There are a couple of trim pieces on the bottom front edges of the frame that are loose, and one of them is missing. The frame of the mirror is otherwise in good condition, and it has obviously been well cared for. It is a very old piece, and in great condition considering it is over 100 years old. It is done in the beautiful Eastlake style with carved accents, fluted pillars on each side at the front and a gallery top. Oak Eastlake 3/4 bed with side rails Victorian
Oak Eastlake bed from the late 1800's or early 1900's. It is the 3/4 size with the attaching side rails. At one time it was painted a light blue which is still present on the back of the headboard. Fortunately nothing was damaged and the patina is still intact and the excellent eastlake workmanship is not impaired. Footboard is 34 1/2 in. high and 63 1/2 in. wide. Bed rails are 78 1/4 in. long and inside width of rails is 57 in. Cherry dresser is 81 in. high, 47 in. wide and 22 in. deep. Dresser has original rose colored marble top, original beveled mirror and original brass hardware. Brass bolts holding mirror in frame will not tighten. Dresser has 4 drawers with dovetail construction and poplar secondary wood. Walnut chest is 52 in. high, 32 in. wide and 21 in. deep. Chest has 6 drawers with dovetail construction and poplar secondary wood. Chest does not match bed and dresser but goes well together. Total weight is about 300 lbs. Bed, dresser and chest were refinished many years ago ... moreand have a good finish. Dresser and chest are on casters. Bed does not have casters but has holes for them. Antique Victorian Eastlake wood bed and custom mattress - Turn of the century
This is an Eastlake wooden bed from the turn of the century in the original finish. It has been in my family since purchased. It has nice incise carvings and burl accents. The bed is in good condition and includes the original headboard. Footboard, and attaching side rails. It is a 3/4 size bed, so it is slightly smaller than a full size bed so I had a custom mattress made for it but full size sheets fit it fine. The custom made mattress and bunky board are in excellent condition(only slept on twice) The bed measures- 53" wide x 75.5" long. The headboard is 55" high at the tallest part and the footboard is 29" tall. The mattress measures approximately 51"x70"

I don't know much about antique furniture, this has been lovingly used in our family since it was acquired in the 1930's. It probably dates back to the 1890's, and everything is in its original state since we have owned it, I cannot tell before that. I think the wood is mahogany. The drawers are dovetailed. 1840-1860 Eastlake Victorian Mahogany Bed and Dresser
Bed and dresser is mahogany and-Dresser has marble top. No breaks or cracks and is the original top-Dresser has original bevel mirror and in good shape-Bed has matching foot board like the headboard-but half it's height. Dresser has the same design on top of dresser as the bed does-Bed is a full size, but we can put a queen mattress on it. Head board has a crack in it. If you look at the 4 th picture you can see the crack, a little glue will do the job. The set has never been refinished or repaired. The set is big, thick wood and heavy. Some wear and tear for it's age, but in very good shape. A piece of vinear came off of the dresser drawer, I'm told that was easy to repair. The carving on the bed is beautiful. Footboard and original rails in a cherry finish. Head and footboards are carved with a cut and pierced gallery finishing off the top of headboard. Wood is cut and layered on rails to produce the stepped detail on the ends. Bed fits a standard full size mattress 54" x 75" Pictured in bright sunlight and cloud cover. Bed is in overall very good condition. However, there are some signs of age on this 100 plus year old heirloom- there is some separation between the leg and body on the front right of footboard. Footboard is still very solid. There are also two spots on same leg on side where the wood must have been wet a one time ... moreas the finish color is lighter. There is also a long crack on the carved gallery on top of headboard and two of the six small gallery supports on back of headboard are missing. Gallery is solid and not loose or in danger of breaking. My guess is this crack has been there for many, many years. There are many small marks and scratches on legs. Antique Full/Double Wood Bed Frame and Dresser - Eastlake
Eastlake? bed with carved detail includes sideboards and slats. This is a true antique so if you use the sideboards. You'll need to special order a full size mattress because it is shorter than standard length when sideboards are attached to head and foot board. I've used the head and foot board only with a standard full metal bed frame in order to use a standard full size mattress. This is a family heirloom. Passed down to me from my German grandparents but we know longer have room for it in our home. Eastlake? Dresser- 42 high by 40 wide- this is an old dresser with a lot of history- it has spent only 19 of those years with me so I don't know all the history. I refinished only the top of the dresser- there is a one inch diameter spill that has happened since but can easily be touched up by the next owner. Eastlake Carved Bed Professionally Refinished for Sale!
