early 1800-1849 rocking ham glazed stone ware cuspidor ceramic & porcelain
This auction is for a beautiful artifact from a commode far. Far away. An almost forgotten necessity laid to rest by the heroic Mr. John Crapper. This cuspidor has no chips, cracks, nor breaks and is available in an astonishing rocking ham glaze. This piece(pardon my french) is adorned on one side by a female bust within a bead and rope medallion. This motif is repeated on the opposite side with a male bust. Considered superior only to a hole dug in the ground or the blissful solitude found behind a large rock, this little baby made the out house, the best house, and measures,7" in diameter and 4" high.

Here is a great looking. Small salt glazed crock. It stands all of 3 1/2" high and is 3" in diameter at the base. There are no chips. Cracks or breaks anywhere. There is a black stamp of"CW" on the crock. I'm unsure of the maker but still researching. I've only found 2 pictures online of the same stamp on any pottery. Any info would be appreciated. Just got an email stating this is a mustard or condiment crock from 1890-1910! Just became a lot cooler to me. Knowing a little history of it. Happy Bidding!

Older double blue band 5 gallon crock with lid. Stamped Miali Pottery Since 1906 El Monte Calif. Has 3 tiny holes drilled into the base. was likely used as a planter at some point. Crock has a very thin hairline crack near the top. see photos. Doesn't appear to go thru to the ceramic. Lid has 3 chips as seen in photos. Not sure if this is the original lid. Not including the lid this crock stands 14.5" tall and weighs 25lbs prior to packaging.

Two Zanesville Stoneware Crocks (Beige, Ceramic & Porcelain, Post-1940, USA)
These are two great crocks from Zanesville Pottery. One crock shows a picture of a ringneck pheasant. And the other shows a picture of a ruffed grouse. Both crocks measure about 4.25” in height, and 5” in diameter. Both crocks are in excellent shape with no chips or cracks. The Zanesville Pottery mark is embossed at the bottom of each crock. Antique Salt Glazed Brown,Ceramic & Porcelain Large 11"Crock Lid
This is a brown salt glazed stoneware lid with a button on top. Has a ring around the top of lid that is not glazed. There are no makers marks that I could see. It measures 11" in diameter& 2 1/2"depth. With a inside lip of 9" There is a significant chip to the lip that has been repaired as well as a few. Less consequential chips on the underside. This is a very old piece of pottery with the usual scratches and flaws. The last three pictures are of the chip. Look at the pictures. Email with questions.

Vintage Antique Chinese Export ? Ceramic / Porcelain Water Crock Jug Wire Handle
I can't find anything to compare this to. Everything with a similar lid and handle is antique. Asian design and writing except for the No 9. Possibly Chinese export? It has an unusual stamp(export? on one side. Looks hand signed in red characters and Porcelain lid with fitted cork ring. Bent thick wire handle wrapped in bent cane or maybe bamboo. Spigot is missing if there was ever one(might have been a cork) replacements are available. I put an old wine cork in it. Definite signs of wear. Especially on the bottom. Several chips on lid and bottom. Dings in glaze. Still water tight. No big cracks that I could find. Wire handle is solid but wood wrapping is half gone and what's left is loose. If you know what/when this is please educate me. I would be grateful! Please view all photos before bidding!
