Heavy crazed thick stoneware crock with"coffee" labeled on the front. The crock has been wired at the top because of the cracks on each side. Crack on one side goes almost to the bottom of crock. The other crack goes about 3/4 of the way down side. Basketweave design over- all with a leaf design on back. This is a great old kitchen primitive. Manufacture is unknown. Crock is 5 1/2"high and 5 inches on the diameter top.

Minn" on the front. This water cooler has 2 metal handles with rust but the handles move well and freely. There is no lid and where the spigot used to be there is now a wooden cork. The Cooler weighs 13 lbs 5 oz. is 12-1/2" tall 9-1/2" across the base and 9-3/4" across the opening, the cork where the spigot used to be measures 1" across. There is a chip along the inside rim of the cooler and a crack on the inside base otherwise the cooler is clean and in good condition. Offering a nice Antique Blue and White stoneware Salt or Butter Crock with Lid. It has a nice two-tone blue& white color on the crock and lid. With blue only on the inside. This has a raised lid, as is often with a salt box or crock. These came marked both as Salt or Butter; also unmarked, as is this one. We think the condition of the crock is good. But please check the pictures for your own determination. It does have a very fine crack on one side, running from the top, 3 in. down the side, not very noticeable; it has only one chip. A tiny flake on the top rim, probably a burst mould bubble. The lid has seen lots of use. It has chips and a fine crack; it does fit nice and tight on it's base. Antique Blue White Salt Glaze Stoneware Large Milk Crock Bail Bowl RARE! Minty!
In the years that I have owned this bowl I have never seen another one. The best I can tell from my internet research and consulting the Collector's Encyclopedia of Salt Glaze Stoneware. This is an Apple Blossom on diamond waffle patterned salt glazed stoneware milk crock. It is missing the bail. Aside from that, this piece is near mint. There is a imperfection in one of the bail ears that appears it may have occurred during the firing process because it looks glazed over. No other cracks, no chips. It measures 10" across(or just under 11.5" from bail ear to ear) 5" high and 6" wide across the base. Milk crocks this size in other patterns are in the book. The molding on this is very sharp and crisp. The apple blossom on diamond waffle is shown on other pieces such as butter and salt crocks, however I cannot find this ... morepattern on this bowl anywhere. If you have ever seen one or have any information on this piece I would love to know more, please message me! This is a blue and white salt crock in the Apple Blossom pattern with a lid from the apricot pattern. The base has a diamond background and there are apple blossoms on each side of the"salt" The lid does not look bad with this base but it is not the apple blossom pattern. It is the apricot. This item measures approximately 5 3/4" to the top of the hanger. It is a beautiful piece but it has been loved over the years and well used. The lid has been repaired and has a few chips. The base does have three cracks and hairline cracks that viewable on the backside, lip of the base and the front side of the hanger and inside the base. Please see pictures. As identified in the Collector's Encyclopedia of Salt Glaze Stoneware. This auction is for a common pattern Daisy And Trellis Butter Holder. It measures 6" wide by 4.75 tall. Mint value $125- $175. There are six large daisies on a close trellis background. This is missing a lid and a bail which it held at one time. Bail holes for this mold were not made to go through to the interior. There is one fine hairline crack on the interior of bail hole placement that extends from top down approx 2.75" it is not visible on outside surface. The opposite bail hole has an old chip on the ear approx 1/2" long. Please refer to pics as details of description of condition and ask any questions before bidding. There is also a small chip at bottom edge. This item stands about 9" tall and the opening at the bottom is 4" across. This will look great sitting among your other crocks. Sorry I do not have the bottom piece that would prevent the water/food from spilling on the floor. I've seen them on ebay. But if you just want item this for display purposes you don't need the bottom piece. This is a very nice looking piece for a collection and I've placed a very reasonable buy it now price on it. Take a look at this old blue and white slat box- actually came from a relative's kitchen and was really used. You can easliy see that it is not perfect and there is no lid. The major problem is that the back loop for hanging has been broken off for years; there is a 1 1/2cm blimish on the upper rim- otherwise. In good condition. Antique Blue & White Spongeware Spatterware Stoneware Bowl with Bail Handle
This bowl is wonderful. The color is a deep blue and the blue is flowing. There is a small chip on the bottom of the rim and a surface crack on the bottom of the extension where the bail handle is attached. There is also a surface crack that runs the width of the rim and an inch down the bowl. It looks like it was there from firing. It has not gone thru the side of the bowl. You can't even see evidence of it when you look at the top of the rim so it is not deep. On the bottom outside of the bowl is an impression of a star. It is in the pottery itself. This is not a repo.

