USA 2 Quart Brown Double Handle Bean Pot with Lid Shiny, Nice & Clean
This is a vintage 2 quart size. Shiny brown glaze, bean pot with lid. It is marked on the unglazed bottom"U.S.A. The pot measures 6 1/2" tall to the top of the lid finial. It is 8" wide from the outside edge of the handle to the outside edge of the handle on the opposite side. It is very clean and shiny and has no chips, cracks, or crazing but does have an area where the glaze is very light on the rim and two areas of glaze flecks, areas that had air bubbles trapped underneath the glaze during the firing process that have flecked off, one area on one handle and the other area is on the side of the pot. There is also a small nib of excess clay trapped in the glaze near the unside rim of the lid. Nice useable addition to your collection. Buyer prepays + shipping via parcel post because of the weight. This stoneware crock measures about 4 1/2 inches high without the lid and about 6 inches high with the lid on. The base and mouth measure about 4 1/2 inches wide. There are two holes on each side where a metal latch had been. I believe it to be an antique crock. The only markings on the bottom are USA and a number stamped on the base: 31381? last of 6th digit is unrecognizable as it appears smeared) It appears to be in very good shape with the only condition issues being on the underside of the lid with a couple minor rough spots. The crock itself is free of cracks. Chips or breaks. Acquired at an auction. It is a very cute piece.

VTG Calif USA Pottery Stoneware Water Crock Salt Glaze W/Spout Lid Duck Goose NR
This is a vintage Calif. USA Stoneware Pottery water crock with lid and spout/dispenser and a large blue goose on the front of it. I am pretty sure it has a salt glaze on it. But cannot guarantee it is. I think somebody put the duck/goose design on recently in the past 20 years, it is over the glaze and does not have a glaze over it. The dispenser works great, however the lid has been broken and there is a chip at the top opening of the crock(see pictures. There are no cracks that I can see anywhere, and no crazing. It is hallmarked Calif USA on the bottom of the crock and under the lid it is hallmarked 2 N. It measures 10 1/12" tall by 7" at the base and the top opening is 5" wide. I think you could remove the duck/goose fairly easy if you wanted to. This listing is for a very nice hand painted antique stoneware crock with original lid. This is an estate piece and has been left in found condition for those that want the antique patina to remain. There is a marking USA on the bottom of the crock. The crock stands approximately 9 1/2" tall and is 8" wide. There are no cracks or chips in either the crock or lid. Vintage brown/cream salt glazed Stoneware crock w/original center lift knob lid. Straight sides measures approx. 10.25"h x 9.25"diameter. Holds 2 gallons& weighs 14.25 lbs. I believe the manufacturer was the Monmouth Pottery Co. The crock has the letter"M" the number"2" that appears to be hand decorated in cobalt blue. Crock is well over 100 years old and does not leak. There is some crazing on the lid& signs of normal wear throughout. Overall condition is very good.
