It measures just shy of 12.5" tall and the ... moretop is about 7.25" across. Not a hairline to be found anywhere, only some rim chips- the largest measuring just over half an inch in length, just right of center on the top rim. Two more which are very tiny- both toward the back on the inner rim, less than a quarter inch each. There is wear to the blue decoration, but the stenciling is plenty legible. There is also some yellowish staining on either side of the crock. Other minor imperfections such as tiny dings and glaze skips, of which we are unsure whether they occurred in manufacturing. Displays very well and structurally sound. Please view the images for condition details. As they are part of the description and they are of the actual item you will receive. Mainly known as a ceramic designer and as the artistic leader of the Gustavsberg porcelain factory. Kåge studied decorative painting at Tekniska skolan in Stockholm and later for the painter Carl W. Wilhelmson in Gothenburg. Johan Rodhe in Copenhagen and at Plakatschule in Munich, where he learnt graphic techniques. His early career was dedicated to advertising and the production of posters. But his best known work was in ceramics, begun when he was appointed artistic leader of Gustavsberg in 1917, remaining there until 1949, when he was succeeded by Stig Lindberg. The focus of Kåge's early ceramic designs. Up for auction is a 3 gal. Eagle crock. In good condition. Crock has some staining, and discoloration, and some light spotting over front. Crock is in very good condition, 1 tooling mark on top rim, a hairline crack along the side of mark, running down approx. 3 inches, also 1 hairline running from bottom up, approx. 7 inches, and about 1 inch on bottom, and 2 inches another way on bottom. Very solid, crock does ping. Some minor roughness around inner rim, handles are in good condition, a little roughness. Normal ware and tear. BLUE DECORATED VIRGINIA VALLEY POTTERY
You are bidding on a blue decorated Virginia Valley preserve jar/crock embossed with the number 1 near the top of the crock and the letters W. H. LEHEW& Co. Strasburg, Va. The crock measures 9 1/2 inches tall and a diameter of 6 1/2 inches. As noted in the photos there is a hairline fracture on the front of the crock as well as several chips, mentioned for accuracy. Offered is the pictured FH Cowden 2 gallon crock. The crock has a hairline crack that runs from the lip down about 2/3 of the way to the bottom. The crack is directly in the back of the crock 180 from the decoration. The crock also has a few chips all of which are pictured. The crock has a very clean. Crisp, stenciled design and a wonderful even coloration and displays wonderfully as can be seen.

This crock is signed with a script signature on the bottom that I can't make out but it is dated 1986. Great grey speckled pottery with a single blue band and the top and what looks like a pumpkin( on the front. Also. At the bottom edge there is a symbol of some kind that may mean something. Excellent shape it measures 6 1/4" across the top and is 5 1/2" tall. Great shape with no chips or cracks. Has one small chip on the base but very shallow. Has the obvious crack that has been stabilized with an old piece of wire that appears to have been there for some time. No chips other than the one on the base and the crack appears to have come out of nowhere. It may have come out of the kiln this way. Still very solid and heavy with a great rare decoration. No Reserve, Free Shipping This is a handsome antique blue decorated stoneware pottery ice water cooler crafted by the Fulper Pottery Company of Flemington. New Jersey in the 19th century. The large cooler was a very popular crock with spigot produced by Fulper as it had a patented Germ-proof filter. This was an important development as public water supplies were not always reliably sanitary. This cooler became a fixture in offices, railroad stations, and schools all over the United States. It is Numbered 5, and is marked as an Improved Sanitary Water Cooler on the back side as pictured. In overall very good condition with scattered losses to the glaze as pictured. Antique Western Pottery Signed M B Morrison 22 Hand Decorated Crock Vase
Antique early 1900's Vase signed MB Morrison-22. Believe the 22 to be the date 1922? The vase is very worn but is 92 years old. Has 3 chips 2 on the bottom rim and one on the top rim. The vase measures approximately 14 inches tall, 6 inches in diameter at the base and 5 inches in diameter at the top. Will package the vase up carefully to insure safe arrival.
