It has burl panel accents trims on the mirror, doors, drawers, bed and headboard are awesome. It came out of a home on the east coast. The overall size of the bed on the outside is 57 inches wide, 37 inches high on the footboard and 78 inches high on the headboard.

This bed has a shaped crest rail of gorgeous crotch mahogany, underneath the crest are three inset panels topped with Gothic style arches and half drop finials. Their are a couple of chips of missing mahogany on the headboard~see picture.The bed which was originally roped and still has the knobs. The solid cherry post are topped with flame finials. Nice ornated Victorian Full size cast iron bed with original drop in pin style rails. The headboard is 60 inches tall or 5 ft. and the footboard is 41 inches tall. The bed is a full size measuring 54 1/2 inches wide. Very ornated and heavy built.The only thing wrong is that the footboard has a small section of railing missing as you can see in the fourth picture. Antique Victorian Eastlake wood bed and custom mattress - Turn of the century
This is an Eastlake wooden bed from the turn of the century in the original finish. It has been in my family since purchased. It has nice incise carvings and burl accents. The bed is in good condition and includes the original headboard. Footboard, and attaching side rails. It is a 3/4 size bed, so it is slightly smaller than a full size bed so I had a custom mattress made for it but full size sheets fit it fine. The custom made mattress and bunky board are in excellent condition(only slept on twice) The bed measures- 53" wide x 75.5" long. The headboard is 55" high at the tallest part and the footboard is 29" tall. The mattress measures approximately 51"x70"

I don't know much about antique furniture, this has been lovingly used in our family since it was acquired in the 1930's. It probably dates back to the 1890's, and everything is in its original state since we have owned it, I cannot tell before that. I think the wood is mahogany. The drawers are dovetailed. Up for auction is a beautifully carved Victorian Walnut Bed Crest. The crest has been carved in the shape of a lady's head. The crest is 12" tall. It is nearly 13" across the curled detail. The thickest area on the crest is at the top of the lady's head. It is about 3 1/2" thick. The crest is in the original finish. There are some nicks in the surface. The original finish has some wear. The tip of the lady's nose is flattened. There is a scratch below her chin. I did not clean or polish the crest. Antique French Victorian Iron single bed LOOK
This is a super antique Iron bed. Probably from France. I would say it dates to the 1890's. It appears to be a single bed. This is one of the best Iron beds that I have seen. It is very heavy and needs two people to lift and move it. Very sturdy and solid. It easily folds up flat and easily sets up. It was sand blasted about two years ago and has been sitting in my garage. There is some light surface rust as can be seen in the photos, but easily comes off in preparation for paint. This can be spray painted with rustoleum in about 5 minutes. I will leave the color up to the lucky purchaser. Or it can be powder coated for a super finish. Its ready to go. It must be picked up here in Riverhead Long Island or I can deliver it anywhere on Long Island only. It weighs somewhere over a 100 pounds.

