Up for sale is an Antique whiskey? apple cider Jug/ Crock Jug. It measures 9" tall by 7 1/2" wide by itself. Its 12 1/2" tall with the handle up. This is a great looking jug but it does have a few issues. there is the chip on the lip of the spout, it only shows on the one side you can spin it around for display and it does not show. Also there is a chip on the bottoms edge. the handle has weather wear to it like sun rot, and the wire is rusted but the handle is still working fine. this is a great jug and it has a great look. it needs a big cork for the top and its ready for display. please email with any questions, I have 4 more of these type jugs listed now in my store, thank you.

Cleaning out my cabinets and discovered this crock tucked away in a box. It measures 8" tall. 5' opening.6" total diameter of top opening.Excluding the handle, the circumference is 28"The handle is another 9" long and is 2 1/2 inches from the crock.There are no chips or crazing on this crock. It can both serve as a jug or a storage crock.It weighs about 6 1/2 lbs as is before packaging. I have had it now for well over 10 years and it was originally purchased in upstate NY at a tag sale. It really is a nice looking piece.

USA 2 Quart Brown Double Handle Bean Pot with Lid Shiny, Nice & Clean
This is a vintage 2 quart size. Shiny brown glaze, bean pot with lid. It is marked on the unglazed bottom"U.S.A. The pot measures 6 1/2" tall to the top of the lid finial. It is 8" wide from the outside edge of the handle to the outside edge of the handle on the opposite side. It is very clean and shiny and has no chips, cracks, or crazing but does have an area where the glaze is very light on the rim and two areas of glaze flecks, areas that had air bubbles trapped underneath the glaze during the firing process that have flecked off, one area on one handle and the other area is on the side of the pot. There is also a small nib of excess clay trapped in the glaze near the unside rim of the lid. Nice useable addition to your collection. Buyer prepays + shipping via parcel post because of the weight. Pleased to offer this beauty of a crock lid. I am not sure which crock maker produced this. It has a wonderful button handle with decorative embossing on it and ribbed pattern around it. Nice brown glaze center on top and interior. Clay exposed on top appears yellow. Embossed with a"3" 3 Gal) but it would possibly work on a 4 or even 5 gallon crock. I had it on a 5 gal and it covered opening. Just didn't extend to outside edge. Check measurements for your crock. PLEASE NOTE: The brown glaze had a white film on it in places(almost like salt or tainted water got on it) I cleaned and applied Linseed oil(not greasy) which restored it's beauty. Antique Stoneware E W Farrington Crock Jug with Handle Elmira New York Brown Bird Image 1 Gallon? Note: All items in our store include NO sales tax to our US customers! Here is a great antique stoneware crock/jug for your buying consideration. Recently acquired it at an estate sale. Would make a great gift or keep it for yourself. This piece is probably from the later 1800s to early 1900s period. The crock/jug was made by E W Farrington of Elmira NY. The jug has one handle and is most likely of a one gallon size. I do not see or hear(when thump it) any indication of cracks in the jug. A couple of places on the side of the crock where something seems to be stuck on the crock. Not any glaze loss there. There is a chip on the outside lip of the jug opening just above the place where the name of the jug maker is impressed into the jug. Two other ... morechips on the the handle and I can see a hairline crack that runs between the two handle chips. There are some marks on the bottom of the crock where appears to have been some staining and loss of the glaze took place from what sitting on. Various wear and stain marks over the jug surface. There is some sort of chip of the glaze over the"ing" in Farrington as well. The image of the bird is interesting. Not sure if the image was originally on the jug or put on later. I did some brief research online and did not find a Farrington jug with a brown image on it. I certainly saw Farrington bird images. But in cobalt blue. Similar birds image wise online were referred to as whippets, yes a bird not the dog version. There is a fleck of cobalt blue just above the bird's head. The jug is 11" tall. By 6-7/8" across by handle. The jug is 7" across without the handle. The opening is 7/8" across on the inside and 1.75" on the outside. I would guess that this jug is a one gallon size. These are two Fantastic Little Old Stoneware Crocks! The wire handled one~ measures approximately 5" tall. 4 3/4" across the bottom, is gray, and glazed inside and out, except for the bottom. It is not marked and does not have a lid. Most of the black paint on the wood handle has worn with age and use. Leaving the natural wood grains showing. There are a few bumps and other various marks under the glaze from manufacturing. There are No chips or cracks but it does have a antique crazing. This is a wonderful piece of primitive crockware. The wood and wire bale handle is sturdy and in very nice vintage condition. The interior is highly glazed in a rich chocolate. The exterior is an unglazed yellow band with a cream/ off white base setting on 4 feet. Approximately 9 5/8" diameter x 5" tall without bale x 9 3/4" tall with bale. As you can see in the photo. There are some small chips on the interior not unusual for a piece of this age. The feet are in very nice condition and the bowl itself is in very nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. This is a very cool item. A double handled glazed Scrock that might be called a"bean pot" This was definitely not a mass produced item. I estimate it as circa 1900. Description of Condition: See photos above. Excellent used condition. There is NO lid. No chips or cracks. As shown in photo# 6. There are some small defects in the glaze near the bottom rim, on the side OPPOSITE the one that has the number"3" on it. They are not visible when the pot is displayed to show the number"3" These defects appear to me to be original production flaws, not any acquired damage. The upper rim and the base are not glazed. There are no markings that would identify the maker of this crock. Approximate measurements: Height is 6.25 inches. Base has 7 inch diameter. Mouth diameter is 6.25 inches. Offered for auction is a wonderful antique bean pot. This heavy stoneware crock bean pot has a single handle on one side and the original lid. The bean pot is in very good condition with no chips or cracks including the lid. It shows crazing due to the age. It measures 6 inches tall to the top of the finial on the lid and 7 ½ inches across to the end of the handle. The crock itself is 5 ½ inches tall and 5 ¼ inches in diameter. This is an exquisite antique 19th century handmade salt glazed stoneware bean pot. it is completely handmade with nice detailing and has a beautiful hand applied handle. there is a high gloss thick brown salt glaze finish. it has a nice shape and has acquired a lovely patina from age. It has a recessed edge inside the rim to avoid spilling over. it is in very nice antique condition and measures 7 1/2 inches wide by 5 3/4 inches tall. Nice medium-sized vintage or antique stoneware crock in a warm caramel brown gloss glaze. Rounded shape with lid and one handle. Lid is a darker shade of brown. So it may not be original to the piece. Measures approx. 4.5" tall and 5" in diameter across the base. there is a fracture/crack that runs almost entirely around the crock near the base(see photos for details) Otherwise, no major condition issues or damage.

Lid may not be original to the piece(I got this at an estate auction) As it is a much lighter color glaze, more like a caramel. Unmarked on bottom; maker not known. Looks like it might hold 1-2 quarts. This piece measures approx. 5" tall and 5" in diameter across the base, giving it a full, rounded shape. There are some bare spots, running, and bumps in the glaze that appear to be original to manufacture. Otherwise, no major chips, cracks, fractures, crazing, or other damage.
