Up for auction is a very nice old cottage cheese crock. With the name"Fairmont's cottage cheese registered" written on the front. The crock is about 7 inches tall and 8 1/2 inches in diameter. The one in picture 11 hardly goes through. If at all. And, the one in picture 12 shows about half of the crack going all the way through to the inside. About 5 1/2" Tall to the top of the wire. This is an Antique Cheese Brown Pottery Crock With Wire Bale Hinged Lid in very good condition. It measures 4 1/4" tall to the top of the lid and 3 1/2" across the bottom. There is one very small place on the bottom rim I show in the pictures where the glaze skipped and there are no cracks or chips.There is no rubber seal. The inside of the lid has brown stains on the pottery. The original paper label is very faded but says Cold Pack Cheese Food and a list of the ingredients.there is no rust on the wire Bale Wire. It seal very tight. The bottom of the crock is unmarked and has rings as you can see in the pictures. A very nice piece of brown pottery.

Kaukauna Klub Vintage Retro Stoneware Crock Cheese Butter - PAIR
These 2 crocks are from the Kaukauna Dairy Company of Kaukauna. Wisconsin with a 1933 copyright date in blue paint. They are both 6" tall and 4" in diameter, and are in Very Good condition. No cracks, chips or paint loss. The wire closures work properly and have No Rust, and the rubber seals are intact. As you can see in photos, the insides are very Clean as well.
