Is this very nice estate fresh pickin' from our own back yard.a FULPER& BROS FLEMINGTON NJ double stamped Preserves shape Stoneware Crock with thick well formed rim to hold yesteryear's stash of pickles, condiments, horseradish, jelly, chowchow or whatever Grandma cooked up on the iron stove for winter food preservation to feed her family and the farmhands that worked our land in the century past, better known as, The Good Old Days, to those of us born, before the button pushing e-techno-tronic digital age. Back in those days, if you said"mouse" we meant that little fur critter, not a plastic thing a ma jig. And a"screen" was a wire mesh you sifted with, not something you peered at plugged in. Likewise, ... morethe"cookie" was something Grandma baked, not some computer part. Ahhh, yes. Times past, the days when this Crock was new, selling for pennies at the country store as a utilitarian object now elevated to collector status desired by every Watcher out there reading this. Mean, and keen inside and out with well stamped blue-touched Signature on the front upper shoulder, so well, that almost double stamped; look closely to see potter artist impressing crock with die tool didn't quite catch first try, and second attempt to capture strong readable signature resulted in a shadow of first failed try with some repeated letters. Quite understandable, given it is wrought on a curved surface. We don't call it a Fulper unless it IS, we don't beleive in"Fulper attributes" in my mind, my book of rules, and my guarantee to buyer, it is not Fulper, unless it SAYS Fulper, and there is no question here. One sees a coil helix, a bird, but a plain true clearly marked simple Fulper, is just a gem on her own merit here for your browsing and buying pleasure. Crock stands 9.5" tall on a 7' diameter base. The thick stand up rim is a

Rare Unusual 19th C Antique COLBURN Pottery Stoneware Crock Patent 1861 1875
Very Rare Interesting COLBURN Pottery Crock Spittoon Patent Issued 1861 Re-Issued 1875 I recently found this odd and uniquely designed Antique Pottery Crock or Spittoon stored away in the basement of an old Boston. MA Estate. It measures approximately 6 1/4" high and has an 8 7/8" diameter across the top. As you can see in the photos. This is a very uniquely designed piece. I'm not sure exactly what its intended use was.my best guess is that it was a spittoon or a unique invention for a flower planter. I've been unable to find another example of this piece or anything resembling it. It's shaped much like your typical crock. But the top is not completely open. As seen in the photos, it concaves inward and has five circular openings. The bottom edge has a scalloped design which also differs from your typical antique crock ... moreor spittoon. stamped into the side of the piece is COLBURN'S PATENT ISSUED 1861. RE-ISSUED 1875. The condition is excellent with just one small shallow chip on the lip. I welcome any feedback from those more knowledgeable about 19th Century Pottery. If not a One-Of-A-Kind piece. My guess would be there are very few examples remaining of this COLBURN pottery piece. Please view the photos provided and feel free to contact me with any questions as this will be a No Returns auction. Sale is Final. I take my 100% positive feedback rating very seriously.please bid with confidence. You must be a U.S. Bidder with a Confirmed Paypal shipping address. No International shipping. Your COLBURN Pottery piece will ship very well protected and Fully Insured via UPS GROUND shipping. Good Luck!

Antique German Stoneware Salt Glazed Mustard Pot 19th-20th Century Crock
This is a late 19th- early 20th century salt glazed mustard pot made in Germany. Bears the Matthias Girmscheid mark on the bottom. Looks like a mini stein but the pewter lid has a small cutout for a spoon to protrude and there is no capacity mark as you would see on a stein. Stands 4" high to the top of the lid. 4 5/8" to the top of the thumblift) and 3" wide including the handle. I've included a picture of it next a can of soda for size reference. Bears three cartouches featuring a cross. An anchor and a heart, a common symbology in Victorian times. The cross represents faith. The heart charity and the anchor hope- the safe ground that we all need. Please ask all questions before bidding. All my items come from a clean. Pet and smoke free home.

Large antique 19th c blue decorated stoneware jug crock ovoid bees NY 16.25"
A large antique blue decorated ovoid stoneware jug with bee decoration which we believe dates to the 19th century. The handle is big and thick and doesn't look like it's ever been broken off or cracked. Lots of heavy patina in the area of the handle and the top. The crock measures approximately 16-1/4" tall. Condition issues include five surface chips. The largest of which is on the front, just left of center near the top and measures approximately 1-1/2" by 1-3/8" Other surface chips appear on the front bottom(about 1-1/4" in width and 3/4" in width) and on the back about mid-way down(1" and 1/2" There are also five smaller chips to the very bottom edge of the piece, the largest of which measures approximately 1-1/8" in width. It is difficult to see because of the dark color of the jug, but ... morehere is a tight hairline which begins at the top and extends downward about 3-1/4" There are also some small holes. most notably two toward the bottom left of center on the side. There are also a couple areas of heavy wear to the glaze, and the typical tiny glaze skips and other minor imperfections. The bottom of the jug is covered in green felt(therefore we cannot speak to any hairlines which may be on the bottom) and there is a cork in the top with the top broken off- we acquired it this way and have not tried to get it out. There is even something inside the crock- it sounds like a marble but we will never know! We do not know the maker or region of origin, but it seems like a New York piece to us. While it could be restored, the appeal of this piece is largely the sheer size, shape, and the blue decoration, which is in a very nice state of repair. The surface chips are noticeable, and other issues mentioned only for accuracy; this piece still displays very well and has lots of character! Please view the images for condition details. As they are part of the description and they are of the actual item you will receive. Shipping is FREE to the continental U.S. only(lower 4

