This bed has a shaped crest rail of gorgeous crotch mahogany, underneath the crest are three inset panels topped with Gothic style arches and half drop finials. Their are a couple of chips of missing mahogany on the headboard~see picture.The bed which was originally roped and still has the knobs. The solid cherry post are topped with flame finials. The measurements are 83 inches tall at post, 71 inches tall at headboard, 58 inches wide and 79 inches long. The mattress area is 72 inches long, and 51 inches wide. Antique Victorian Eastlake 3 pc Bedroom Set circa 1890's, bed, 2 dressers
3 piece Victorian Eastlake bedroom set consisting of headboard. Footboard, side rails, marble top dresser with mirror, and marble top commode/vanity. The nightstand in the picture is not part of the set, but would be willing to work a deal if you were interested in it. I don't know much about antique furniture, this has been lovingly used in our family since it was acquired in the 1930's. It probably dates back to the 1890's, and everything is in its original state since we have owned it, I cannot tell before that. I think the wood is mahogany. The drawers are dovetailed. The headboard is an impressive 84" tall and 54" wide. And 79" long. The bed uses a 3/4 size mattress. Mattress and box springs included if desired) The footboard is 36" high. The dresser is 90" tall. The bottom part measures 30" ... morehigh x 38" at its widest point. The marble top is 41" x 19" The commode is 30" x 31" The marble top is 31 1/2" x 30" and the backsplash is 5" high. This magnificent Victorian four piece queen size bedroom set was hand carved of solid chestnut and oak about 1860. Comprising a queen size bed. Marble top nightstand, dresser with mirror and small chest or commode, the gleaming finish is in excellent condition. There are just enough mars at the edges and shrinkage separations from age for antique character, plus various restorations over the years. Three dimensional fruit sculptures with grapes. Nuts and leaves are masterfully sculptured on this American made furniture. The bed has been expertly adapted to fit a standard modern queen size mattress and box spring as shown. Victorian Eastlake Cottage Bedroom Set Floral Painted Pine
Lovely 5 piece Victorian cottage painted bedroom set which includes bed(headboard. Footboard and 2 side rails) mirrored dresser, wash stand, chair, and little side table. Bed fits a standard double mattress. Floral stencils on each piece except for the chair, which is cream floral needlepoint. This is an original set from the 1880s so there are imperfections on the surface and a little finish loss, but overall, the set is sturdy and ready to use. 1870-1880 Antique East Lake Victorian Cottage Bedroom Set
An antique East Lake Victorian Cottage Style Bedroom Set. Includes full size bed frame with head board and foot board. Commode and dresser. All but one tiny bottom end finale piece on the headboard is here. See the forth picture where I have an arrow pointing to the little piece missing. The top piece to the dresser mirror is in the dresser, just not shown, sorry. I was told by an antique dealer that the little piece missing on the head board isn't a big deal. All hardware(knob pulls) are original. This is painted pine. All original, nothing has been refinished. The finish is in need of some love which you can see in some of the close ups. This is local pick up only. This was my Grandmothers and has been kept in a smoke free home.

In nouveau ... morestyle, a most unusual color wood, and it comes with two oversized twin beds that can be made into a king size bed if desired, an extra large triple beveled glass vanity, a five-drawer tall swell front extra large beveled glass gentleman’s chest, and an oversized four-drawer bow front chest with the largest beveled glass mirror you’ve seen in a long time. The wood looks like mahogany, in a light brown finish, and is all original except for the tops of the three case pieces, which we re-sprayed. The whole bed has gold carvings on it, accented, and every piece of the set has gold edging highlighted on all the grooves, moldings, crests, and carvings, right down to the flute style finials. The set is just of unbelievable quality, with everything extra large, well built, and the best that was offered at the time. The cast brass hardware is thick and bold, the escutcheons are amazing, and on the entire set, there are two replacement bales. The back plates are still original, and no one will ever notice. There have been a few touch ups here and there, and there are age marks, nicks and dings, but nothing serious, but showing that the set is from the 1880s or‘90s.

This set was made by Bancroft& Boyden as marked on the inside of the drawers and the dresser does have its original casters intact on the base. The locks are intact on the drawers but we do not have they key. This is a very heavy, solid set and the bed sets up tight and secure. The original mirror does show age appropriate streaking ... moreas common in old mirrors. The only apologies I can find is one of the acorn finials on the bed has a chip on the backside and there is a small piece of molding missing on the left side of the mirror base where it rests on the dresser.see last picture.
