Antique,ceramic,1890's Cold Cream cosmetic crock jar pot lid
You are bidding on an antique. Ceramic, under-glaze transferred cosmetic Jar or"pot lid" as they are known. This little item dates to between 1870-1914. That is the period that we know this design was used by th is compan y of Atkinson's of LONDON. As shown in the pics. The jar displays quite nicely despite an inner flange chip which encroaches slightly to the outer side of the flange(please see pics) some slight burial stain shows on the jar. But not overly so. Antique Vintage 7 3/8" Brown 1 Quart Stoneware Crock Jar with Lid
This stoneware crock came from an auction in Vermont. Unfortunately the lid goes not match the crock. The crock has a nice brown color. There are no cracks. Some light chipping on the top rim, please see all pictures. It measures 7 3/8" tall and 5 1/2" in diameter across the bottom. It holds 8 cups of liquid when full. Nice piece. The shipping cost includes insurance.

WISCONSIN PORCELAIN AMERICAN ART POTTERY MOTTLED BEIGE & GOLD CROCK-JAR & LID A+
Up for auction is a Scarce and Marked. Wisconsin Porcelain Company of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin(1919 to Present) 100% True Heavy Porcelain, American Art Pottery, Crock-Jar and Lid with a Brown Speckled and Mottled Gloss Beige Glaze Application along with Gold Trim in"Near-Mint" Used Condition, Circa 1930s to 1970s(or Possibly Later) which was Manufactured for an Unknown Purpose or Client at the time of this listing. This superb heavy porcelain crock-jar has no chips. Cracks, glaze crazing, scratches, scuffs, stains, repairs or factory flaws of any kind. I've graded its condition as being"Near-Mint" because when you look at the gold trim which was only applied to the lid you will see some tiny specks where some of the gold is either thin or worn away. You can see this close up by using the"Super Size" and"Zoom" ... morefeatures I've provided and you'll also see the worn gold isn't that noticeable. It really doesnt' hurt the aesthetic value of this fine crock, but it must be pointed out for accuracy sake. This jar measures about 3 3/8 inches tall with the lid on and without the lid it measures about 3 inches tall. Across the top it measures about 3 3/4 inches in diameter and the inside top opening is about 3 3/8 inches in diameter. The very bottom was left dry without glaze and it's sightly recessed which leaves a 1/2 inch wide ring base for the piece to rest on. The lid for this jar actually hangs over the top ridge so it measures about 4 7/8 inches in diameter and it's about 1 1/8 inches thick. The mark on the bottom is in-mold and it reads"Wisconsin Porcelain Co. within a recessed circle. This crock-jar was made from a true porcelain and it's a heavy porcelain piece weighing just over 2 pounds at exactly 2 pounds. 1.1 ounces. When you weigh the bottom jar section by itself it weighs 1 pound, 4.7 ounces and the lid by itself weighs 12.4 ounces. Small Brown Beehive Stone Crock Jar with Metal Lid Insert Solid No Cracks. The opening at the top is 2" the metal insert looks like it would come out. It is sitting in there crooked and I'm not going to attempt to remove it. The base is about 5 1/4" and it's about 6 1/2" tall. There are a couple of small chigger bites in the lip which can be seen in the photos. I don't see any cracks in the jar itself although the finish has crackling as would be expected. ANTIQUE 1 GALLON STONEWARE CROCK JAR WITH METAL LID AND CUP UNMARKED
This auction is for an antique 1 gallon stoneware crock jar with original lid and cup. The crock is in great condition. No cracks or breaks. It has a couple little chips along the top edge. But could be mold chips. They look like they've been there for awhile. The lid does have some rust damage, and has a couple spots where it's gone though(pictured) The cup has some rust and has one 1/2" crack(pictured) Measures 10" tall with the cup on it, and 7" wide. Vintage Turn of the Century Stoneware 2 Gallon Pickle Jar Crock with Lid
This is a wonderful turn of the century lidded pickle crock/jar. It is in good condition for its age and original lid. There is wear around the bottom when it sat in moisture most likely an older cellar. The lid does have several chips. However, none that prevents the lid from sealing the top of the jar. It is from the southern Virginia Region and was purchased from the estate of a home from the mid 1800s. It was used in their family and was sold to settle the estate of the owner. Crock is a med to small size about the size of a jumbo pickle jar and very heavy. I bought this at a local flea market. Washed it, and shined it up. It may still need extra cleaning. Perfect for decor any home, add to any collection, or used to hold dry goods. Crock is about 6 inches tall and about 4 inches tall. I thought it was special since it still had a lid. Antique vinage Weir 1901 stoneware pottery fruit jar canning crock lid latch
A vintage stoneware fruit canning jar/crock with lid and metal latch. It measures just shy of 8" tall. There is a chip on the outer rim of the lid of about one half inch in width. And another of about 1/4" in width on the lid on the opposite side of the first chip. please see photos) There is also a small chip on the bottom edge of the jar measuring about 1/4" in width. There are some chips on the underside of the lid(not visible when the jar is assembled) The metal hinge is in good working order. The chips are small and mentioned only to be thorough; this jar displays very well. No hairlines or cracks. There are some minor imperfections such as crazing and skips in the glaze, some of which we are unclear on whether they are manufacturing flaws or occurred later. Vtg Crock Lid Cookie Jar Handpainted Floral Crazing Large Yellowware?
Crock w/lid- measures approx. 9 1/4" high. Across top is approx. 5 7/8" w/the lid diameter being approx. 4 7/8" 7" base diameter. Body is in good condition- some dark spots up around edge. Antique Primitive Very Ornate Art 1800'S Chineese Crock Jar With Lid Markings
This is a very lovely ornate crock that has wonderful art work. There is a gold baked on color base with stunning bright vivid colors and art work. Has detailing of Chinese people that appear to be dancing. Also is abundance floral art patterns. The top has a sword sticking thru a vase surrounded by beautiful colorful flowers. I researched the symbol on the bottom and it appears this was 1890's piece if I'm not mistaken. There are no chips or cracks. The top fits nicely on the crock. Antique YOUNGS Stoneware Canning Jar Crock - Lid says " YOUNGS PAT MAY 27-1902"
Up for auction is an antique Young stoneware crock/ canning Jar. The lid says"YOUNG PAT MAY 27 1902" It has a bail style locking wire and is in perfect condition. The jar has a little chip on the bottom and a couple of other little dings that may be manufacturer marks.Without the lid it is 6& 1/4 inches tall& It is 3& 1/2 inches across the top. The lock works. This is an old stoneware crock jar advertising John Sexton& Co Chicago Illinois. I believe it is either an old fruit jar or pickle jar. In great condition with some minor chips and wear(as seen in pictures) Lid is in good shape. But missing the metal latch for the lid. Not sure of the exact date, but seems to be early 1900's. 11" tall. Beige And Brown Bail Lid Crock Cookie? Jar
The bail wire is missing. I am selling this for a friend that has no idea of its age and there are no maker marks or stickers. This jar measures 8 1/2 inches tall by b 3/4 inches in diameter overall. It holds 8 cups up to the bottom of the brown paint and weighs almost 4 pounds. There is no airtight seal on the lid and no evidence of ever having one so I am not sure what this was used for. Possibly a"child proof cookie jar" There is 1 small chip on the bottom edge of the jar and 4 on the edge of the lid that I will show in the pictures. This is a vintage copenhagen snuff jar. Made in Pittsburg. It is 6.25" tall w/o lid. It has some crazing, mostly on the neck. There is a very small chip and slight rough spot on the lip.
