Vintage Blue Glaze Stonewear Saltbox w/Matching Lid (RARE) Swastika Design
HTF 19800s Blue Glaze Saltbox with the ma tching lid. This saltbox is 4" tall and 6" across and in very good condition for it's age. It does have a very small chip on the rim of the lid and a chip near the nail h ole where it would have hung on a wall or post. it has the Native American good symbol(swastika) all around the container and also on the lid. Rare Old Stoneware Crock Lid Nice Design 2 or 3 Gallon crock 10" lid
Up for auction today is a Vintage S to neware lid Unknown ma ker and item this goes on. But. I found it on top of a Monmouth 2 Gallon crock, and it fit, but just a bit big and d id not look right. So I am pretty sure it did not go with it-but would assume it would be for a 2 or 3 gallon stoneware crock. Measures just over 1 0.25" diameter and is 8.5" wide at t he insert that goes into the crock. That part is be veled or ang eled. Pre-owned Antique Stoneware Crock Pail Ice Bucket Cooler with Wooden Lid and Homemade bail handle for carrying. Crock measures approx. 9"H x 9"across(not including lid) Has a penquin painted on front sitting on top of ice blocks. Shows signs of wear from age. Crock has what looks like the letter"D" on bottom in blue. Which I guess designates the maker. The crock does not have any cracks or chips that I can find, but look at picture on inside bottom- looks like a hairline but it was in the making of the crock. Crock has a unique handmade bail handle which is showing signs of wear, especially along wooden handle used for carrying. Fabric is fraying. Wooden Lid has a small chip out of rim and what appears to be a water stain on top. This crock may have also been used in making pickles? It reads Compliments of Brush Brothers"The Sanitary Store" Groceries& Hardware, Susquehanna, Pa. High Grade Oleomargarine. It measures 7" tall and 5 5/8" across. It has damage. It has a crack which runs down one side and across the bottom but doesn't reach the opposite side. It has wear and chips. The blue and white stripes have wear. It is not too terribly on the inside for its age.

For auction I have an antique brown 20 gal. Crock lid. The lid is in perfect condition with no cracks or chips. Only issuds you may see are just imperfections from the factory. I dont know what pottery company made this lid because I can't find any markings. Possibly a red wing, fort dodge or western, but I try it on a red wing 20 gallon and it fit perfect although it may vey well fit on other sizes and look just fine. This is a very rare fine from my research. Ive foumd a few 20 gal red wing pedestal crock lids but no where else have a came across a 20 gal brown crock lid, specially one in mint condition. This is an extremely rare lid to a miniature Weir jar crock. It is 2" in diameter on the top and the inner part of bottom that fits into jar is 1 1/4" in diameter. The area the bail sits on is 1" long and 3/4" wide. Has one maker defect glaze skip on top edge but is otherwise excellent. Marked Weir Patent'92. Likely for a horse radish jar.

