ANTIQUE- VINTAGE- Brown Glazed Bean Pot This is a Vintage Bean Pot. Which easily holds a gallon of liquid. There is a stamped mark on the bottom. It has the#4 that is easy to see and what appears to be the letters Qt to it's right. The second picture show a white place where the bail is attached. This is NOT a chip, but a flaw in the application of the glaze. It is 7 1/4 inches tall without the lid. It measures 10 inches across the widest part(including the handle) The body is 8 1/2 inches across without the handle. The lid is 5 inches wide and the knob is 1 1/8 inches across. I do not see a manufacture's mark any where. PLEASE ask any or all question"prior to bidding" Thanks and good luck! I can no longer offer parcel post as an option. I boug ht this cute litt le bean pot at an estate sale and have kep t if for awhile hop ing to learn something about it. Maybe you can help. It measures 4 inches across the fat part with a 2 inch op ening and 2 1/2 inches tall. It has a beautiful pu rplish hue to the gla ze. Iridescent inside and out. 1 tiny p aint flake off you have to look for it. No cracks or chips but there is crazing. Very old and unusual spotted clay.WE LOVE TO COMBINE SHIPPING! Antique Boston Baked Beans Crock with lid in excellent condition. The entire piece is glazed and looks new inside and out. There are no chips or cracks. The pot has the Maple Leaf USA mark on the bottom signifying it was produced by the Monmouth Pottery Company. This original vintage antique nice crock bean pot with lid is marked 3 on one side. And 3 quart on the bottom. Part of the 3 is missing from the side, as shown. The bottom white part has a mottled finished, which I do not know much about- is it designed that way or are they flaws? Still, this piece has a lot of character. Lid fits nicely. USA 2 Quart Brown Double Handle Bean Pot with Lid Shiny, Nice & Clean
This is a vintage 2 quart size. Shiny brown glaze, bean pot with lid. It is marked on the unglazed bottom"U.S.A. The pot measures 6 1/2" tall to the top of the lid finial. It is 8" wide from the outside edge of the handle to the outside edge of the handle on the opposite side. It is very clean and shiny and has no chips, cracks, or crazing but does have an area where the glaze is very light on the rim and two areas of glaze flecks, areas that had air bubbles trapped underneath the glaze during the firing process that have flecked off, one area on one handle and the other area is on the side of the pot. There is also a small nib of excess clay trapped in the glaze near the unside rim of the lid. Nice useable addition to your collection. Buyer prepays + shipping via parcel post because of the weight. Description: Here is a nice Robinson Ransbottom one-handled bean pot or crock. This isn’t the typical brown over cream color. This example has a nice carmel color over cream.The lid could be a replacement as it almost looks like a mix of brown and black. The lid is a perfect match to the crock. There is what could be a small chip under the lid but I think it was a casting flaw. Judging from the nice color inside. I do not think that anything was ever baked in this crock, especially beans. look at all my pictures as they are the best way for you to judge color and condition for yourself. It also has the typical Blue Crown logo with a number 2 in it denoting that it is a 2 quart crock. The crown stamp is also crisp and clear and everything about this example screams quality. Very nice creamware pottery crock churn has it's lid and is in very nice condition. There are a couple of minor chips to the bottom edge. And an indent from production at the top. The cold paint is in average condition I guess, for the age, but still very bright and cheery. This piece came from a long time East Tennessee estate. And I can't find anything else quite like it to compare it to, other than pieces that are shown as cookie jars and do not have the handle indents. Any hints as to origin are appreciated. Vtg REDWARE BEAN POT Societe Industrielle EARLY GLAZED CROCK 2 Handles #12 + LID
Offering a very early Redware Bean Pot. It is marked on the inside of the lid"Societe Industrielle" a star Logo and another name I can't make out- ends with espisam) and the number 12. Same marking on the side of the pot. On one side of the pot it is also marked Made in(another word I can't make out) Please enlarge the photos for better detail. The pot and lid are in very clean condition. Photo 8 shows an old chip on the inside of the lid rim. Looks to have been there a long time. The lid measures 9" across the center. 4.5" tall and 8" across the bottom. The inside of the pot has a very high glaze as does the top of the lid. You can see the rings of pottery clay around the bottom- light smudges and brown ring around the bottom. NO cracks. The handles are also very clean and tightly fitted to the pot. ANTIQUE RARE SINGLE HANDLED BROWN STONEWARE BEAN POT? 7 CUPS DECORATIVE LID
FAMILY OWNED- SINGLE HANDLE- 7 CUP- UNUSUAL LID- UNMARKED- BROWN STONEWARE- BEAN POT I am only an inheritor. Not a dealer, nor an expert. All I can tell you is that this item was inherited from my mother-in-law, and that it came through her family. She was born in 1906 and this would have been her mother's. My mother-in-law was not a handy person in the kitchen, so I can't imagine why she would have had this if it hadn't come from her mother. I have tried to research this item and I believe that this would be referred to as"alkaline glaze" There are only 2 tiny chips in the finish(pictures 10& 11) All the rest of the"marks" that the pictures show, are flaws in the glaze and I have tried to show all of them. No, this is not a perfect pot, but I believe that the lid is original to the piece because of the ... morefit and because of the color of the stoneware on the unglazed bottom of both the pot and the lid. I have looked at a ridiculous number of photos of stoneware and can't not find one like this, so I believe that it is unusual to the time. I have no idea if this moved with them from Ohio, or was purchased after they lived in Indiana, and with no maker's mark on it, I have no idea for sure where it was made. It does hold 7 cups when full. But for practical purposes I think they probably did not ever fill it with more than 6 cups. The interior is well glazed with no missing glaze, so obviously it was purchased for it's functionality, not it's beauty. But, now considering it's current age, I think I would call it beautiful. It measures 7" as a base diameter and is about 4 1/2" tall, and weighs 4lbx 4 oz. so it a heavy piece. It needs a new home as we are now of an age that downsizing is inevitable. Vintage Brown and White Stoneware Pottery 3 qt. One Handle Bean Pot w/ Lid
The bean pot has the original lid. There is a flake on the bottom and looks to be a manufactured flaw defect. A tine flake on the inside of the lid. There is a spot in the glaze on the handle where it looks like the glaze didn't stick. See pictures. No cracks no chips. Seems to be in great condition.

Offered for auction is a wonderful antique bean pot. This heavy stoneware crock bean pot has a single handle on one side and the original lid. The bean pot is in very good condition with no chips or cracks including the lid. It shows crazing due to the age. It measures 6 inches tall to the top of the finial on the lid and 7 ½ inches across to the end of the handle. The crock itself is 5 ½ inches tall and 5 ¼ inches in diameter.
