Dating from the 1870s, it has burl panels all over, hand carved crest on the very top, five different style shapely mirrors, rose quartz on the drop center and two top columns, four small drawers, one large drawer on the base and a hidden drawer on the very bottom. The burl panels are all picture frame molded on the drawers and on the inside of the drop center. It has oversize candle shelves. In my over 50 years in the business, I don’t believe I have owned this model even though I have had my share of drop center dressers.

Footboard is 34 1/2 in. high and 63 1/2 in. wide. Bed rails are 78 1/4 in. long and inside width of rails is 57 in. Cherry dresser is 81 in. high, 47 in. wide and 22 in. deep. Dresser has original rose colored marble top, original beveled mirror and original brass hardware. Brass bolts holding mirror in frame will not tighten. Dresser has 4 drawers with dovetail construction and poplar secondary wood. Walnut chest is 52 in. high, 32 in. wide and 21 in. deep. Chest has 6 drawers with dovetail construction and poplar secondary wood. Chest does not match bed and dresser but goes well together. Total weight is about 300 lbs. Spectacular Gothic Victorian carved Walnut Bed & marble top dresser 1860 Lincoln
This two piece bedroom suite is from the 1 86 0's in the Gothic style made famous by the"Lincoln Bed" It is a beautiful. Dark solid walnut with much graceful carving and paneled burl accents. A ll pieces are the same color-the variation in the photos is from the lighting and light coming in the w indow by the footboard-and the distance from my camera. This elegant set consists of the headboard. 7" tall, the footboard, curved) and the two footrails with original metal braces and side extensions. We have the bed set up as a queen. With a Q-metal frame, but you can see the slots on each side of the headboard where the side rail extensions fit. With the rails and footboard, it makes a full-size bed with full-length mattress and box springs. Karpen Antique Single Bed and Dresser and mattress, from early 1900's
This is a gorgeous piece of antique furniture. I purchased it in the early 70's and it has been with me in my guest bedroom. With my doll collection, all these years. It has probably been slept in 10 times as my other guest bedroom has a king size bed. But the family has grown and our 5 year reunions are at our house. So we have decided to sell this set and put in another king bed. It is in excellent condition, no broken legs, all original hardware,all original wood, beautiful painted flowers on the dresser and foot of the bed. Bed and dresser is mahogany and-Dresser has marble top. No breaks or cracks and is the original top-Dresser has original bevel mirror and in good shape-Bed has matching foot board like the headboard-but half it's height. Dresser has the same design on top of dresser as the bed does-Bed is a full size, but we can put a queen mattress on it. Head board has a crack in it. If you look at the 4 th picture you can see the crack, a little glue will do the job. The set has never been refinished or repaired. The set is big, thick wood and heavy. The carved bird motif on the headboard matches the motif on the footboard. There are age and use appropriate dings and scratches to the frame that one would expect to find on an item of this age. Dresser: The dresser has a beautiful black and gold and white veined marble top. This is one solid sheet of marble. There are some light scratches on the marble but there are no cracks in this piece. The dresser stands 37" high to the top of the marble slab. It is 36.25" wide and at the widest depth it is 21.5" It stands 74" high to the top of the mirror at the center. There are some light losses to the carving and scratches from use on this as well. There are cracks on the side but they do not affect the integrity of the piece.This also has the same matching cross diamond pattern on the sides and front as seen on the head and foot boards of the bed. The edges are also trimmed with an acanthus motif. There is a single drawer above two doors that open to reveal shelving. There is a lock on this and it does work. I used the head and foot board with a standard full metal bed frame in order to use a standard full size mattress. This is a family heirloom. Passed down to me from my grandparents but we know longer have room for it in our home. Dresser- 42 high by 40 wide- this is an old dresser with a lot of history- it has spent only 19 of those years with me so I don't know all the history. I refinished only the top of the dresser- shortly after that. There was some sort of spill that left approx. a one inch diameter spot which I have not fixed. Offered for auction is this beautiful walnut Renaissance Revival Victorian double high back bedstead and half commode/somnoe and dresser w/mirror. The finish is a light walnut which appears to be in pretty good condition with some areas of discoloration. The headboard is 7'4" h x 5'4" w. Foot board is 3'2 1/2" tall. Takes a full double mattress. There is a large carved cartouche at the top of the multi curved headboard with large applied panels with walnut burl veneer. Main part of the headboard has two recessed panels with assymetrical curved tops. Sides of the headboard are topped by large carved and turned finials. Footboard has same raised molding but has an elaborate carved element in the middle of the curved footboard. Mirrored dresser is same height and matches the carving and design of the bed headboard. Two