Art Pottery White Clay Ceramic Glazed Ashtray by Plymouth Products Co. The design and slots on this ashtray makes it good for either cigars or cigarettes. Made with white clay and appears to be vitrified fired. City zone codes were used from 1943 to around 1963. The date is further narrowed down by the Plymouth Products listing in Lois Lehner's Encyclopedia of U.S. Marks which reads in part: Plymouth Products was listed for one year in the 1959 Pennsylvania Industrial Directory at 1501 N. 59th Street. They were not listed 1956 or 1962 which were my directories closest to the 1959 date.

Antique Douglass Clay Products Co Anomaly 1 Gallon Water Jug-Rare
This is an antique Douglass Clay Product Co 1 gallon water jug. The Douglass Clay Product Co in Los Angeles. CA operated from 1903-1910 when it was bought out by another company, but they continued to make vessels after this time, but apparently under that company's name. The clay products in the LA area were so good due to the exceptionally fine clay found in Southern California. This one has a logo for Douglass that we have not seen anywhere else. The jug also has anomalies that occurred in the manufacturing of the jug, making it doubly unique. There is a small hole in side of jug that someone tried to tape over. I have not removed this tape. There is a chip on top rim, several small chips in bottom edge, few chips on bottom and some coloring is coming off the top rim. The handle has a few small chips. I tried to photograph the defects, ... morebut feel free to ask for more photos if you'd like. Great decorating piece and cool historical piece. It is 11 inches tall and about 8 inches in diameter. Robinson Clay Products Company of Akron Ohio was founded in 1856 by Thomas Robinson. Richard Whitmore, and Thomas Johnson. The company manufactured sewer pipes, tile, brick, and many other clay products. The factory later burned destroying its valuable wooden forms as was used to make this set. This is a very early set and at the time that I purchased it back in 1983 from an auction in New York. It was supposed to be one of only two complete sets in existence. I have never verified this, but to date I still have only found 2 of the pieces from the set being sold, and have never seen or heard ... moreof a complete set. I would be very interested to hear from anyone having another complete set. The set has some chips on the tops of two of the pieces. But none that I’m aware of on the bottom main part of the canisters themselves. There are no cracks that I’m aware of either. Overall I would rate the color as very good with very little, if any, fading. Cameron Clay Products Vintage Figural Pottery Pink Lamb Planter
This is for a very nice figural pink lamb planter. I've been told this is from a pottery called Cameron Clay Products. The lamb has a bow tie on it's side of it's neck. It's in good shape with only one chip on it's front foot. The lamb measures 6" tall and is around 6" long. It would make a wonderful addition to any collection. They are hand painted in a vine pattern in turquoise on orange. These plates measure 9” in diameter. The bottoms are marked“Pacific C11” These are used items in good condition! They do have some use scratches and a few factory bumps. One dish has some glaze pops on the bottom. As you’d expect from hand painted items. The pattern does differ. Kathys Vintage Kitchen Rose Pink circa 1940s Sevilla Tea Pot made by Cameron Clay Products. Cameron W.Va from very late 1930s to early 1950s. these pieces were usually unmarked as this one is and they are often mistaken for Fiestaware due to similar concentric rings. Note spout and handles are of different design than the Fiesta teapot) however. They were produced for a much shorter time than Fiestaware. This piece is in very good vintage condition and could be used. It has crazing(which I love! There is an irregular bit of clay fired in place on the inside which I tried to picture for you. Its only true flaw is a small chip in the glaze inside the lid which is pictured and does not affect its function nor its beauty. This item will be carefully packed and insured for shipping.

