This fine desk measures 45 1/2 inches in height to the top of the gallery at the back.Height to the top at the front measures 46 inches, with a total width of 48 inches, total depth of 26 inches and this desk weighs approximately 200 lbs. The pull out writing surface measures 41 inches wide by 21 inches deep and height from the floor to the top of the writing surface measures 30 inches. The knee hole height of the desk portion measures 25 1/4 inches and knee-hole width measures 18 3/4 inches. The cylinder portion of this desk raises and lowers very smoothly and has a large brass lock mechanism on the bottom which is marked: Indianapolis Cab. Co Pat. The lock is intact but we do not have the key. The inner desk portion is beautiful maple with a multitude of various sizes of storage drawers and cubbies.The old green felt on the pull out writing surface appears original and does show some wear and some spots. The left offers a stack of four storage drawers with period dove-tailed ends and the original pulls. To the right another drawer is found with a storage cabinet below. The lock is missing from the cabinet door. It has four cutout legs with burl panels accented the sides and are joined together with a center column that has finials on the top and bottom. It has porcelain casters. The overall size is 29 inches long, 24 inches deep, and 30 inches high. It is a nice-looking original finish in a dark walnut stain. The patina of the walnut looks stunning against the marble top. Dating from the 1880s in ... morewhat appears to be the original finish, this set consists of two master arm chairs and five side chairs. I am sure the upholstery has been re-done at some point; the upholstery is usable, but could use a good cleaning, or you may consider having them reupholstered to better match your décor as well. Three of the circular round crest spindles were damaged when the chairs came in and we replaced them. The chairs have incised carving on the back of the crest, burl walnut panels, unusual cross stretcher underneath the chair back, double multi-turn spindle stretchers and they are an attractive set.

This lovely 19th century bedroom set features gorgeous raised panels of burl walnut. Incised carvings, rosettes and fine geometric carvings one expects in the Victorian Eastlake era. We believe this dresser to have its original wide beveled mirror, original brass pulls and the original beveled edge chocolate marble. The bed measures 5' 9 1/2 inches high at the head-board. 34 inches high at the foot-board, with an outside width of 61 inches and outside length of 76 inches. The inside mattress area measures 54 1/2 inches wide by 76 inches long and should accommodate a full size mattress set nicely, but one should always measure their mattress set to assure proper fit. The approximate weight of this ... morebed is 120 lbs. The dresser measures 84 inches in height to the top of the carvings on the mirror.30 inches in height to the top of the marble base, 46 inches wide, depth of the base is 20 1/2 inches and this dresser weighs approximately 200 lbs. The mirror, marble and base does separate to allow for easier handling during shipping. The wide beveled mirror measures 31 1/2 inches high by 33 1/4 inches wide. The head-board of the bed has been shortened at some point in time and done very well. The marble has no breaks or chips and is in wonderful antique condition. We believe the fancy brass pulls on the drawers to also be original. Also all the locks are intact on the drawers but we do not have they key. Burl Walnut Victorian Eastlake Aesthetic Bed & Dresser w/ mirror Set Circa1880
I have a beautiful Burl Walnut Victorian Eastlake Aesthetic Period Bedroom Set(Circa: 1880) This gorgeous Victorian Bed measures 70” in total height from the floor to the high spot on the headboard. And 55” in total width. The total outside length of the bed is 77” The inside(mattress area) dimensions are 52" x 73" just shy of a standard bed(54 x 75) but way more than a 3/4 bed. Since it has the original spring frame, I had a mattress mfg cut their standard mattress to fit. Didn't cost extra. The dresser is 74" tall, 39" wide, and 19" deep, with beautiful brass hardware. The swivel mirror is detachable. The mirror itself is not original, and is in good shape. The bed and dresser were both refinished in the 1960's, and have a lovely hand rubbed finish. Stately Walnut& Burl Victorian Aesthetic Eastlake High Back Bed circa 1880's Being offered for sale is this Stately Aesthetic Eastlake Victorian Walnut& Burl walnut High Back Bed circa 1880's. This fabulous 19th century bed features bountiful period detailed carvings with a beautiful carved crest. Carved foliate and rosettes, medallions, incised carvings and recessed and raised burl walnut panels accent the entire bed. This bed has beautifully executed side rails and when the bed is together it's very tight and sturdy. This elaborate 19th century bed is in wonderful antique condition and has a striking presence. The only apology I can see is a few chips to the top of the decorative hump on the left side rail which I have shown a shown a close up of in the pictures; this is in no way distracting from the grandeur of this ... morebed,just a part of the character from age and usage over the past 120 years or so. A gorgeous bed from another era in time that truly makes a spectacular statement!