Antique Large Two Gallon Jug New York Stoneware Co. of Fort Edward NY 19th Cen
Selling a wonderful 2 gallon jug made and stamped by the New York Stone Ware Co. of Fort Edward. N.Y. This company was in business and making stoneware from 1861 to 1891. This jug has a maker's mark with a pretty cobalt wash over it, and a fancy cobalt design of a leafy plant. It reminds me of a plant called"lady's slipper, which is a rare and beautiful spring wild flower that grows naturally in New York state, including the Fort Edward area, and in New England. It may well have been the inspiration for this design! Measures 14 1/2" tall. It is in excellent condition, with no hairlines, cracks, or restoration, and having just three little chips on one side of the spout. Simply a gorgeous and antique signed stoneware jug from the great town of Fort Edward. NY.
Antique Primitive 19th c 3 Gallon Salt Glazed Stoneware Crock Cobalt Leaf Design
This is a very old and primitive-looking(not perfectly round. But slightly oblong in shape and the clay is slightly lumpy) 19th century 3 gallon salt glazed crock with bold cobalt leaf designs. It is sturdy, solid, and has a molded handle both sides. Due to age, the color of the clay has a slightly patchy appearance from discoloration. One of the handles has a few small flakes, but there are no other chips on the crock. There are three short cracks on the top edge that don't go all the way through the clay and look like they might be splits from firing. One very fine unnoticeable hairline on the top edge is slightly visible inside and out and is probably a true hairline from damage, but it is very difficult to see. All cracks are shown in the photos. There are two yellow streaks in the glaze on the front, also shown in the photos. They ... moreare part of the glaze and happened during manufacture. The crock measures 11" in diameter x 10 3/4" H. It will be packed securely in a double box and insured during shipping.

*Antique Stoneware Bottle Adrian Feyh of William St, New York 19th Century 1873
This is an antique stoneware bottle that came from a local estate. It is dated 1873. It has on the front"Adrian Feyh. 3 William Street, New York, 1873" Also on the bottom left side is a seal pressed into the bottle but I can't make out what it says. It measures approx. 7 1/2" tall and the base measures 2 7/8" across. Fair to good condition. There is a large chunk missing on the bottom left side that you can see even when the bottle is sitting on a table. And a chip to the back that starts at the base and goes up approx. 3/4" Please look at all photo for condition. It comes from a smoke free home. Is this very nice estate fresh pickin' from a local estate.a nice, preowned and used condition and form Unsigned approximate 1.5 gallon Salt Glaze Crock with Lid, to hold various foodstuffs of yesteryear perhaps pickles in salt brine, fermented juice, things we no longer dine on today but better known as, The Good Old Days, to those of us born, before the button pushing e-techno-tronic digital age. Back in those days, if you said"mouse" we meant that little fur critter, not a plastic thing a ma jig. And a"screen" was a wire mesh you sifted with, not something you peered at plugged in. Likewise, the"cookie" was something Grandma baked, not some computer ... morepart. Ahhh, yes. Times past, the days when this Crock was new, selling for pennies at the country store as a utilitarian object, but now elevated to collector status desired by every Watcher out there reading this. The horse drawn carriages were clipclopping past at a lazy pace! This was your 19th c Tupperware! This Unmarked ABOUT 1.5 gallon Tornado Crock is typical shape with twin lug ear handles at sides for lifting. With a strong brushed blue cobalt exterior décor of Whirling Tornado and interior of dark brown Albany slip glaze even coloration. No signature evident. Please see the pictures taken outside above in winter daylight for your inspection. Lid that fits well is a concentric stepdown pattern with flat top knob and dappled brown inner ring accent; hard to tell if original, but has been together awhile so I will sell as a set, bottom and lid one price. Crock stands 17.5" tall on a 8" diameter base. Not counting lid height when closed. Weighs 7.5 pounds unwrapped. Smoke free home. LID has a repaired chip as shown and tight hairline running underneath 3/4 way through. Unsigned. But sound and safe to handle and fits base well. BASE One thumbnail old darken
