you are viewing my sale for a Vintage Blue Crown#3 Stoneware Brown& Cream Crock With Handle. This"bean" crock measures 6 3/4" tall by 5 and 7/8" wide at the largest rim. By 4" wide at the actual opening, by 6 1/4" across at the base and 9" wide including the handle. There is a blue crown logo stamped into the side of the crock with a#3 in the center circle. Rare Old Stoneware Crock Lid Nice Design 2 or 3 Gallon crock 10" lid
Up for auction today is a Vintage S to neware lid Unknown ma ker and item this goes on. But. I found it on top of a Monmouth 2 Gallon crock, and it fit, but just a bit big and d id not look right. So I am pretty sure it did not go with it-but would assume it would be for a 2 or 3 gallon stoneware crock. Measures just over 1 0.25" diameter and is 8.5" wide at t he insert that goes into the crock. That part is be veled or ang eled. Antique Vintage 7 3/8" Brown 1 Quart Stoneware Crock Jar with Lid
This stoneware crock came from an auction in Vermont. Unfortunately the lid goes not match the crock. The crock has a nice brown color. There are no cracks. Some light chipping on the top rim, please see all pictures. It measures 7 3/8" tall and 5 1/2" in diameter across the bottom. It holds 8 cups of liquid when full. Nice piece. Vintage Crock with 3 Piece Aluminum Lid
You are bidding on a Vintage Crock with 3 Piece Aluminum Lid. I think this is about a 2 gallon crock with a 3 piece aluminum lid. I’m not sure of its original use but it is a nice piece. I can’t see any cracks in it and there are some very minor chips from use. The retainer or the male threaded part of the aluminum lid is still affixed to the crock but it spins which may be the way it’s supposed to be. Keep in mind you are bidding on a used item(s) I will try to give the best description that I can. Vintage Blue Crown 3 Gallon Crock with Lid
Up for bid is this vintage pottery crock with the cobalt blue Crown 3 hallmark and the lid. The outside is glazed in beige. With a cobalt blue crown. The inside is glazed in beige as well. The crock is a 3 gallon size and measures 11 1/4" tall, 10 3/4" wide. What makes this crock rare is that the lid is still intact and with it, as I have found very few with the lid included. The lid has a circular knob handle with a"3" engraved in it. The crock is in beautiful condition with a couple chips on the lid(see photo) Item will be carefully packed and shipped. RED WING STONEWARE CHURN LID 3 - 4 GALLON MINNESOTA
This is a churn lid marked 3- 4 that fits a 3 or 4 gallon churn made by Red Wing Stoneware of Red Wing Minnesota. Lid measures 7 ¼” diameter. The round opening for the dasher pole is 1 3/16” diameter. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs- there are a few spots where color or glaze is missing and a rough spot next to the dasher pole opening. These imperfections appear to be from manufacturing, not damage amd are not at all significant in an old churn lid like this. This lid is in really good shape. Vintage Blue Crown #3 Gallon Crock with Lid (Brown strip across top- different!)
I got this at a clean smoke free collectors auction. This is a vintage crock. There are a few minor cosmetic conditions but it displays VERY very well! The lid fits perfectly and is in good vintage condition. There are a few hairline cracks. On the bottom and and a bottom edge(see pics#4-5) The bottom hairline crack does go through to the inside but it is still very solid and not going to break unless you drop it of course: There is also a chip on the top edge(see pic#3) There is some milk white splash on it which you can see in the first pic but I'm confident you can clean that off if you want without damaging the crock finish. For your consideration is a three gallon stoneware preserve jar with a lid. This preserve jar was manufactured by the Robinson Ransbottom Pottery Company. This company was founded in 1856 in Akron. Ohio and was originally known as Johnson, Whitmore and Company. Through a series of mergers, acquisitions and taking on different partners; it became known as Robinson Ransbottom Pottery Company and was located in Roseville, Ohio. This three gallon preserve jar has a"dirty" white exterior, a brown interior and the lid is"dirty" white on the side that is on the interior and on the side that is on the exterior. The crown with the 3 in it was factory applied under clear glaze and cannot be scrubbed or scraped off. There is an applied handle on each side. Grouping of 3 1880's Peoria Pottery Wax Sealer Canning Jars and small galvanized cap lid. All have areas of nice fire sunburst glaze coloring. Pictures 3,4, 5 and 6 are 1/4 turn views. The middle jar has a larger girth and base than the more common size on far right. I have heard some folks call this a"squat" jar. The"Peoria Pottery" mark is weak on the small and squat jar. A poured wax cap with a wire that tucked into edge hole. wire was used to zip open wax top) was a common method to seal this style of jar. A galvanized cap that was also used. The one shown only fits small jar and is snug. Small and regular size jars are free of chips. The squat jar has a bottom edge chip and a inside top rim chip. OLD Antique Stoneware Crock replacement lid 3 1/2 in
Here is an old vintage crock lid. Stone color with a blue ring round it, you can see a little error in the blue ring, it is not chipped or cracked, it actually measures just a hair over 3 1/2 in across the top, the knob is about 1 3/4 across. Antique Stoneware Crock LID ONLY w/Button Handle Brown Glaze Ribbed 3,4,5 Gal
Pleased to offer this beauty of a crock lid. I am not sure which crock maker produced this. It has a wonderful button handle with decorative embossing on it and ribbed pattern around it. Nice brown glaze center on top and interior. Clay exposed on top appears yellow. Embossed with a"3" 3 Gal) but it would possibly work on a 4 or even 5 gallon crock. I had it on a 5 gal and it covered opening. Just didn't extend to outside edge. Check measurements for your crock. PLEASE NOTE: The brown glaze had a white film on it in places(almost like salt or tainted water got on it) I cleaned and applied Linseed oil(not greasy) which restored it's beauty. In the future it may require a re-treatment of oil or polish. Here is a very nice item to add to your country home. Stoneware butter churn that measures about 15"high and the top is 9 1/4" On the front it has Nitary Stoneware then the number 3 in the middle. Does have a lid and there are two numbers on the lid 4 and 8. Not sure how old this butter churn is. It is in very good condition. There are several darker spots/colors on it. On the logo by the N, worn off. The band that is in between the colors on one side looks like it run. Tried to show as much as possible in picture, wear from age. Do not see any cracks or chips on the butter churn. The lid has several chips on it, please look at pictures. Has weight to it, 16 pounds, comes from a smoke-free home. Any question please e-mail me.