This is 24K weeping gold over a sort of turquoise color of rock and even underneath the panther. You can see the color through some of the thinner areas of gold. This is a lovely piece. This one, I understand, is harder to find than the panthers that have the planter in its back. This measures about 9 1/2" long. CONDITION: There are some areas where the gold is thin. There is no other damage, repairs or factory defects. Age Circa 1902. Which was the beginning of the Robinson Clay Product, Co. and consistent with the completion of the Flatiron Building that same year. Measurements 8 ½” tall 6” Bottom Diameter 5” Top Diameter Item’s weight– 3 lb. 6 oz. Weight including. Packing and box– 5-6 lbs. max. But I believe this one is an original, possibly a first production run. First. The stamp on the bottom was double stamped and there is only a capital“A” for Akron, ... moreOhio, where the factory was located. Others have all kinds of companies and other writing on the bottom, testament to their later production and replication. Second. The color is the best I have seen. The blue is right where it should be throughout. I have seen some later examples that are hideous in how much blue was used and how it bled outside of the images. Especially Fannie Flagg. Sometimes the overuse of blue in her eyes can make her look like a ghoul at best; if not completely obliterate any facial features or expression. It is too bad it has a light. Hairline crack, otherwise it would be perfect. The hairline is solid and doesn’t appear to be a problem. I’m not sure when that happened. Considering most of these have some degree of chipping. Especially around the spout, this is a really nice, well cared for, early example of a classic pitcher. Wish I had the matching mug to go with it but I don’t. Antique stoneware jug made by the Robinson Clay Products Co. founded in Akron. Ohio in 1856. The one gallon jug is decorated with a very artistic design with 2 sets of blue bands seperated with a white band in the middle. This jug was custom made into a lamp by a lighting firm in Avon, Ohio in 1992 for my home. The base of the jug was drilled and has a turned hardwood base and top with internal wiring. This jug lamp is in great condition with no chips. Cracks, stains or repairs. Works perfectly. There is a tight line extending about 2 1/2 in. from the spout on one side which does not effect the stability of the jug. The lamp is approx 12 1/2 in. tall and 7 1/4 in. diameter base. Vintage Ceramic Pixie Elf Cameron Clay Products Planter West Virginia
Unique Vintage Planter. Pixie sitting inside a large square of the letter O. There is a remnant of a sticker on the back but all of the writing has faded. So can not identify maker or origins. I was informed that this planter was from Cameron Clay Product in Cameron West Virginia. Interesting history of the company on the website cameronclayproducts.com. It ceased to exist after a fire destroyed it in 1964. There is some paint loss on the Pixie's green socks. There is a chip on the base of the planter. But not visible when displayed. Very heavy Unique piece that displays well. I have not cleaned the interior. It has held a plant. So you can see water marks, etc. Planter measures approximately 7 inches tall and 6 1/2 inches wide.

Pacific Clay Products Company Hostessware Casserole with Lid& Stand Here's a marvelous find- a Hostessware casserole. Complete with its lid and a wrought metal serving stand. I believe the color is Apache Red- a vivid red-orange. The casserole has a wide rim, and two sets of rings or bands on the body. It's about 9" across, edge to edge, and 3-3/8" high at the rim. The underside reads"Pacific Made in USA" in raised letters around the catalog number 209. The matching lid has a mushroom finial and a small vent hole. It rests on the rim inside the casserole. The casserole can be presented in the wrought iron(or steel) stand. It's got four curved strap legs fastened to a center band that supports the casserole by resting the flared rim on the curves of the uprights. With the stand and lid. There is remnants of the original paper label left on it. I can't make out the brand however I can tell it originally held PURE VINEGAR. The second jug is unmarked however it appears to be made by machine although stylistically is the same. Which would put it after 1920 and would be a Robinson Ransbottom. Which was around making stoneware between 1920(the merger) and mid 1960s. However the remnants of the paper pure vinegar label are the same as the RCP version. A gallon is 16 cups Douglass Clay Products became Pacific Sewer Pipe after 1910. So this crock dates on or before 1910. This crock is in good condition. No cracks. It does have 2 chips. One on the bottom rim that measures 1/2 inch and one on the top rim that measures less than a 1/2 inch. The crock measures 8 1/4 inches tall and 8 inches across the top. Nice OLD crock. Antique Robinson Clay Products Blue Stoneware Rice Barrel Crock or Canister. Measures 8 1/2" tall to the top of the lid. The base measures 6 3/4" tall X 5 1/2" rim diam. Unmarked. This was made by Robinson Clay Products(pre Robinson Ransbottom or RRP) in Ohio. Stoneware clay with a pale blue grey glaze. Molded decoration designed to look like a old oak barrel with wood grain and faux metal bands. Around the center of the canister is a stippled background with a leafy pattern and an embossed plaque with the word Rice in Cobalt Blue. The lid also has a stippled and leafy pattern with a round knob. The base is in Excellent Clean Condition with No chips, cracks, crazing or stains. The set includes 1 each of: Yellow with Orange bands. Aqua with Green bands, Aqua with Brown bands, and Yellow with Brown bands. The bottoms are marked Pacific and what looks like 611. Some are stamped with another number as well(please see pictures) These are used vintage items. All have heavy crazing. Some staining and some use scratches.
