There are the usual slubs and imperfections from the glazing process, a couple of small darker areas. Nice condition overall. This is probably a bit small to be a crock lid and too fancy a top. This auction is for an antique H.H. ZIGLER NEWVILLE PA. stoneware crock. It has a nice clear stamp as shown and rather small measuring just 6 1/4" tall by 7" across the top. Crock only holds about 3/4 gallon. There is an old rim chip and some light staining as shown. Rim chip is located on the back side. Directly across from the stamp and can't be seen when displayed. Otherwise, the condition is great with no repairs. I will be happy to combine multiple purchases to save on shipping.

What you are viewing is an original antique 3-4 gallon(I Think) Stoneware crock with applied handles and a wonderful blue bee sting decoration on the front. Piece is in great shape for its age with some wear and aging to contend with as well as one 6in crack starting from the top. Piece has nice clean handles and crack is in the back of the piece so it won't detract much in display. Piece measures 9in X 8 3/4in X 13 3/4in and is a nice displayable size but once again, I am not sure about the gallon size. The piece is marked: EAST INDIA Rum. It has the numbers/letters: S72. The crock has a nice imperial crown on the face. This crock is missing its lid. It does have a wood pour spout. I do not know is the spout is original to the piece. I do not think the spout works. Found in a barn in Michigan. It does have some wear. The crock has a few chips on the top lip. Here is an antique solid#4 porcelain crock made by the Hall company in the USA. The crock shows typical wear from age and was use as a planter for awhile. It has been cleaned with soap and water. There is one chip(superficial) at the bottom of the middle lip(see pic) There are no cracks or holes. There are some marks and tiny nicks around the top edge. This crock is 8 and 1/2 inches tall and 9 and 1/2 inches across the top and it weighs almost 10 pounds unpackaged. It is marked on the bottom. This is a very stronger heavy crock. Thank you for stopping by to check out this antique crock. It measures over 10" across the opening of the bowl which is the same size as a similar bowl that is a 4 quart size. As best as I can see. Antique brown and beige Crock - Stamped 3/4
Brown and beige pitcher with one handle marked with a 3/4 stamp. The lid has a chip. Which I've shown a closeup of. There is a line around the bottom that doesn't go along the whole of the bottom. I'm not sure if this is a crack or what. I don't see anything when looking at the inside. Height is about 7 inches. Thanks for looking!

This is a matching pair of beautiful vintage Western Stoneware Co. No. 4 crocks. They measure 7-1/2" high and 5-1/2" diameter. There is no damage to these crocks. They just show natural signs of aging. I am not sure if these crocks had a rubber seal or not, but they lock tight with the WEIR SEAL. If they need a seal it looks like one from a large mason jar might fit.

ANTIQUE 1800'S FORT EDWARD NEW YORK 4 QUART STONEWARE CROCK BY G.S. GUY & CO.
For sale is a nice antique 1800's salt glaze stoneware 4 quart crock from Fort Edward. New York made by G.S. Guy& Co. The crock has three small chips on the upper rim and one on the bottom. There is a large firing crack near the bottom that starts at the brown spot and extends right for about 5 and 1/2 inches, give or take. It does spider web out a little. This firing crack does not go all the way through to the inside. From the inside, you see absolutely no evidence of a crack anywhere and the crock will hold water. Offered is this vintage or antique dark brown stoneware double-handled four-gallon churn. The churn has a few problems. The most obvious of which is that one of the handles is broken. It also has numerous minor small chips in the glazing. There is no lid. Otherwise. The piece is good, with no cracks or rim chips. The churn is approx. 15 1/2" high and 9" in diameter across the bottom. This is listed as"pickup only" as I'm not sure it could be shipped safely no matter how well packed. Antique Stoneware 4 Gallon R. T.Williams New Geneva, PA Blue Decorated Crock
Offered is an exceptional antique crock with stenciled R. T. Williams. New Geneva, PA on the front with additional hand brushed stripes. It also has a brushed 4 indicating the 4 gallon size. It measures 15" tall& 11" at its widest point. The condition is very good. There is a hairline on the bottom rim which is about 4" long and runs up the side about 6"please see pictures 7& 8. There was a hairline which started at the top front of the crock went about 1/3 down and then across for about 6" above the stenciled decoration) which has been professionally restored and only noticeable upon close inspection.
