This crock is in Excellent Condition with 1 chip to the outside of the rim and 4 very minor very shallow chips to the outside of the rim. There is a split on the inside of the crock just below the rim. A large flea bite on the one side, and a very minor indent on the other side, all happened during the making of this crock. There is a bit of a wave to the upper rim. You can refer to the pictures. We guarantee 100% you will be more than happy with the excellent condition of this crock. Authentic Old Antique Small Stoneware 1 Quart Crock 6-1/8" Tall GREAT CONDITION
This excellent little kitchen crock measures just over six inches tall. And probably hold about a quart. The piece is from an estate, so we really don't know it's actual age, only that it is very old and original. This stoneware crock came from an auction in Vermont. Unfortunately the lid goes not match the crock. The crock has a nice brown color. There are no cracks. Some light chipping on the top rim, please see all pictures. It measures 7 3/8" tall and 5 1/2" in diameter across the bottom. It holds 8 cups of liquid when full. Nice piece. Vintage Roseville Spongeware Glazed Crock Cover or Bowl Lid. It measures 8 inches in diameter and approx 1 inch thick. The inside unglazed rings are slightly different measurements of 6 1/4 inches on one side and 6 1/2 inches on the other side(perhaps to universally fit different crocks) This is an an oldie. But goodie if you need it for your old crock. There are a few extremely hard to see shallow fleabites on the edges, yet they can be felt. No cracks, but I can detect some very, very fine crazing if the light shines on it just right. Antique ovoid decorated stoneware crock, 8'' tall
This primitive decorated stoneware jar is an amazing size 8' tall. The top rim has drooped in the firing to give it an unusual shape. It has cobalt decoration. 3 squiggles. There is some roughness on the top rim. There are no cracks, the ovoid shape is wonderful and makes it older than the straight sided ones. Vtg. Stoneware Short Crock (Possibly Dog Dish) in Great Condition 10"x3 5\8"High
Tonight's Buy It Now Item is a Vintage Stoneware Crock or Possibly a Older Dog Dish which it fits with size and looks. But with no name on the sides and possibly a mark on the base which could be signature(Photo#3) or just a mark on the base that's nothing more than an imperfection. It's in great condition, I find no chips or cracks, just some wear proving it's been around awhile. It measures 10 inches to the very outside of the top lip, and about 3 5\8 inches from base and top of the lip. Quite heavy and solid and I'll leave it to the specialists out there to figure dog dish? is it signed? or just a vintage crock on the shorter side than most? This vintage brown stoneware crock jar measures 8" high and 5 1/2" across the base. It has a salt glazed finish and the interior is unglazed. No markings and no lid. Its original use was probably as a storage crock or canning jar. In very good vintage condition. Several pinhead sized very shallow chips, no cracks. I have lowered the price to account for this. This small vintage light beige crock stands about 7 1/8” high and is approx. 4” in diameter across the base. It originally had a top and handle– the holes are visible where the wire handle attached. The holes do not go all the way through the side. The piece is in very good condition. With no chips or cracks. There is some light crazing of the glazed surface. It has very thick sides and is quite heavy for its size- nearly 3 lbs. I will ship it either USPS or FedEx. Depending on which is cheaper to your location. VINTAGE LARGE BLUE CROWN 8 GALLON CERAMIC STONEWARE PICKLING CROCK Crock measures approx. 16" H x 13.5" in diameter and has a blue crown stamped on the front with an 8(USA) No lid. Minimal cosmetic wear. Overall in fantastic shape with no cracks or breakage. This crock was well cared for as you can see from the pictures. The inside shines beautifully. I took a close-up picture of the pin pricks in the glazing. This is the spot that has the most of them but they are all over the crock and probably a standard thing with crocks this old but I wanted to point it out so there were no surprises. Doesn't take away from the cosmetic look of the crock at all. Well there you have it. Shipping charges are included and I will professionally package this so it arrives to your door undamaged. Looks like a manufacturers bubble defect, as it was also on a previously sold one. This piece looks fantastic and is a wonderful addition to any collection! I saw but one hairline that was only a couple inches long as pictured. Looks like a very well kept piece! Measures 15 1/4" tall and is 13 1/2" diameter. Paint and glaze on this piece is excellent! Virginia, it measures 6-3/8" tall with a diameter of 4-1/8" at the top and 4" at the bottom. It features: a nice variable gray salt glaze on the exterior and interior an interior lower rim potter's finger grooves visible inside The crock is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. But does show a surface-only hairline on one side and very minor roughness on the rims. A terrific example of a utilitarian piece of late 19th century pottery! This is a heavy stoneware pottery crock lid. The brown domed lid is 8 1/4 inches across. The raised rim on the inside is 6 3/4 inches across. It has a brown glaze on the outside. The inside is not glazed and has the number 16 marked on it. The lid has a single button handle. No chips. Cracks or crazing.

Virginia, it measures 9-3/8" tall with a diameter of 5-1/2" at the top and 6-1/8" at the bottom. It features: a nice variable gray salt glaze on the exterior Albany glaze on the interior a 1/2' deep rim potter's finger grooves visible inside The crock has a faint 3-4" hairline that does not show in the photos coming off the top rim and a small chip on the bottom rim. This Crock Stoneware Lid has 4 deer(as opposed to 3 on most of these lids) and is 8 1/8 inches in total diameter. The fitting lip is 6 13/16 outside diameter. If you have a crock you need this lid for it must be less than 6 13/16 total top inside diameter and not larger than 8 1/8 top outside diameter. The pictures are highly accurate and should be used as your guide. A beautiful piece of Primitive Pottery is this 8 inch Brown Crock-Albany Slip- late 1800's. The marks on the rim are glaze skips. NOT CHIPPED. Smooth. Photo looks as though these crocks have big chunks out of the rim. Neither one does, They are glaze skips. Comes in Excellent condition with very minor issues. Stands at 8 inches high x 4.5 mouth or opening and a 5 inch base. Shows wear around the bottom. Again not chunks. Several kind of ruff patches of the pottery. It does show wear such as glaze skips. Scratches and vintage marks, Can not find cracks. The inside bottom is old and dirty. This is one of the nicest pieces of Albany Slip Crocks I have come across. Antique Blue Ribbon Brand 8 Gallon Stoneware Crock Buckeye Pottery McComb ILL
For you today is a absolutely fabulous Antique Blue Ribbon 8 Gallon Stoneware Crock made by Buckeye Pottery Co of McComb. Ill. It has the blue wood handles with metal supports that are strong and intact. There are no chips and I do not even see any hairline cracks. There are a few bubble holes from manufacturing, one in the back that is way less than 1/8th of an inch and a few that are the size of the tip of a pen or smaller. The Cobalt Blue is bright and the ribbon is nicely done. This is a fine crock that will be admired where ever you put it. You could not ask for a finer crock. Measures 15& 1/2"s tall and 15"s wide across the top. Very Heavy. I also have a#12 and#10 crock listed by Red Wing. Please pay within 3 Days of the Ending Date of Auction. An antique blue decorated stoneware crock which is stamped"1-1/2" gallon on the front. There is no maker's mark or stamp. The crock is approximately 6-3/8" tall and 9-7/8" wide across the top. The blue decoration is in a beautiful state of repair with virtually no wear. There is a large chip to the rim right of center on the side. Measuring nearly 2.25" in length. There is also a hairline on the back of the piece, which starts at the rim and extends about 4" downward. There are virtually no other problems- just some discoloration and the typical glaze skips/tiny dings. Please view the images for condition details.
