The pot has the Maple Leaf USA mark on the bottom signifying it was produced by the Monmouth Pottery Company. A true antique crock. I'm selling the old pottery piece for my friend. She's 92& asked me to list it. The crock came from her home place. In Bybee, Tn. where she was born& raised. She moved from the family farm in 1960. She remembers the crock as a small child. She was born in 1920 so this crock is definitely an antique. Great condition. No chips. A couple very light. Glaze hairline cracks that you need extra light to see& doesn't take away or cause any issues. The stoneware crock is 6" tall& 5.75" across the top. Two tone or two shades of brown. This item came from an estate sale. It measures approximately 7" tall with lid by 9" wide with handles. On the front face is the B& M logo and the bottom is marked"B& M Baked Beans Made in U.S.A. 0606" No chips or cracks but there is some crazing and some imperfections as is common with old pottery. The lid has some blemishes along the edge that appear to be areas that missed the paint rather than chips as the area is fairly smooth. PLEASE NOTE- I do not ship outside the United States. This is an antique very heavy 1 gallon salt glaze stone ware crock made to be a liquid dispenser. It is in excellent condition. However it is missing the lid and the spout.It is in good to very good condition, there are no large chips, but there is a small one on the inside like a bubble broke during the glazing process and 2 flea bites on the edges. It does have a what looks like a hairline crack on one side but it does not go all the way down to the bottom. There is crazing all over it. It was being used as a utensil holder when I got it. It measures 7 1/2" tall by 7 3/4" wide O.D. 6 1/2" inside, the hole is glazed and is directly on the bottom of the inside so it is 3/4" off the bottom outside& is 1 3/8" wide. The company has been in business for 35 years or so. Has a chemical or solvent smell to the crock. And I am not sure what it was ever used for. The crock is actually discolored(darker in a large area) And it is possibly due to whatever was in the crock at one time. Color is actually a darker tan than showing in the pictures. Fairly large diameter crock. Measuring approx. 6"H to the top of the lid with a 5-3/8" diameter. Has a small shallow surface chip on the edge of the jar. Lot of 6 nice crocks- 2 are the darker brown approx. 5" x 6" one of them has a small chip on the top of the lid which I've shown in the pictures. 2 are cobalt blue approx. 4" x 5" I've shown how they close today with the seals- the seals seem dried so they do not seal well and shift to the side when you clamp the wire down- if you replace the seals I believe they'll be just fine. 1 dark brown approx. 4" x 5" and 1 tan approx. 4" x 4" Some have seals. Some do not(refer to the pictures) They seem in really nice condition please refer to the pictures.

THIS LISTING IS FOR A VINTAGE USADOUBLE HANDLED BEAN POT. THIS VERY LARGE CROCK BEAN POT MEASURES 10 1/2" ACROSS FROM HANDLE TO HANDLE. WITH A 7 3/4" DIAMETER AT THE BOTTOM, AND 7 1/2" HIGH TO THE TOP OF THE LID. THE BOTTOM IS BLACK STAMPED USA- MAKER AND EXACT AGE ARE UNKNOWN, ALTHOUGH IT APPEARS TO BE EARLY. THE TOP IS DARK BROWN, WITH A LIGHTER BROWN THICK LINE, THEN A LIGHTER TAN FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE HANDLES TO THE BOTTOM OF THE POT. THE TAN AREA SHOWS A LOT OF CRAZING, BUT THERE ARE NO CHIPS OR CRACKS- IT IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION FOR THE AGE.

Vintage Speckled Ovoid Crock Stoneware Tan Brown over 2 Quart Heavy 3.6 Pounds
This glazed stoneware crock came from an auction in Vermont. It has a wonderful tan speckled design. I'm not sure why there used to be a handle on the crock since there is not a spout. But the handle is completely broken off. There are chips on both the top and bottom rim, no cracks. There is some orange paint on the outside bottom around the base that seems may come off. The crock is heavy. It weighs 3 pounds, 6 ounces. It measures 9 1/4" high and about 7" in diameter at the widest point. It holds 10 cups. I do not have a lid.