candle shelves and two handkerchief boxes complement the mirrored back of the dresser. The half commode has a nice white/grey marble top over a single drawer with circular molding and carved handle all over a single cupboard door with burl walnut panel and wooden knob and key. These items are a pair of walnut face medallions that belong on the top of a Victorian marble top dresser or a Victorian bed. Beautiful walnut. The one on the left in the first pictures is perfect. The one on the right has an issue and the bottom and a small issue at the top on the right curve. They weigh right at about 5 pounds each. They are close to 18" tall. 12" wide and 4" at the deepest part of the wood. Excellent carving. I am not sure what the faces are made of but am sure they are from the period. Antique late 1800's B. MEILINK& SONS Bed Frame and 2 Dresser Chests with Mirrors- headboard measures 54" wide and 94" high. Up for auction is this stunning Victorian Walnut 4 Piece Bedroom set. All hand carved with burl veneer. Inside dresser drawers is a birdseye maple veneer. Hardware handles have been replaced on the wash stand and the dresser. The handles are original to the Highboy with the door front. The bed is 88" tall to the top of the carving and matress area is 61" x 75" The dresser is 88" tall to the top of the carving and 54"w. x 23" d. Wash stand is 28" tall by 37" wide by 17-1/2" deep with a marble top. The Highboy is 54-1/2" tall by 37" w. by 21-1/2 d. with 2 doors that lock and all the pieces have the original keys with them. VERY RARE Antique Oak Murphy Bed Dresser Secretary Desk Book Case 1800's
Extremely RARE Murphy Bed combination that includes built in dresser with drawers. Mirror, bookcase, drop down secretary desk and fold down bed! Incredible quality and workmanship and is perfectly clean and all original finish including glass in bookcase door which is extremely wavy glass. This is a large and heavy piece but rolls easily on it's original heavy steel caster wheels. The whole unit turns easily and the bed folds down easily also as the legs automatically fold down and lock into place. In one of the photos you will see a patent date of 1865 that is on one of the arms that holds the mattress in place. This is simply a wonderful piece of furniture and history during a time of pride of craftsmanship when things simply were not disposable and has thus survived this long for that very reason. This is a beautiful dresser. Commote and bed set. The bed is only the head board and footboard. No side rails. I have the mirror for the one dresser. The spoon carving in these pieces is gorgeous. They are made of walnut. The furniture needs a good cleaning. There is some ware on the corners and normal contact points. The hardware is all complete. The head board meassures 56.5" wide by 47" tall. The dresser measures 42" wide by 20" deep by 31" tall. The commote measures 30.5" wide by 17" deep by 28.5" tall. Are solid oak, and date from the late 1800's. The bed is a full size, has great carvings and measures 50 inches tall for the headboard and 38 inches tall for the footboard. The low antique two drawer chest dresser with mirror measures 48 inches long, 20 inches deep and 22 inches tall. The mirror with comes off measures an additional 61 inches. The dresser part makes a great tv stand, and the mirror can be used separately. The drawers are dovetailed and the dresser still has it's original brass pulls and keyhole covers. The dresser may have had a hat box attached to the top that went side by side with the mirror, but now the mirror is centered on the dresser. Original old beautiful ornate antique carved oak bedroom set which dates to the period 1880-1900. This set is from an old Michigan farmhouse that was closed up for more than 20 years. The finish appears to be all-original. With some wear and aging, but in very good condition. Bed includes vintage open-coil spring and mattress, both like new, used little if at all. Burl Walnut Victorian Eastlake Aesthetic Bed & Dresser w/ mirror Set Circa1880
I have a beautiful Burl Walnut Victorian Eastlake Aesthetic Period Bedroom Set(Circa: 1880) This gorgeous Victorian Bed measures 70” in total height from the floor to the high spot on the headboard. And 55” in total width. The total outside length of the bed is 77” The inside(mattress area) dimensions are 52" x 73" just shy of a standard bed(54 x 75) but way more than a 3/4 bed. Since it has the original spring frame, I had a mattress mfg cut their standard mattress to fit. Didn't cost extra. The dresser is 74" tall, 39" wide, and 19" deep, with beautiful brass hardware. The swivel mirror is detachable. The mirror itself is not original, and is in good shape. The bed and dresser were both refinished in the 1960's, and have a lovely hand rubbed finish. Of course, with items this old, there are nicks and dings, ... morebut they in no way diminish the beauty of the furniture. I am located in the big town 35 miles north of Branson, MO(Springfield, MO) Please bring your own blankets, ropes, truck, etc. Sale is final. Please ask if you'd like other measurements or pictures. This set features a tall headboard with a grand center carved crest. Inset burl walnut panels decorate the center of the headboard. Conforming shaped side posts hold the headboard. The dome topped foot board offers rounded corners with fruit carvings. The rails have been beautifully extended making this a"queen size" bed(photo 11) The dresser features a tilting mirror.
