Antique Vintage 7 3/8" Brown 1 Quart Stoneware Crock Jar with Lid
This stoneware crock came from an auction in Vermont. Unfortunately the lid goes not match the crock. The crock has a nice brown color. There are no cracks. Some light chipping on the top rim, please see all pictures. It measures 7 3/8" tall and 5 1/2" in diameter across the bottom. It holds 8 cups of liquid when full. Nice piece. The white spots are not paint just part of the finish. Has a 3/4 inch gouge on onse side. Slight crack at base of knob about one inch and knob is chipped but done during manufacture as it is covered over. Center does not have glazed finish. Perhaps it sat on something during glazing. Vintage Or Antique 7" Dark Brown Glazed Stoneware Crock-Wide Mouth-No Lid
This dark brown vintage/antique glazed stoneware crock has an interesting shape. Different from most. It stands 7” high. Is 5 7/8” across the bottom and 4 1/2” across at the top opening. It is in very good condition. There is one small chip at the base. Almost invisible unless turned upside down. There is an interesting effect on one side where it looks like the glazing was applied unevenly. With some of the stoneware surface still showing through. There is no lid.

Harsch Gartopf 7.5 Liter Sauerkraut Fermenting Crock Pot w/ weights and lid
Make your own healthful sauerkraut using this Harsch Gartopf 7.5 liter Fermenting Crock Complete with lid. Weights, and instructions! The Harsch/Gartopf fermenting crock is a quality crafted piece imported from Germany. The stoneware is fired at 1200 degrees Celsius and finished with a lead-free glaze. This crock includes a ceramic cover which fits perfectly over the top and has a special cast gutter in the rim creating a seamless airlock. Gases from the fermentation can escape easily but air is not able to enter. The ingenious design of this crock allows gases from the fermenting process to escape while preventing mold from getting in. These are much sought-after. Especially since they are discontinued. Vintage Or Antique 7 1/8" Light Beige Glazed Stoneware Crock-No Lid or Handle
This small vintage light beige crock stands about 7 1/8” high and is approx. 4” in diameter across the base. It originally had a top and handle– the holes are visible where the wire handle attached. The holes do not go all the way through the side. The piece is in very good condition. With no chips or cracks. There is some light crazing of the glazed surface. It has very thick sides and is quite heavy for its size- nearly 3 lbs. I will ship it either USPS or FedEx. Depending on which is cheaper to your location. This auction is for a wonderful old antique stoneware crock lid. It is approx.7" across the diameter and where the underside rim is would fit a 6" opening. It has a button knob in the center. There are some color variations in the glaze and some edge roughness on the outer rim( I think just from the molding process) There is a glaze pop on the bottom near the center. I can find no cracks in this great old lid. Great for a replacement or just to display with other stoneware pieces. We purchased it at an antique farm estate auction in Western Pennsylvania. ANTIQUE RARE SINGLE HANDLED BROWN STONEWARE BEAN POT? 7 CUPS DECORATIVE LID
FAMILY OWNED- SINGLE HANDLE- 7 CUP- UNUSUAL LID- UNMARKED- BROWN STONEWARE- BEAN POT I am only an inheritor. Not a dealer, nor an expert. All I can tell you is that this item was inherited from my mother-in-law, and that it came through her family. She was born in 1906 and this would have been her mother's. My mother-in-law was not a handy person in the kitchen, so I can't imagine why she would have had this if it hadn't come from her mother. I have tried to research this item and I believe that this would be referred to as"alkaline glaze" There are only 2 tiny chips in the finish(pictures 10& 11) All the rest of the"marks" that the pictures show, are flaws in the glaze and I have tried to show all of them. No, this is not a perfect pot, but I believe that the lid is original to the piece because of the ... morefit and because of the color of the stoneware on the unglazed bottom of both the pot and the lid. I have looked at a ridiculous number of photos of stoneware and can't not find one like this, so I believe that it is unusual to the time. I have no idea if this moved with them from Ohio, or was purchased after they lived in Indiana, and with no maker's mark on it, I have no idea for sure where it was made. It does hold 7 cups when full. But for practical purposes I think they probably did not ever fill it with more than 6 cups. The interior is well glazed with no missing glaze, so obviously it was purchased for it's functionality, not it's beauty. But, now considering it's current age, I think I would call it beautiful. It measures 7" as a base diameter and is about 4 1/2" tall, and weighs 4lbx 4 oz. so it a heavy piece. It needs a new home as we are now of an age that downsizing is inevitable. VINTAGE Hard To Find 7 Quart VULCANIA ITALY COOKING POT WITH LID
For your consideration is this 7 Quart Vulcania Bean or Cooking Pot with Original Signed Lid. This terra cotta pot is fashioned from the volcanic soil of Tuscany- and it conducts heat wonderfully(the company's been doing its thing since 1911) It features a round belly with a narrow opening to help keep the liquid and heat inside where it's needed. The exterior has a beautiful shiny glaze and is a deep rich brown with sculptured handles for ease of use. The interior is light reddish brown with a nice high gloss glaze. It is in great vintage condition with minimal wear. There are no chips or repairs. The pot measures 11 3/4" in diameter and stand 5 3/4" tall without the lid. vintage stoneware salt glazed crock lid raised notched or lined design around front of lid front is light to medium blue in color back is more of a cream shade/gray shade measures 7 5/8 inches in diameter condition is good. there are some flaws- handle/knob has hairline cracks around it(it is intact) there are 2 chips on underside of rim. also a few areas of pin pops. Antique Vintage Stoneware Crock Lid - Brown Glaze 1-2 Gallon 7" Inside Diameter
I have an antique stoneware crock lid that needs a match. Lid measures 7" in diameter on the inside rim and is 8 1/2" in diameter to the outside edge. Lid is in very good condition with only a couple small chips on the inside rim. This piece was part of a collection I recently acquired from a local Northern Virginia Estate so if you like this sort of thing please see my other listings.
