USA is marked on the bottom. The crock is a 3 gallon size and measures 11 1/4" tall, 10 3/4" wide. It is in beautiful condition with no chips and only one tiny crack, barely visible in photo 5. It is in very good condition with several areas that I think are from the original making where the brown color didn’t cover. One on the handle and rim and two on the pot(see photos) very few scratches and over all very nice condition. The piece measures approximately 5 3/4 T x 8 ½” W including handles. There is a area on the interior that looks like a crack but you can not feel it, nor does it go through. A perfect size for putting utensils in with the larger mouth on the top. I am unfamiliar with silver. Glass and coins but purchased a lot where an antique store had closed and the items had been stored for 12 years. Here is an antique solid#4 porcelain crock made by the Hall company in the USA. The crock shows typical wear from age and was use as a planter for awhile. It has been cleaned with soap and water. There is one chip(superficial) at the bottom of the middle lip(see pic) There are no cracks or holes. There are some marks and tiny nicks around the top edge. This crock is 8 and 1/2 inches tall and 9 and 1/2 inches across the top and it weighs almost 10 pounds unpackaged. It is marked on the bottom. This is a very stronger heavy crock. Antique Stoneware Crock Hand Painted Flower Pattern Stamped USA
This beautiful old crock was purchased at the estate sale of a collector. It is about 8 1/2 inches tall and 6 1/2 inches diameter at the opening. The unusual design includes a raised floral pattern that is hand painted. The paint is worn off some with age and use. Most of these old crocks were used in the kitchen on a daily basis- possibly as a cookie jar or lard container- so it is common to have chips as this one does around the lid. The crock features a blue crown and“2” stamped on the front and is marked“ USA” on the bottom. The crock sits about 6 1/4” high. Including the lid and is approx. 7 1/2” across, including the handle. It holds 2 quarts of liquid(actually about 4 oz. more if filled completely to the rim) It is in very good condition; the only problem is a very small(about 1/4” chip on the edge of the top side of the lid. This chipped area is slightly larger on the underside of the lid.

BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE STONEWARE 3 QUART CROCK MADE IN USA COMBINATION HIGH AND MATTE GLAZE This is a very nice 3 quart stoneware crock with an unusual combination of high gloss and matte glazes. The upper portion is a rich brown high gloss glaze followed by a band of high gloss lighter brown and dark brown. The lower portion is a matte tannish speckled glaze. They feel different to the touch and you can feel the ridge indicating that the high gloss glaze was added later. High gloss glaze on the inside as well-this crock can be used! Measures 4 5/8"high with an 8" diameter. It is marked on the bottom with the form number"1265" 3 qt" and"USA" I do not know the maker. Condition: Excellent overall for its age with only small minor defects. No cracks. Chips, breaks, or crazing. It has no cracks chips or major flaws other than some light crazing in the glazingconsistent with this type. Measures about 8" tall. Fine early specimen of American(Pennsylvania) pottery. Embossed signed F. H. COWDEN HARRISBURG PA. Wheel thrown stoneware w/ pulling rings interior. Smoothed exterior, cut from potter's wheel base w/ slightly recessed center. Sensible ringed collar for no-hazard carrying. And an interesting light shine brown slip glaze. This crockery dates from 1881-1888. It stands 6 and 1/4 in. high. And is 6 in. across collar. Condition. As seen, no cracks or repairs, has one glass loss spot.
