The creamer is 5 1/4" wide from handle to spout x 2" tall, the sugar bowl is 5 3/4" wide from handle to handle x 2 1/2" tall. Both pieces have dolphin handles, the sugar bowl lid has a dolphin on it. There is a raised decoration on the rim of the sugar bowl, you can feel the decoration on the rim of the creamer but the pattern does not stand out. The creamer& sugar bowl has crazing in the glaze and there is some light brown staining in some spots, there is also a small chip on the inside rim of the sugar bowl(see all photos) Otherwise a nice unusual set in nice condition. Mini Antique Sponge ware Crock Creamware With Green And Red Glaze
This small antique crock is 2 and 7/8" high and 5 and 1/4" in diameter. It is a typical yellowish cream ware color. With crazing, especially on the inside. The outside decorated area does not have much visible crazing. There are three kiln marks on the bottom, but no signature or mark. The is a single small chip on the outside of the rim, and a hairline crack on the inside that starts at this chip and drops about halfway into the bowl. No danger of splitting, though. It was artfully decorated with four reddish brown bands and green sponging around the center of the bowl. Quite a decorative small bowl! Posted with

Antique sponge ware bean pot, chicken wire pattern yellow ware
Yellow Ware Bean Pot with Lid. Dating to the late 19th century. This wonderful piece of history features a raised swirl base with brown and teal sponging in the chicken wire pattern. It measures 6" to the top of the knob and is 7" in diameter at its widest point. Some sellers attribute this piece to early Red Wing. The lid has several chips on the inside edge, the largest being 1/4" and a few chips on the outside of the lid, the largest can be seen at the bottom of photo#4. Crazing on almost every surface. Photo#3 shows a 1/4" chip just to the left of the handle and a 5/8" chip at about 10 o'clock. Photo#5 shows a 3/8" chip in the outer rim. The rim chips aren't very noticeable when you look at them from the side. The last three photos shows a 5/8" crack around a thick spot next to the handle, a ... more3/8" chip in the glaze next to a small bump that was in the glaze, and a 1/4" chip in the handle that looks like it was made before the glaze was applied.

Antique sponge ware cooking pot, teal and rust colored designs
This pot is older than your grandma. It was probably sold in the late 1800s. Old crockery pot. Sponge ware or yellow ware, the pattern is chicken wire or smoke ring, but not as clear as some pots. It looks like the sponged on pattern was rinsed before it was fired. It's different, but it's very pretty. The lid came with it, but has a sharper pattern than the crock itself. Possibly Red Wing, but it's unmarked so I can't say for sure. It definitely looks old, with crazing covering every surface. There are a few imperfections in the pottery as well as some chipping around the opening, which I have tried to photograph. It is 6" x 8" including the handle. Set it on your countertop with biscottis or tea bags, or Splenda packets, or coffee pods, or your egg money. It's a good size for storing things in a more interesting ... moreway than plastic.