For auction I have an antique brown Crock lid. The lid is almost perfect condition with no cracks but one small chip. Only on the inside. You may see other imperfections but there from the factory. I dont know what pottery company made this lid because I can't find any markings. Possibly a red wing, fort dodge or western. As far as what size it fits i cant tell you for sure im guessing 6 8 10 or 12gal. Best thing to do is measure your crock then look at where I have my tape measure laid out on the lid and see if you get a close match. Long as its close it will most likely work for you. Rare. Antique, stoneware crock with glass lid, marked"Pat June 24, 1884" The crock measures 7 inches tall and is 5 inches diameter(wide) at base. The crock is in extremely good condition for it's very old age, with no chips, breaks or cracks. The glass lid has a few glass chips on the underside of glass but not noticeable at all especially when the lid is on and is marked and has a glass straw mark, from the making of the glass. Vintage Advertising Craft Old English Cheese Crock w/ Lid, Great Condition, Rare
Offered for your consideration is this original and rare Kraft Old English cheese crock. This is a very unusual and rare item. I have never seen one and could not find one of the internet anymore. It is in great condition with no cracks or chips. It retains most of it's original label. Which features two English gentlemen in red coat enjoying some cheese and what looks like mugs of ale. The label has some scuffs and separation(See Pictures. It is quite large at 6 1/2" in diameter and 7" tall with the lid. It is very heavy at 4 lbs 14 oz. Rare Antique 4 Gal. Salt Glaze Double Handle Stoneware Butter Churn Plunger Lid
This is a large heavy butter churn with an incised 4(4 gallon? but there are no other markings. Churn stands approx 15" high x 10" wide. And outer rim is 8" inner rim opening 6 1/2" The wooden paddle pole is pretty old, disc area is a little warped, and you can see some splits in the wood but is definately old! The rim has a shallow chip( it is smooth, not sure if it is from wear. Please review all 12 photo's and message us with any questions. Will pack in 2 separate packages due to the weight of the crock. Rare Antique Norton & Fenton #4 Decorated Crock + Lid Upside Down Stamp one chip
This rare Norton& Fenton#4 cobalt decorated crock with applied handles and perfect lid is very unusual because the stamp is upside down! Now the obvious– it has a 1– 2” rim chip– it is clean and looks relatively new so it would be a good candidate for restoration. See the pictures. Otherwise this large storage crock and its lid are in perfect condition– no cracks. Chips, stains, discoloration, or repairs. I collect and sell stoneware and have not seen many(that I can afford! so otherwise flawless. This had to be made between 1842 or 43 and 1845 because that was the time Norton& Fenton were partners and before the pottery burned in 1845. And the partnership was dissolved. ANTIQUE RARE SINGLE HANDLED BROWN STONEWARE BEAN POT? 7 CUPS DECORATIVE LID
FAMILY OWNED- SINGLE HANDLE- 7 CUP- UNUSUAL LID- UNMARKED- BROWN STONEWARE- BEAN POT I am only an inheritor. Not a dealer, nor an expert. All I can tell you is that this item was inherited from my mother-in-law, and that it came through her family. She was born in 1906 and this would have been her mother's. My mother-in-law was not a handy person in the kitchen, so I can't imagine why she would have had this if it hadn't come from her mother. I have tried to research this item and I believe that this would be referred to as"alkaline glaze" There are only 2 tiny chips in the finish(pictures 10& 11) All the rest of the"marks" that the pictures show, are flaws in the glaze and I have tried to show all of them. No, this is not a perfect pot, but I believe that the lid is original to the piece because of the ... morefit and because of the color of the stoneware on the unglazed bottom of both the pot and the lid. I have looked at a ridiculous number of photos of stoneware and can't not find one like this, so I believe that it is unusual to the time. I have no idea if this moved with them from Ohio, or was purchased after they lived in Indiana, and with no maker's mark on it, I have no idea for sure where it was made. It does hold 7 cups when full. But for practical purposes I think they probably did not ever fill it with more than 6 cups. The interior is well glazed with no missing glaze, so obviously it was purchased for it's functionality, not it's beauty. But, now considering it's current age, I think I would call it beautiful. It measures 7" as a base diameter and is about 4 1/2" tall, and weighs 4lbx 4 oz. so it a heavy piece. It needs a new home as we are now of an age that downsizing is inevitable. And 5" High Weight: about 2 lb. 8 oz. Well. This is an interesting crock. It has a rare blue lid, and I say rare, because I can't find another one listed on EBAY anywhere. It says copyright 1933, but I'm not sure if that actually means it was made in 1933. I can tell you it had ALOT of dust on it, when I bought it. I washed it by hand. And am pleased to tell you there are no chips, cracks or crazing. There is one spot on the side of the lid, where the blue didn't quite get all the way painted. I tried to show that in picture# 7. It has a crank handle to crank the lid down tight and a rubber gasket to seal the container. It is very heavy. This crock is in great condition having no chips. Cracks or excessive wear. It measures approximately 12" in diameter and approximatley 10" high and 13" high at top of crank handle. I'm not sure what this was used for. It could have been used in a restaurant to keep oysters on ice or on a ship or fishing boat. It is a very nice piece to add to your collection or decorate your nautical home with.
