believe it is composed of walnut with a medium-tone finish. Included in this set are a headboard. Footboard, side rails and slats. There is a lace dust ruffle stapled to the back of the footboard. This could be removed easily if the buyer so chooses. This set was made to hold a full extra-long size mattress. It is 56 7/8" wide. The highest point on the headboard is 83 1/4" The footboard is 31" in height. The bottom of the mattress would sit approximately 10" off of the ground(when placed on top of the slats) This is in great. Antique condition overall with some general signs of age and use. It appears as though the side rails were replaced at some point, ... morebecause they are held together with phillips head screws. The rails do, however, match rather perfectly. The top crown of the headboard was cracked and repaired by the previous owner. I also see a crack in the middle of the headboard, which I have shown in pictures. The presence of the cracks does not make the headboard any less structurally sound. The head and footboard posts each appear to be missing finials. I also noticed a water stain on the corner of the footboard, which I have also shown in pictures. There are minor imperfections, such as scratches or spots of wear, which I believe should be expected on a piece of this age. Please see pictures for more details, and please ask questions if you have them. This bed set matches an Eastlake dresser that we are also listing. Over 145,000 pioneers came across the Oregon trail to Portland, OR from 1844 to 1906 with their belongings across the country. This item did not have such a rough trip as it made it to Portland via sailing ship to Astoria then by paddlewheel to Portland. It was purchased for $1,250 in the 1980's from the Antique shop(listed on the bed sticker) that specialized in European Antiques and it was identified as being from France, circa 1825. Bought some of that fancy chalk paint for 38.50 a quart& it took 2 quarts& then I lightly brushed on the pink to show off& make the embellishments pop. The embellishments are all original. The rails are even a little curvy at the ends& they too are painted& original. I see these sell for1,300 to 2,400 at the antique malls I am simply asking 275.00! It would be hard to find even a reproduction antique bed for that price. We have a extra full size mattress for it if you want it but no box springs. Cast iron childs bed frame very old and creepy
Hi I am selling this old creepy looking iron childs bed frame I think it would make a good horrer film/performance prop or would be a suitable restoration project. It did have ceramic castors but due to age these are broken or missing but as u cant see it still has the brass features on the head board and foot board and has the jigsaw type brackets which means there is no need for bolts. Also as you can see there is a broken strap.
