Antique English Oak Bedroom Set Armoire Wardrobe Dresser Barley Twist Headboard
You are bidding on a BEAUTIFUL Antique English OakBedroom Set/ Suite/ Ensemble. I am not an antique expert or dealer.But I was told when I purchased these pieces that they are all Victorian Style English Oak(medium) manufactured in England in the late 1800's. All pieces were purchased separately. But they"match" amazingly well. There are three items in this set: Dresser- Measures 36"W x 19"D x 38.5"H. With 4 drawers of increasing size from top to bottom. Head Board and Foot Board w/ rails modified to fit a Queen Size bed- Both pieces are 54" Wide and 1.75" Deep on corner posts. Thinner across the back. The headboard is 53.25" High and the footboard is 27.25" High. Both have a diamond design in the center panel, and 1.5" slats out to the sides, with Barley Twist on the ends of the headboard ... moreonly. There is a small screw(hardly noticeable) at the very bottom of the left footboard foot, where it had once had a small crack, bus now fixed and solid. As they did not have Queen beds back 1800's, the rails have been modified to fit a Queen bed, so the mattress hangs about 2-3" off either side of the bed- this is very common for people who have an antique head and foot board, and is not noticeable once the bed is made up. Armoire/ Wardrobe- Measures 47"W(plus 2.5" on each side for the crown) x 18.5"D x 80"H. This is a beautiful piece. And VERY functional. Has a hanger bar across the interior along with 5 hooks for miscellaneous items. Also has a large drawer underneath for storage. The design is shown in the close-up(photo 2) and there is a beveled glass mirror on the door. The wardrobe actually comes in three pieces that sit on each other- base, main cabin, crown- so it is easier to move than it looks! The 3 1/2 inch diameter pegged rails screw& counter screw into the headboard and foot board. Overall dimensions are 75" long, 51" wide, and 6' tall. The posts are 3" by 3" which make the inside dimensions approximately 69" by 45" The headboard hangs in place by hooks and eye screws, and seats into notches on the headboard cross bar. The bed is very solid and stable when assembled, weighing about 127 pounds. Both rails have an age crack running part way along the rail as shown in the photos. One rail is missing three pegs. I have one missing peg loose, that can be used as a template to make the other two pegs. Back when our kids were babes in arms(now they’re in their 30’s) This was where we put them to sleep… a solid-walnut and veneer rocking crib that had been in my wife’s family since before the first World War. The detailing is wonderful. With a sweet inlaid picture of two doves cooing on the headboard. The old crib comes with a modern foam rubber mattress that is easy to clean. At the foot. There’s a lever and string device that allows two latches to engage, stopping all rocking action. This kind of crib was the height of safety when made. Up for bid is a beautiful very old iron bed that we have had in a guest room for about 25 or 30 years. Don't think it has been slept on more than a dozen times. The mattress is much newer. It has head and food board. Drop in locking rails with ledges for slats; slats are included as well The mattress is a super firm mattress, but from just being stored has a frayed section on one side. Iron on materials could cover this and then a mattress cover would protect it more. Other than that, it is in excellent extra- firm condition. No stains. Antique Highback Eastlake Twin Headboard & Footboard Bed Sets
You are bidding a beautiful pair of Antique Highback'Eastlake' beds. These beds were being used as a King Size Bed but they are really two twin beds. They are in good condition based on there age. They measure approximately 79" High x 35" Wide x 4" Deep. Each bed has two heavy duty wood side rails and 4 wood cross slats. I have taken several pictures of each bed. Antique Carved Wood Twin Headboard Pair
Set of 2 carved.Twin size mahogany headboards. Had taken photos to Bonham& Butterfield's in San Francisco and was told these would have been made in the late 1800's-up to 1910, here in the United States, of Mahogany. Both hand carved and machine tooled. They have a dark, rich brown stain. Considering their age, they are in very good condition. The round peg dowels which connect the main body to the side posts are loose and one is missing. There were additional pieces of wood bolted to the lower legs: i believe for attaching to a wall previously. I was given these 15 years ago and have had them stored in my basement workroom:which is dry and ventilated,so they have not endured overly hot and dry,nor damp conditions. Both have various nicks and scratches due to normal wear and tear throughout the years; but would be hardly noticeable ... morewith a good polishing. antique oak headboard set 6ft Double
I do not know the style of the headboard set but I do know that it belonged to my great grandmother and I am 41 years old. So I was told it is probably late 1800's? The Headboard is 6 foot high and solid wood. It has the footboard and side slats. You will probably have to cut your own wood to put across to hold up the mattress. It is a full which is larger than a singe but not quite a queen. Pick up only! The only damage is a little scratching on the bottom of the headboard that you can not see when the mattress is in place.

ANTIQUE FRENCH EMPIRE ART DECO ARMOIRE & HEADBOARD
Three Cherubs Armoir and Headboard. These were purchased in Canada more than 20 years ago and have been in my possession since. The Armoir is large. 90 inches tall 65 inches wide and 21 inches deep. The armoir has a couple of shelves, one with a drawer. although the shelves are not the best fit. The Armoir comes apart into pieces making easy to move. The matching Three cherub head board is 60 inches wide. And stands 55 inches high. These are not in perfect condition. There is some checking of the veneer, although you would expect this from furniture manufactured probably in the 1920's or 30's. Ask any questions. I am not a dealer, just downsizing.