An exquisite antique bedroom suite all original dating to the mid to late 1800's. This is a 3 piece set made from walnut. Burl walnut and veneer and accented with marble and original hardware that comes with the following pieces. Bed: The stunning bed is sure to be a focal point in the room. The headboard stands 70" high at the back center. It is 65" wide at the widest point. The footboard measures 38" in height at the center. The carved bird motif on the headboard matches the motif on the footboard. The upper edges of the headboard are done in an elaborate acanthus leaf pattern and a matching pattern surrounds the birds in the center. The details on the birds is incredible with finely details individual feathers. There are losses to the veneer on this and there is also a section of wood missing on the carved back area. ... moreThe footboard has a metal strip on the back of it holding the two boards together and there is a paper coating it that has losses. There are age and use appropriate dings and scratches to the frame that one would expect to find on an item of this age. Dresser: The dresser has a beautiful black and gold and white veined marble top. This is one solid sheet of marble. There are some light scratches on the marble but there are no cracks in this piece. The dresser stands 37" high to the top of the marble slab. It is 36.25" wide and at the widest depth it is 21.5" It stands 74" high to the top of the mirror at the center. There are some light losses to the carving and scratches from use on this as well. There are cracks on the side but they do not affect the integrity of the piece.This also has the same matching cross diamond pattern on the sides and front as seen on the head and foot boards of the bed. The edges are also trimmed with an acanthus motif. There is a single drawer above two doors that open to reveal shelving. There is a lock on this and it does work. This antique brass bed dates to the Victorian era and measures 55 inches wide and measures 75 inches in length. Making this a full-size bed. The headboard stands 64 inches tall and the footboard stands 40 inches tall. This bed is authentic. Old, has a great patina. It is constructed from rolled solid brass with a lacquer finish. If one was so inclined, this one would shine up well and present a super glossy finish. Offered for auction is this beautiful walnut Renaissance Revival Victorian double high back bedstead and half commode/somnoe and dresser w/mirror. The finish is a light walnut which appears to be in pretty good condition with some areas of discoloration. The headboard is 7'4" h x 5'4" w. Foot board is 3'2 1/2" tall. Takes a full double mattress. There is a large carved cartouche at the top of the multi curved headboard with large applied panels with walnut burl veneer. Main part of the headboard has two recessed panels with assymetrical curved tops. Sides of the headboard are topped by large carved and turned finials. Footboard has same raised molding but has an elaborate carved element in the middle of the curved footboard. Footboard and original rails in a cherry finish. Head and footboards are carved with a cut and pierced gallery finishing off the top of headboard. Wood is cut and layered on rails to produce the stepped detail on the ends. Bed fits a standard full size mattress 54" x 75" Pictured in bright sunlight and cloud cover. Bed is in overall very good condition. However, there are some signs of age on this 100 plus year old heirloom- there is some separation between the leg and body on the front right of footboard. Footboard is still very solid. There are also two spots on same leg on side where the wood must have been wet a one time ... moreas the finish color is lighter. There is also a long crack on the carved gallery on top of headboard and two of the six small gallery supports on back of headboard are missing. Antique Victorian 3/4 bed "Pick up only"
This bed has been in my family for four generations. My grandmothers(grandmother born in 1918) mother was born on this bed. The only history I have on it is that it is from Europe. It is a 3/4 bed appraised in 1992 at $900. It has been in storage all this time waiting to go to a good home. Has rub marks here& there but is still beautiful. It just needs a good home! I have been told this 1800'S bed is made of ash which typical for this time period but I do not know. In light of this beds age please know it has been glued in some areas. HERE IS AN ANTIQUE VICTORIAN BED FROM THE LATTER HALF OF THE 1800's THAT APPEARS TO COMBINE THE ELEMENTS OF DIFFEERENT FURNITURE STYLES OF THE 1800-1900 ERA. INITIALLY IT APPEARS TO BE AN EXAMPLE OF COTTAGE FURNITURE BECAUSE IT HAS A STENCILED AND PAINTED DESIGN ON THE HEADBOARD AND FOOTBOARD. THE DESIGN IS A BEAUTIFUL AND FINELY DETAILED. SHADOWED, LATTICE WORK WITH TRAILING FLOWERS IN SHADES OF BROWN. THE DESIGN IS HIGHLIGHTED WITH WHITE DOTS AND LINES. THE PRIMARY WOOD IS PINE WHICH HAS BEEN GRAIN-PAINTED TO IMITATE CHESTNUT WITH APPLIED CURVED MOLDINGS ON THE TOP OF THE HEAD AND FOOT BOARDS. REMINISCENT OF THE RENAISSANCE REVIVAL STYLE. THE CURVED ENDS OF THE FOOTBOARD EVEN REFLECT A HINT OF THE ROCOCO REVIVAL INFLUENCE THE HEIGHT OF THE HEADBOARD IS 60 1/2 INCHES AND THE FOOTBOARD IS 33 INCHES. BOTH ARE 57 INCHES WIDE.
