19th Century Antique Hand Painted Folk Art Crock/Lid
You've seen these butter/pickle crocks before. But have you ever seen one hand painted like this? If you're lucky enough to be the high bidder on this, rest assured you will have a true one-of-a-kind antique. There are only a couple of small chips on the inside of the cover. The crock and outside of the lid are perfect. There is a layer of"patina" dirt) that a person could clean off, but I always liked how it looked, so I never bothered to wash it. Antique Folk Art Hand Painted Porcelain Corked Jug / Teapot - TFK 1901
This is one of my favorite estate finds! Beautifully hand-painted porcelain jug/teapot. Design is of corn ears in vibrant reds and golds. Many pieces from this era were made in Germany and then sent to the United States where they were then hand-painted. I assume that the initials that appear on the stopper and on the bottom are of the artist who painted it.

The circles are not all even making it a very unique piece Red Clay Bottom unglazed as is the rim to the cover and upper rim on the inside Bottom is incised with makers mark or initials measures 5" tall and 9" in diam Shows some wear as there are rim chips on the top as shown in pictures top has a crack that does show on top Early 1800s and is in overall good shape for its age. Antique Brown Salt Glazed Beehive Crock- Canning Crock - Faded Folk Art Painting
Offered for Auction: Old Brown Beehive Shaped Salt Glazed Crock with Faded Folk Art Painting. The crock was probably used for food storage or canning and the painting on the side appears to be a floral arrangement of perhaps dandelions or thistles but it's all but faded with just an outline in teal/green and a little yellow. The crock has seen better days and is being sold as is. I have not cleaned it and I do not know if it will hold liquid. I am uncertain of its age or origin as it is unmarked. Condition: Poor to Fair given its age and use. The crock has surface spalling. Scratches, glaze loss and dings, nicks and chips and there is a chip/void on the edge of the rim. The painted floral design has faded leaving an outline of teal/green colored paint and very light yellow. There are spots of glaze and other discoloration on the bottom ... moreas shown. The interior is dirty and I have not cleaned the crock. Antique Folk Art Black American Cookie Jar Lid (1900-1910)
Very unique old cookie jar lid. Black gentleman in a brown suit. Holding an umbrella with a grey top hat with a black band on his head. Approximately 6 1/4 inches tall and fits on a crock 4.25" wide. Full measurement across the bottom is 5 and 1/8" Painting is very good, and the topper is in very good condition. There are no cracks or breaks. There is a(1/2" approximately) place on the back that the green paint has been scuffed off. See photo) This is a nice piece and will add greatly to a cookie jar. He has a beautiful smiling face. I believe he was made around 1900-1910.

Antique Redware 19c. Large Crockery Folk Art Pottery 9.4 Pounds Grand Old Patina
For your consideration an uncommon. Large size, 19th century, redware crock. A recent estate purchase. The condition is very good. There are no chips or cracks or old repairs. There are some old scuff marks. Measures about 10-1/4 tall. The top is more of an oval then round and measures about 9-1/2 x 8-7/8 inches. It weighs almost 9-1/2 pounds(9.4) It has a beautiful red brown slip glaze with amazing patina. Possibly from Pennsylvania. Please look at all the pictures and if you have any questions please ask. antique OLD STONEWARE CLAY CROCK painted TOLE FOLKART SUNFLOWER or DAISY bale handle. This is a great old primitive crock. Purchased at an antique auction in Lancaster PA. Earthy clay piece which is handpainted with sunflowers and sage green trim along mouth. Measures approx 5.75" high with a base of 4 5/8" across, and mouth opening"hole part" of 2.75" There is no lid. We believe this to be from the 1800s. The painted sunflowers are likely a later addition. Wire bale handle with turned wood painted sage or avocado green. Some chipping to the paint and crazing on the glaze. I see 2 hairline cracks which I can't feel as they are under the glaze. Beautiful primitive piece would be a great planter. Kitchen utensil holder, etc. Pennsylvania residents to pay 6% sales tax. Our items are mostly 100 years old or so.
