you are viewing my sale for a Vintage Blue Crown#3 Stoneware Brown& Cream Crock With Handle. This"bean" crock measures 6 3/4" tall by 5 and 7/8" wide at the largest rim. By 4" wide at the actual opening, by 6 1/4" across at the base and 9" wide including the handle. There is a blue crown logo stamped into the side of the crock with a#3 in the center circle. Here are 2 vintage brown glazed butter or cheese crocks The first one the left does not have a lid or bale. But there are factory depressions for the bale to attach. There is a small chip on the bottom edge. It is 3 1/2" tall x 4 1/2" wide. No marks. The one on the right has the lid. Gasket and bale and is in working order. It has few minor glaze flakes on the bottom edge and inside the rim. It is about 5 1/2" tall including the bale x 3 1/2" wide. It is stamped on the bottom in purple-20822 $F139. This stoneware crock came from an auction in Vermont. Unfortunately the lid goes not match the crock. The crock has a nice brown color. There are no cracks. Some light chipping on the top rim, please see all pictures. It measures 7 3/8" tall and 5 1/2" in diameter across the bottom. It holds 8 cups of liquid when full. Nice piece. It has the#4 that is easy to see and what appears to be the letters Qt to it's right. The second picture show a white place where the bail is attached. This is NOT a chip, but a flaw in the application of the glaze. It is 7 1/4 inches tall without the lid. It measures 10 inches across the widest part(including the handle) The body is 8 1/2 inches across without the handle. The lid is 5 inches wide and the knob is 1 1/8 inches across. Vintage Christmas 1979 7 1/2" Dark Brown Crock Stoneware w Lid
This auction is for a unique dark brown crock with wreath and Christmas 1979. This vintage crock is glazed in very dark brown. It stands 7 1/2” high from the top of the lid to the bottom of the crock and is 4 3/4” across at the base. It has the lid and the wire to secure the lid. It is in great condition. No cracks. Chips, or repairs. I posted other crocks and several other antique and vintage items on eBay as well. Antique Boston Baked Beans Crock with lid in excellent condition. The entire piece is glazed and looks new inside and out. There are no chips or cracks. The pot has the Maple Leaf USA mark on the bottom signifying it was produced by the Monmouth Pottery Company. It weighs two pounds and measures five inches tall and 7 inches wide including the handles. Please ask all questions before bidding as all sales are final and there are no returns. Small Brown Beehive Stone Crock Jar with Metal Lid Insert Solid No Cracks. The opening at the top is 2" the metal insert looks like it would come out. It is sitting in there crooked and I'm not going to attempt to remove it. The base is about 5 1/4" and it's about 6 1/2" tall. There are a couple of small chigger bites in the lip which can be seen in the photos. I don't see any cracks in the jar itself although the finish has crackling as would be expected. Vintage Lot of 8 Cheese/Butter Crocks 5 of them are brown. 1 is a tan/beige color and the other is a light orange color The small tan/beige color is a Watkins crock. It is about 3"diameter x 3"H. The orange color crock is the same size. Both of these have the seal/ring. The metal wire snap top on the orange crock is rusted a little. The 3 medium sized crocks are about 3 1/4"diameter x 4 1/4"H. One has a rubber ring/seal. The other two do not. One of them also has a House of Cheese Sticker on the front which is partially worn off. The metal snap top wire on top has some of the silver color worn off. The 3 largest crocks are 4"diameter x 4 1/4"H. Two of them have the rubber ring/seal. The other crock does not. One of these is marked China on the bottom. There is a number on the bottom of another. The one without ... morethe seal seems to have a small chip. But it is cover with the same color brown as is the crock, so it may have been a manufacturer's flaw. This same crock also has a chip of paint missing on the side. They are all in very good condition. With the exception of some minor flaws. VINTAGE BROWN POTTERY CHEESE CROCK W/ WIRE BALE HINGED LID
This is an Antique Cheese Brown Pottery Crock With Wire Bale Hinged Lid in very good condition. It measures 4 1/4" tall to the top of the lid and 3 1/2" across the bottom. There is one very small place on the bottom rim I show in the pictures where the glaze skipped and there are no cracks or chips.There is no rubber seal. The inside of the lid has brown stains on the pottery. The original paper label is very faded but says Cold Pack Cheese Food and a list of the ingredients.there is no rust on the wire Bale Wire. It seal very tight. The bottom of the crock is unmarked and has rings as you can see in the pictures. A very nice piece of brown pottery.

I got this at a clean smoke free collectors auction. This is a vintage crock. There are a few minor cosmetic conditions but it displays VERY very well! The lid fits perfectly and is in good vintage condition. There are a few hairline cracks. On the bottom and and a bottom edge(see pics#4-5) The bottom hairline crack does go through to the inside but it is still very solid and not going to break unless you drop it of course: There is also a chip on the top edge(see pic#3) There is some milk white splash on it which you can see in the first pic but I'm confident you can clean that off if you want without damaging the crock finish. Lg. Brown and Tan Glazed Crock w/Handle and Lid
Cleaning out my cabinets and discovered this crock tucked away in a box. It measures 8" tall. 5' opening.6" total diameter of top opening.Excluding the handle, the circumference is 28"The handle is another 9" long and is 2 1/2 inches from the crock.There are no chips or crazing on this crock. It can both serve as a jug or a storage crock.It weighs about 6 1/2 lbs as is before packaging. I have had it now for well over 10 years and it was originally purchased in upstate NY at a tag sale. It really is a nice looking piece.

UP FOR AUCTION IS THIS ANTIQUE STONEWARE 2 GALLON OVOID CROCK WITH LID. IT IS A TWO TONE BROWN AND PUDDY. BUT THIS ONE ALSO HAS A GOLD RING GOING AROUND SEPERATING THE TWO COLORS. THE BROWN IS EXTREAMLY NICE, DARK AND STRIKING. THERE ARE NO CRACK THAT I SEE IN IT ONLY MARKS FROM WHEN IT WAS MADE. THE INSIDE IS VERY CLEAN. THE LID FITS ON TOP AND DOES SHOW SOME AGE. THIS IS THE LID THAT WAS WITH IT WHEN I RECEIVED IT AND IT DOES LOOK TO BE THE SAME COLOR PUDDY, BUT I CAN NOT SAY THAT IT IS THE ORIGINAL ONE. THERE IS A 2 ON THE FRONT. Vintage Or Antique 7" Dark Brown Glazed Stoneware Crock-Wide Mouth-No Lid
This dark brown vintage/antique glazed stoneware crock has an interesting shape. Different from most. It stands 7” high. Is 5 7/8” across the bottom and 4 1/2” across at the top opening. It is in very good condition. There is one small chip at the base. Almost invisible unless turned upside down. There is an interesting effect on one side where it looks like the glazing was applied unevenly. With some of the stoneware surface still showing through. There is no lid.