Ornately carved Eastlake bed that was professionally refinished for sale! This is everything I can think to tell you about it: I'm trying to sell it because I'm in the process of moving overseas for work and I'm trying not to take any furniture. Cars, or anything else overly large(I'll have other things for sale on eBay until everything is sold) It was purchased from the Kane County Flea Market in St. Charles. IL in approximately 1999 when I resided in Chicago. Good friends of mine who own a famous furniture company in Chicago refinished it as a gift to me. Because they are friends of mine and the work was done as a gift. There is no documentation of the refinish. However, I included a picture of the book and the page from the book on which their shop is profiled. They normally charge between $5k-$7k for this type of refinish ... moredepending on the complexity of the piece and demand. I believe it is Eastlake but do not know for sure. There are no markings I can find that indicate definitively if it is or is not an Eastlake but the vendor it was purchased from had pretty much all pieces he claimed were Eastlake. It has the typical carvings. Shapes, and overall style of an Eastlake piece. It is solid wood which I believe is walnut but I am not 100% sure about that. There are a few blemishes present prior to the refinish that were so deep they could not be removed during the refinish process. As well as a couple of scuff marks which I did point out in the pictures. The inside of the rails were not refinished and are in their absolute naturally used condition as well as the back of the headboard. There are what appear to be scuff marks along the very bottom panel of the headboard but they were refinished as well as they could be and they are not visible when a mattress and box spring are in use. I'm not sure the size of the bed because it is not a standard size used today so I took pictures with the tape measure visible showing all the dimensions of the bed. Large victorian bed. I believe it is a Double. That has about 8 pieces. The two side pieces slide in but it seems to have had another little piece on each side. The top is all carved and this has another top piece that goes along with it, carved also may for a mirror or other bedroom piece. Not sure of the wood, but darker in color. Stands about 9 ft tall. I can crate up and ready for shipping. I use Kingdom Global Logistics and we have found them reasonable and reliable. Antique 1880's Eastlake Seven Piece Painted Cottage Bedroom Set, Queen Bed!
Up for auction is an Antique Eastlake Victorian Seven Piece Painted Cottage Bedroom set. Likely made of pine. Starting off. There's the bed(a headboard, foot board, and side rails) which has been converted to a queen size frame and includes the original wood side rails if you'd like to change it back to a full. The bed features impressive faux wood graining and burl panels set off with a floral motif. The faux painting carries over to the other pieces of the set, including a mirrored dresser with two flip top storage bins(the maker signed his name in pencil inside one of them! and four drawers, a wash stand with a drawer and two-door cabinet, a single-drawer night stand, two caned side chairs, and a caned rocker. The painting on the set is generally in good shape. Considering that it is 130+ years old. The top surfaces on the dresser, ... morewash stand, and night stand have the most wear, while vertical surfaces(which feature most of the intricate faux painting) are in good to very good shape. These losses are as would be expected for a set this old. The chairs and rocker also exhibit some paint losses, but the original caning is in pretty much pristine shape. I wouldn't sit in them, but they look great. What always amazed me. Was that this set made it through time with all the original pieces. So many times these get split up or something gets broken. Antique Eastlake Bed This is an Eastlake style antique bed. It is a beautiful and ornate set with a high-back headboard. This is definitely a"statement" piece. We believe it is composed of walnut with a medium-tone finish. Included in this set are a headboard. Footboard, side rails and slats. There is a lace dust ruffle stapled to the back of the footboard. This could be removed easily if the buyer so chooses. This set was made to hold a full extra-long size mattress. It is 56 7/8" wide. The highest point on the headboard is 83 1/4" The footboard is 31" in height. The bottom of the mattress would sit approximately 10" off of the ground(when placed on top of the slats) This is in great. Antique condition overall with some general signs of age and use. It appears as though the side rails were replaced at some point, ... morebecause they are held together with phillips head screws. The rails do, however, match rather perfectly. The top crown of the headboard was cracked and repaired by the previous owner. I also see a crack in the middle of the headboard, which I have shown in pictures. The presence of the cracks does not make the headboard any less structurally sound. The head and footboard posts each appear to be missing finials. I also noticed a water stain on the corner of the footboard, which I have also shown in pictures. There are minor imperfections, such as scratches or spots of wear, which I believe should be expected on a piece of this age.
