This is a Vintage Blue Crown 2 Gallon Stoneware water Cooler Crock With Lid A nd Sp igot. Th is is a cool old crock. I do not know it's exact age. I t looks like the lid may be a replacement but I cannot tell for sure. The spigot is pla stic and the interior of the cr ock and lid are immaculate so your guess as to the age of this is as good as mine. This would make a big hit on your Thanksgiving beverage table or next summer picnic. The exterior of the crock has quite a bit of crazing and also has a yellowi sh discoloration of the glaze. i do not know if it could be cleaned off but I do know it adds to the character of the item. This is a lovely Antique Early 20th Century 2-Gallon CROWN“Cobalt Blue” Banded in Mint Condition. The crock has no lid or spigot. The crock is clearly marked with the CROWN logo and 2 Gallon size number in the same Cobalt Blue as the band at its center. The Crock is in Mint Condition with no breaks. Chips, cracks or crazing- not even a hairline or nick. It is absolutely pristine. I have never seen another crock with this many decorative“Cobalt Blue” bands. There are 6 of them encircling the crock, each 1/2” wide, 1 at the top, 1 at the bottom and 2 sets 2 on each side of the center. The crock measures 7-1/2” across the top, curving outward to 9” across its bulbous center and narrowing to 8” across the base and stands 11-3/4” high. The stoneware is 1/2” thick. The inside measurement at the top is 6-5/8” and the spigot hole is 3/4” The crock ... morehas a“fired” glaze over its natural off-white stoneware and cobalt blue colors. Offered is this vintage or antique dark brown and beige glazed stoneware“beanpot” crock with handle and lid. The crock features a blue crown and“2” stamped on the front and is marked“ USA” on the bottom. The crock sits about 6 1/4” high. Including the lid and is approx. 7 1/2” across, including the handle. It holds 2 quarts of liquid(actually about 4 oz. more if filled completely to the rim) It is in very good condition; the only problem is a very small(about 1/4” chip on the edge of the top side of the lid. This chipped area is slightly larger on the underside of the lid.

This example has a nice carmel color over cream.The lid could be a replacement as it almost looks like a mix of brown and black. The lid is a perfect match to the crock. There is what could be a small chip under the lid but I think it was a casting flaw. Judging from the nice color inside. Blue Crown 2 Gallon Water Cooler with Metal Spigot
For sale is a beautiful Blue Crown Crockery water cooler with spigot. The Blue Crown mark on this almost pristine crock is incised as well as printed and is the most awesome cobalt blue. The interior of the crock is almost spotless except for very minor surface stain marks on the bottom. Other than that there are no cracks. Chips or any other damage. There is no discoloration to the exterior of the crock, which is something I have seen on other water coolers.The spigot is shiny silver metal and very attractive. The exterior of the crock has very light surface crazing which is barely noticeable. The blue bands on the lid and body of crock are gorgeous cobalt blue with no wear whatsoever. The crock is 15" high without the lid. The lid is 8 1/2" in diameter. It weighs just over 16 pounds so is a very substantial piece. I got this at ... morean auction where there were lots of great finds that looked like they had been stored and never used. I believe that is true of this crock but can't be absolutely sure. It is post-1940 but I don't know the exact age. If you are a collector of Blue Crown pottery. Or just want a cooler for your patio parties you will love this great looking piece!

Vintage Blue Crown #2 Stoneware Water Crock w/ Metal Spout No Lid Farm Kitchen
This is a very nice old Robinson Ransbottom Brothers. 2 gallon, crock water/ Wine Cooler which is in excellent condition. There are no chips. Cracks, nothing, just greatness! This cooler is in good shape and would be a fine piece at an wedding or fancy affair or just a good ole picnic. There are no chips or cracks and the spigot has been cleaned and new gaskets installed so it is watertight. There are no marking on the base but when doing research. Seems the crown is a mark from the Robinson Ransbottom Brothers company. I have no lid for this but you could use a stoneware plate or leave open to use as a pretty planter if you don't want to use for purpose intended. Large. 2 gallon size rustic, glazed transferware advertising crock in cream color, brown script and border design. There are no cracks, or chips! Very old but in pristine shape. Bottom marking states: 2 GAL indented into the stoneware with a makers mark of: Crown Stoneware. Measures 6 1/2" tall, 6" diameter. The advertising on the front says"Grand Medal for Marmalade James Carberry Marmalade. London England" There is a holly leaf wreath design around the advertising, all in a brown font. Antique Blue Crown Robinson-Ransbottom Pottery Pickle Crock 2 Gallon Stoneware
This old crock was found in a corner of a basement. Where it had been stored for decades. I don't know for sure when it was manufactured, but from other postings here, I gather that Ransbottom and Robinson-Ransbottom. made crocks like this early in the 20tieth century. It is approximately 9 inches high and 9 1/4 inches in diameter. It is heavy. You can pick it up locally to save on the shipping costs. This was obviously used. It is dirty both inside and out. Even after an attempt to clean it. There is some damage to the glaze under the 2 where the crazing is causing some minor flaking off. Please look at the pictures. This is heavy and will not be the easiest thing to pack and ship.I would prefer a local pick up. For something this heavy. I am also stating no returns,unless I have made a mistake in my description,because of the shipping ... morecosts. Of course, if it is picked up locally, there will be the opportunity to inspect it. EARLY 20TH CENTURY 2 GALLON BLUE CROWN STONEWARE CROCK
Up for bid is an early 20th century stoneware crock. It is a 2 gallon with the blue crown design. It is 9" tall and 9 1/2" in diameter. It has some kiln blisters on the outside. This is fairly common with this type of crock. There is no damage other than the blisters. It has a later wooden lid. Shipping will be $20, no international shipping.

THIS LOT HAS 2 CONDITION ISSUES: Lid has 2" chip missing, Spout leaks, Dispenser measures 14 1/2" H with a base diameter of 8 1/4" The top diameter opening is 7" The two pieces weigh 18 pounds prior to packaging. Nice Vintage Antique Water Cooler by Robinson Ransbottom Crown Pottery. Marked with#2 on the crown marking. The water cooler is in good condition and clean with no cracks. The water spigot is metal. The lid is flat and looks great too. Please see pictures for complete condition details. It is natural beige colored with 2 Royal Blue painted rings around it. The cooler is marked"USA" on the bottom. It measures approximately 12" tall. It has a 7" inner diameter and 9" outer diameter. It is weighs about 17 pounds. I believe this to be early to mid 1900s. Vintage Antique Brown Stoneware Crock Bean Pot Stamped Blue Crown 2 on Bottom
Nice old stoneware crock in a glossy dark brown glaze. Stamped on bottom with Crown logo and"2" in blue(or greenish blue) ink. One handle and a lid. Lid may not be original to the piece(I got this at an estate auction) As it is a much lighter color glaze, more like a caramel. Lid also has a large chip. Looks like it might hold 2 quarts. This piece measures approx. 5.5" tall and 5" in diameter across the base, giving it a full, rounded shape. There are some bare spots, running, and bumps in the glaze that appear to be original to manufacture. Otherwise, no major chips, cracks, fractures, crazing, or other damage.
