It has two twisted handles. The bottom is marked either 801 or 301. Can't quite make it out. I believe this is a hand crafted decorative arts piece. No lid. I have had it for about 15 years ... moreand just used it as a decorative. Condition: very good vintage/ used condition. There are some minor flaws; a flake inside bottom of crock/ pot which can be seen in the pictures. A very minor hairline from top edge; approximately 1-1/4" on the side near one of the handles. Does not reach the handle. Very minor in my opinion. There is some crazing common to a piece of this age. There are some areas of relections in the images, including a grayish cast, sorry. Approximate dimensions: 27" around, just below the handles- 23" around the bottom- 6-1/2" deep- 6-1/4" across the opening- 9-1/4" across handle to handle. This bean pot/ crock is a nice heavy weight. Antique hand thrown pottery bean pot crock measures 6" across and about 6" tall. the bottom is glazed inside and out. The top is glazed on the outside only. There is an embossed stamp on the bottom. It is a diamond shape makers mark with images or printing inside of it that I cannot make out. See photo) If you know what it is. Please feel free to share. I do not know it's origin. It is a lightweight item, not like a heavy stoneware crock. There is a 4" long hairline crack in the cover. I have photographed it from both sides. Other than that I see no flaws other than it's a rather crudely made item that seems to be of considerable age, and has help up very well. Shipping is free.

ANTIQUE NEW ENGLAND PRIMITIVE FARMERS' KITCHEN LIDDED BROWN HANDMADE CLAY STONEWARE POTTERY ONE-HANDLE BEAN-POT CROCK. Old antique handmade farmers' clay stoneware pottery crock has its original lid. It is a one-handled bean pot from a New England farm, and was made that way-handle is undamaged. The clay pot has damage-it has a flattish chip along the side of the top edge(see pics) and it has a crack going vertically down one side which branches below it to a horizontal crack near bottom-I have included close-up pic and several other pics identifying this damage for your inspection, this crock is not vintage but is older and antique(please see pics and be aware of the damage-sold'as is' Perhaps this old bean pot could be re-purposed into another piece or for use in a rustic art project. It measures with handle included approx. ... more8.5" wide x 6.5" tall, has its original lid which is undamaged except for a few smallish flea bites(see pics) and it is original to crock(see pics) On the bottom of the crock it is detailed with creases along the underside edge like a pie crust(see pics)and it is stamped with the words"FIREPROOF" and"ACID PROOF" The lid measures approx. almost 4.5" wide and has its lovely authentic handmade look. This is a nice 1 1/1 quart capacity brown and cream colored stoneware crock/bean pot. Measures 4 1/2 inches in height. There are no markings on it. There are small marks that appears to be from when it was made(see pics for example) No visible damages.

The bean pot has the original lid. There is a flake on the bottom and looks to be a manufactured flaw defect. A tine flake on the inside of the lid. This is an exquisite antique 19th century handmade salt glazed stoneware bean pot. it is completely handmade with nice detailing and has a beautiful hand applied handle. there is a high gloss thick brown salt glaze finish. it has a nice shape and has acquired a lovely patina from age. It has a recessed edge inside the rim to avoid spilling over. it is in very nice antique condition and measures 7 1/2 inches wide by 5 3/4 inches tall. Antique Handmade Stonewear Pottery Bean Pot Brown Crock
Large.Family, bean pot, measures approx 8" tall& 27" around at base. In good condition for age, intact rim w no chips, normal amount of crazing, one exterior I would call a 3" vertical hairline but I can't see it on the inside. Think you could still bake in this but really I would want to keep it like it& try to repurpose. Fantastic storage crock. Really like the short, squat shape. Lid may or may not have been original, it barely fits& has some chips& someone has wired it to the jug(couldn't find my wire cutters) Really nice looking glaze, not drippy but more iridescent.

H ere's an interesting. Vintage, crock product jar. It has a paper label(contained plum pudding) and on the back is an embossed eagle. It measures 3 1/2" tall and 5" wide. I don't know how old this crock is, but my guess is the 1930's. Excellent condition; no chips. Cracks or repairs, thank you.
