you are viewing my sale for a Vintage Blue Crown#3 Stoneware Brown& Cream Crock With Handle. This"bean" crock measures 6 3/4" tall by 5 and 7/8" wide at the largest rim. By 4" wide at the actual opening, by 6 1/4" across at the base and 9" wide including the handle. There is a blue crown logo stamped into the side of the crock with a#3 in the center circle. Up for auction today is a Vintage S to neware lid Unknown ma ker and item this goes on. But. I found it on top of a Monmouth 2 Gallon crock, and it fit, but just a bit big and d id not look right. So I am pretty sure it did not go with it-but would assume it would be for a 2 or 3 gallon stoneware crock. Measures just over 1 0.25" diameter and is 8.5" wide at t he insert that goes into the crock. That part is be veled or ang eled. This auction is for a Vintage Red Wing 3 gallon crock. Has a blue number 3 on the front. A red wing and the Red Wing Union Stoneware Co. Red Wing Minn. Stands right at 10" tall with a diameter of right at 10.5" across. This has some blemishes, a chip on the rim and fractures across the bottom as you can see in the photos. Also on the bottom someone has placed felt pads so the crock wouldn't scratch any surface it set on, these could be removed. This is solid, the fractures are not breaks. Unique hand painted three gallon salt glazed crock with beautiful cobalt blue markings. This is one from my personal collection that I need to whittle down a little bit. Its absolutely beautiful! The cobalt blue flower and number three richly stand out. The front of the crock is STAMPED"J FISHER LYONS NY" and was made sometime between 1872 and 1902. It measures 9 3/4" tall and 11" wide not including the handles. There are two cracks on the back that are pictured. Since they are on the back they do not affect the ability to display this piece. 3 gallon Union Stoneware Co. crock. Red Wing, Minnesota. Early Red Wing, circa 1890. This old crock with the double birch leaf design has good markings and displays extremely well. In the first four photos, I've rotated the crock 90 degrees to give you a full picture of its exterior. In the fifth, a picture of the bottom of the crock as seen from the interior, you'll see a"spider crack" that occurred during baking. It does not extend through to the exterior, and the crock is watertight. In the third and sixth photos, you'll see a very fine hairline crack that extends about 8" along the base. The seventh photo shows an inverted"Y" shaped hairline stress crack in the side of the crock. The crock measures 10 1/2" across the top and stands 10 3/4" tall. MIALI POTTERY El Monte California Small Crock Blue Band 3" Tall- Since 1906. This is a nice crock and it measures almost 3" Tall and 5" across. The edge is wavy in one spot and that is how it was made see last photo. Color of my photo is just a tad more yellow. The item is a bit lighter in color. Kind of a off cream. It has some crazing and that is normal for pottery this old. I am guessing this is around 1920's era. No chips or damage just the crazing. You are bidding on a Vintage Crock with 3 Piece Aluminum Lid. I think this is about a 2 gallon crock with a 3 piece aluminum lid. I’m not sure of its original use but it is a nice piece. I can’t see any cracks in it and there are some very minor chips from use. The retainer or the male threaded part of the aluminum lid is still affixed to the crock but it spins which may be the way it’s supposed to be. Up for bid is this vintage pottery crock with the cobalt blue Crown 3 hallmark and the lid. The outside is glazed in beige. With a cobalt blue crown. The inside is glazed in beige as well. The crock is a 3 gallon size and measures 11 1/4" tall, 10 3/4" wide. What makes this crock rare is that the lid is still intact and with it, as I have found very few with the lid included. What you are viewing is an original antique 3-4 gallon(I Think) Stoneware crock with applied handles and a wonderful blue bee sting decoration on the front. Piece is in great shape for its age with some wear and aging to contend with as well as one 6in crack starting from the top. Piece has nice clean handles and crack is in the back of the piece so it won't detract much in display. Piece measures 9in X 8 3/4in X 13 3/4in and is a nice displayable size but once again, I am not sure about the gallon size. Salt Glazed pottery and stoneware were manufactured in the early 1900's. Most of these were utilitarian stoneware pieces such as churns. Jugs and crocks. This piece is in good Vintage aged condition- some minor chips and repaired crack at part of bottom but not too noticeable. Displays nice! This is a antique stoneware pottery lid for a crock which measures approx. 10 1/2" in diameter and is approx. 1.5" tall. The measurement underneath from the lid's rim at bottom which fits inside the crock measures from outside edge to opposite outside edge approx. 8.75" across. This antique stoneware lid has a lovely number"3" inscribed on center underneath lid on bottom which is in a hand-inscribed stylized'curly' font(see close-up pic included) The color is'mottled' meaning that there are other colors including black on its surface with a'striped' affect(see pics) The lid has its finial knob on top(see pics) which is undamaged. The lid is in very good ... moreperiod condition with no repairs and no cracks, it has some chips-there are no chips on finial knob, on the inside raised rim on top of lid there are only a few tiny minute flea bites or abrasions there(see pics) there are few chips on the surface of the sides of the inside bottom(underside) rim which do not go very deep(see pics) and last on the top of the outermost rim's edge there are 4 chips as shown in pics-please view this and all pics as to condition and color patterning.
