Small Chinese Signed Tea Bowl Antique Blue White Hand Painted Rare Collectable Lovely collectable little old hand painted chinese tea bowl. The bowl has been signed on the underside and has an interesting blue zigzag around the bottom also. This bowl is very small& measures approx 7cm across& 3cm in height. The bowl is in good condition with no damage however the rim appears to have a couple of nibbles& the underside has a dent but I am pretty sure these were done during the firing process as they dont feel sharp. 99p start no reserve. Antique Primitive Hand Painted Stoneware Covered Crock/Jar Description. This is a Fantastic Antique Tall Stoneware covered crock/jar with hand painted floral design. This was acquired from an elderly estate in excellent Antique condition with normal signs of age and wear/loss of paint. The crock/jar measures app 9 and 1/8" in height by app 6.5" across the base. There are no cracks or breaks. But does have some mild chipping on the edge of the lid(see pictures) and normal glaze blemish's that you would expect in old Stoneware(see pictures) as well as wear to the painted floral design on the front of the jar at the rim and on the lid most of the paint is worn. I have had this piece in my personal collection for years and have not been able to identify it. Any experts out there are welcome and encouraged to comment on this piece. This is an interesting ovoid stoneware jar. It has no lid. It holds almost 1 gallon. It has a very nice coggle design under the hand painted design. I think this crock may be from the North East as the design is of a river running into the sea with the waves crashing on to the high cliffs. If it were from the south east you would think it would be less green and lower beach area. But this is only a guess. This is a very early 1920's primitive stoneware crock bowl. It has a heavy brown glaze. You can see it was hand turned. 10 1/4" wide and 5" tall. It is very heavy. Antique Stoneware Ironstone Pot Crock With Lid Hand Painted Rose-Illegible Mark
Antique Ironstone/Stoneware Hand Painted Pot/Crock With Lid Illegible Maker's Mark- This is a nice old hand painted ironstone pot or covered container. With an illegible mark that I wish someone could help me identify. I've looked through every antique pottery mark I could find. But couldn't find this one. It appears to be written in English because one of the words in the center circle is clearly'ware' The pot is 4 1/2" tall and 6" to the top of the lid handle when the lid is on. It is 5 3/4" in diameter at the widest opening and the lid is 5 1/8" in diameter. The rose motif is clearly hand painted with a pearly. Iridescent glaze over it. Some of the areas at the bottom of the circles with the roses have a purplish hue. CONDITION It's in very nice condition for its age with some discoloration around ... morethe inside lip that isn't protected by the glaze.this is of both the pot and lid. There are a couple of minor chips. Or crazing under the pot. There are minor white spots on the lid handle. I'll say now that I believe it's ironstone. But it may be stoneware. This beautiful old crock was purchased at the estate sale of a collector. It is about 8 1/2 inches tall and 6 1/2 inches diameter at the opening. The unusual design includes a raised floral pattern that is hand painted. The paint is worn off some with age and use. Most of these old crocks were used in the kitchen on a daily basis- possibly as a cookie jar or lard container- so it is common to have chips as this one does around the lid. This is one of my favorite estate finds! Beautifully hand-painted porcelain jug/teapot. Design is of corn ears in vibrant reds and golds. Many pieces from this era were made in Germany and then sent to the United States where they were then hand-painted. There are also manufacturing defects on the lid. The crock and lid are covered in crazing– it’s old. There are dark spots on the bottom of the crock. The red around the opening is worn. Painted flowers look pretty good. Measures approximately 9” tall. Lid measures approximately 4 1/2” in diameter. This would make a great display piece. If there is any cleaning needed. LOVELY ANTIQUE BROWN GLAZED CROCK HAND PAINTED WITH JONQUILS
A beautiful old pottery crock with a lovely deep brown glaze. With hand painted Jonquils. It measures 6 ½” tall and is 4 5/8” by 4 ½” wide at base. It is 3 1/8” wide at rim and has a 2” opening. Several old chips on the rim/inside rim and 2 very small paint flakes on crock and some very small bits of faded paint on flowers. Otherwise great. It is quite common for crocks to have chips. I don’t believe it detracts from the beauty of this old crock. The glaze is just gorgeous and so are the hand painted flowers. It is quite heavy for such a small crock. J. FISHER LYONS NY ANTIQUE BROWN GLAZED CROCK WITH SHOULDER STAMP HAND MADE. This antique stoneware crock is 6.5 pounds and has an amazing mirror like brown glaze. This is an impressive looking crock with two handles and what looks to be an inner lip where a lid once was placed. On the bottom of the glaze near the base there are the finger marks of the workers finger tips imprinted into the surface. They are the spots where the worker held the crock as it was dipped in glaze and remain frozen into it to this day and beyond. These markings appear to be spots where the glaze has rubbed off but is actually a tell tale marker of authentic an Albany slip glazed crock. The inside of the crock is almost black with swirling lines from when it was made by hand long ago spiraling out from the center of the inside bottom of the antique stoneware jug. ... moreThe stamp on the shoulder reads clearly'J. ONE GALLON BROWN BEEHIVE HAND TURNED JUG -ANTIQUE PRIMITIVE STONEWARE CROCK
This primitive one gallon jug is truly a piece of American History. At 7 1/2 inches tall. And 6 inches across, it will make you want to hum the tune, Little Brown Jug' for the rest of the afternoon. This early little jewel has a deep brown albany slip glaze that shows the rings going round and round the jug from the hand turned spinning wheel. When you look closely you can see the potters fingerprint inside the handle where it was held as it was dipped into the albany slip finish. It's topped with what could be the original cork. As you can see in the picture of the handle there are two small chips inside it. That's all! Everything else is perfect! Description: Vintage/Antique Brown Crock with Side Tab Handles. Very nice shiny brown glaze with hand painted green. Red and yellow flowers. It is trimmed out in green around the top and the tip of the lid, with a bit of fading. Some color on the flowers has faded off. Mark: Stamped USA on bottom. This is an antique hand-turned 6 gallon Red Wing stoneware crock with cobalt blue markings including birch leaves and a ski oval. The crock has some wonderfully obvious turn lines on the inside surface from the middle of the bottom all the way up to the top edge. It is in good condition with some minor damage; there is one small chip on the inside and one small chip on the outside of the top edge(both on the side) one tiny flake on the bottom edge. And a very faint crow's foot, shown in the photos. There are some minor scuffs and scratches and a little dirty residue elsewhere, but it looks fantastic overall and would display nicely. It measures 14" H x 12 1/2" in diameter. It will be packed securely, double boxed, and insured during shipping.

XLNT Antique Hand Turned 4 Gallon Birch Leaf Ski Oval Stoneware Crock NO CRACKS!
This is an excellent antique Red Wing stoneware crock with crisp bold cobalt blue markings including birch leaves and a ski oval. The glaze is shiny and even and super-clean. There are absolutely no cracks. But there are a few small chips. The one on the back, shown close-up in the photos looks like a small air bubble in the clay that broke open, and there is a chipped spot on the bottom edge and a slightly rough spot on the top edge. It is otherwise near-mint. It was definitely hand-turned and some slight ridges from turning are visible on the inside. The crock measures 11 3/4" H x 11 1/4" in diameter. It will be packed securely, double boxed, and insured during shipping.
