Vintage Childs Ceramic Beater Jar and Beater
Greetings! Up for your consideration is a small child/doll sized blue band ceramic beater jar and a small metal and wood beater. The ceramic jar does have the rounded bottom same as the full sized models. The size is 2 3/8" tall. And 2 5/8" wide. The metal beater is 5.5" long. There is a hard to read because of the rust-patent date on the metal beater and also says. Which appears to be in the 1920's. MADE IN THE USA is legible. Condition is used; the ceramic jar does have glaze crazing. And a hairline crack. The metal beater does have paint loss and rust-but that only adds to it's character! NO RESERVE! This is part of a wonderful collection of Antiques. Toys and Collectibles we have picked up over the last 20 years from local Estates. Please take the time to look at our other auctions! This auction is offered at NO RESERVE and is for a wonderful ANTIQUE PRIMITIVE RED WING GREY STONEWARE BEATER JAR w/ WETZEL BROTHERS FORT ATKINSON. WISCONSIN ADVERTISING w/ COBALT BLUE WRITING. It measures approximately 4-3/4" high by 5" wide. This beater jar is in very good condition with NO chips, NO breaks and NO cracks. There is one tiny hairline which is on the"RED WING BEATER JAR EGGS CREAM SALAD DRESSING" side. When looking at it from the outside, you can just barely see it on the rim, but it does extend from the rim to the Eggs* Cream line; but again, you can barely see it from the outside. When looking on the inside, ... moreyou can see it lightly, and more so at the top. There is a manufacturer's"glaze miss" on the bottom on the Wetzel Bros side, which you can see in my pictures. Other than that, I would say this is in very good condition with just your typical stoneware characteristics.