Antique rope bed in very very nice shape except for missing spindle in headboard
This was my mothers and looks like it was redone somewhere along the line. It has a high gloss clear over it all over. The spindle was broken by a nephew of mine years ago and I thought it was still around somewhere but I haven't found it. Another could be made by a woodworker with a wood lath. But that is up to you. It looks like the spindles were all handmade as none are completely identical. It also has a twin mattress and a feather mattress to go on top of it shown that the buyer can have. My mother collected antiques and nothing she had was a reproduction. This is the real deal. Solid(whatever the wood is) I'll add it if the spindle shows up. The size is about 50" wide(the frame) 78" long and about 51" tall to the top of the corner balls. Starting cheap no reserve. Antique Parisian Rosewood handcarved headboard, footboard and rails Single/Full
This stunning hand carved and sumptuous bed frame was originally built by a seemingly romantically inspired French furniture maker in Paris in 1909. There is a stamp on the headboard. Which has faded a bit, but you can still see the date and address of the French furniture maker who must have been so proud to put his stamp on this beautiful bed. The photos do not reflect the beauty of the wood and carving but if you are into finely carving and beautiful deep wood tones, this bed is for you. It includes headboard, footboard and side rails. The bed frame will need a platform(I had a custom one made for less than 100 pounds) and so the size of the bed can be adjusted from single to full as desired.

Up for sale here is a very nice pair of antique 19th Century French Country figural cherub cast iron beds(Headboards and footboards only. NO rails or finials) The tops are cherubs. The middle panels are sheet steel. The panels appear to have been originally painted with a pattern. They present much better than my amateur photos. No rails or finials. One footboard top was cracked. But has been brazed(welded) back together. They have some rust. Panels have a hole or two near the bottoms. These are extremely rare beds. They would look great hanging on a wall, as garden gates, or repurposed as signs for your shop. Of course you could have some rail built and use them as they were originally intended. This is for a very rare and very hard to find solid wood antique spindle bed. Wheels on the bottom with cast iron. Heavy side rails. This is an antique twin bed. Marked VONG on the rails. No other manufacturer name. Very, very old, dating to late 1800s or early 1900s. Normal surface wear. Small dent on the headboard, can be fixed, by sanding and staining if wanted, see photo, it can be repaired. This bed is gorgeous a one-of-a-kind and very, very hard to find. Rails no longer have the screws or bolts to attached, but they can be purchased and installed separately. Circa Late 1800s. We are selling the foot-board. The headboard and the two side rails only. Biedermeier Austrian Antique 1830's King Size Bed Headboard. This king size headboard was made by joining two 1830's Biedermeier headboards from Austria. Fruitwood with original bronze mounts. The old finish is very well preserved. Waxed and polished, all that is needed to maintain the warm patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth. There are dings and mars for antique character, see photos. The ball corners are marvelous on this historic European furniture. A standard king size hollywood frame. Not sure where or when this thing was made. My mom inherited it from her grandmother who was from Spain or France but not sure if they got it from there. Looks like it was modified at one time to be mounted onto a full size wood bed frame. Any comments as to this thing's origin would be appreciated.

ANTIQUE WOODEN SLEIGH BED Twin Sized Headboard is 48.5," Footboard is 44" LOVELY
We are selling an antique twin size wooden sleigh bed frame- with both a headboard and footboard. My guess is that the bed frame is from the late 1800's/early 1900's. The headboard and footboard stand fairly tall. Approximately 48.5" and 44, respectively. As you can see, the wood has a really nice grain pattern and is a nice shade of reddish brown; sorry, I don't know a lot about wood and cannot identify the type of tree it is from. As you can also see, the bed is dusty from sitting in my garage and could use a good cleaning; it also has a number of scuffs and dings commensurate with age and use, but is structurally sound. If you are like me, you would rather have a well-made piece piece of antique furniture with some character and patina, than a brand new piece of mass-produced furniture from a discount seller. Antique French bed carved wood with Lion's Head headboard grey and gold Good cd
This is an incredible daybed or regular twin size. I bought it out of an estate on Martha's Vineyard many years ago and the woman who sold it to me said it was 1800's French. Exquisite carving all around and a great Lion Head on the headboard. Which is removable as well. Carved posts. There is one spot where the frame meets one leg that should be reinforced with an L brace. Inside measurement for mattress is 34" x 72" All comes apart and I had a piece of plywood cut to size for more support than cross bars and have a memory foam mattress on it. ANTIQUE CARVED NUT ACCENT WALNUT HEADBOARD ORNAMENTATION BEAUTIFUL!!!!
Up for bid is this beautiful carved walnut piece that I believe goes on a Walnut Victorian headboard. I'm pretty sure that this piece is walnut. But am no expert on woods. Just assuming that it is because most Victorian beds that I know of were made of walnut. This piece measures about 30" wide x 9" long and is about 5/8" thick at most points of the carving. Some areas are a 1/4" thick. I don't see anything broken off or any repairs. This does have some areas tat have been bumped and the patina is scuffed or lost, but no deep gouges in the wood or anything like that, just a different coloration that the majority of the piece. Not sure what type nut that is depicted on this piece. The one on the left looks like a hickory with its hull still on but the one on the right, I just don't know. All in all a beautiful ... morepiece and if you need that little extra pizazz to finish out a piece of furniture, then this would work great. Or it would be nice just displayed as is.