This is one of the cutest small pieces of blue and white stoneware I have ever owned. At one point I acutally had three of these and this is the last one available for sale. It has been in my collection for over 34 years. It is in very good shape and is sound with no chips. It does have a small hairline up by the top of the handle. It appears to be from a spot in the clay that might have happened during firing of the glaze. Normal age and craze lines in surface. Color is very nice and the detail of the bird is excellent. F or your consideration… Vintage Stoneware Salt Box Cellar Glaze Crock in a Blue/White/Gray Color with Embossed Fruit Medallions on the sides and the word SALT across the front in a banner style. There is hole on the top of the back for hanging. No lid. The crock is 5 7/8” across and 4” high on the lower side and 5 ¾” high to the top of the hanging side. The embossed fruit with leaves looks to be either cherries or apricots. There are no maker marks that I can find. It’s heavy. Condition: Very good vintage. There is a chip along the top rim. Glaze pops and misses common to this type of pottery. Glaze misses that are worth noting can be seen in pics along bottom blue band. They are still common type and don't detract. This auction is for an Antique. Primitive, Blue& White Stoneware Butter Crock. The bottom half is white, while the top half and inside has a soft blue color. This is 5.75" diameter and 3.75" tall, making it very displayable on a country kitchen counter or step back cupboard shelf. The butter crock was the normal means of buying butter in the early 1900's. And this is one of the more decorative colors. This is near perfect no cracks. Here is an antique stoneware butter churn with a large bird on the front. There is no wood pole. What is included is what you see in the photos. There are chips on the lid- one large one on the top of the brown glaze edge and some shallow flecks, the rest of it uneven areas appear to be under glaze and original to it. Also there is glaze loss on the handle. The churn itself has chips along the rim and some cracks, pretty much all above the level of the top of the ear handles. The body of the churn and base edge is fine. Measures about 17" tall and it is a bit over 7" across the opening, and at the widest point about 10" across. See photos for condition detail. RARE 1/2 CUP Antique blue & white salt glaze pottery crock bowl BOATS stoneware
VERY RARE 1/2 CUP antique blue& white salt glaze pottery stoneware bowl or crock. Decorated with a scene featuring boats on a waterfront. In the background are trees. A building and perhaps a windmill- the design is quite small. In very good condition for its age! Shallow fleabites along the rims. There is a rough glaze flaw inside the bowl. Other typical glaze flaws here and there(see photos for details) 1.75" tall. 3.5" top diameter, 2.5" base diameter. This bowl has been in my personal collection for almost 40 years. BLUE & WHITE STONEWARE DEER CROCK LID w/4 DEER 8 1/8 DIAMETER & 6 13/16 FITTER
This Crock Stoneware Lid has 4 deer(as opposed to 3 on most of these lids) and is 8 1/8 inches in total diameter. The fitting lip is 6 13/16 outside diameter. If you have a crock you need this lid for it must be less than 6 13/16 total top inside diameter and not larger than 8 1/8 top outside diameter. The pictures are highly accurate and should be used as your guide. Antique wall hanging blue& white stoneware salt crock. No lid, measures 5 7/8" in back diameter is 6" this is in good vintage condition. Has 2 small hairline cracks, 1 in bottom of crock measures 1 1/4" does not go all through to bottom, the other at top rim measures about 1/2" there are indentions that seem to be the way it was molded. They don't seem to be fresh cracks or chips. This is very old& rare.

Antique 19thC Stoneware Butter Crock Blue White, Relief Cows
ANTIQUE BUTTER CROCK WITH BLUE STENCILING AND RELIEF COWS This is a wonderful old antique stoneware butter crock with a wooden handle. The piece has blue paint over gray stoneware and has milk cows in low relief alongside the word. Butter, which appears on each side. The crock is 7-1/8" in diameter and 5" tall. The inside of the lid has some loss of glaze and crazing. The exterior of the lid also has crazing. There is a hairline to the base that seems to start near the base ring and extend up the side of the piece about 2" or so. All this is common for pieces of this age and type. Up for sale is this fantastic Antique primitive bowl. I am not sure if this made of yellow ware or is just antique stoneware. It is done in a white color with three blue bands. The piece measures 4” tall and 9 ½” in diameter. The bowl is in wonderful condition with no chips.
