Authentic Old Antique Small Stoneware 1 Quart Crock 6-1/8" Tall GREAT CONDITION
This excellent little kitchen crock measures just over six inches tall. And probably hold about a quart. The piece is from an estate, so we really don't know it's actual age, only that it is very old and original. There are no cracks or major chips anywhere; only a few small fleabites and scuffs in the original glaze. There is absolutely no maker's mark anywhere. Please email any questions before bidding. This is a nice little crock/ stoneware bean type pot with two handles. On the outside it is blue washed with a floral design It also has blue on the handles This stoneware crock is a hair under 4.5" tall and is 6" across the brim. This crock has a hairline crack across the bottom as shown. But it is not loose. Very primitive looking! This item will be wrapped well and double boxed to assure it's safe arrival.

This auction is for a smaller oval shaped crock. Not an expert on these. I am guessing that this may have been used as a planter. Measures right at 4.75" tall and measures right at 6.75" wide and 6.25" across. The inside has a roughness to around the sides. The bottom is smooth. Outside is mostly smooth to touch, outside bottom is rougher. White with a creamy tinge to it. Very pretty. Could be added to a collection or used for a plant. No chips or cracks on it. A true antique crock. I'm selling the old pottery piece for my friend. She's 92& asked me to list it. The crock came from her home place. In Bybee, Tn. where she was born& raised. She moved from the family farm in 1960. She remembers the crock as a small child. She was born in 1920 so this crock is definitely an antique. Great condition. No chips. A couple very light. Glaze hairline cracks that you need extra light to see& doesn't take away or cause any issues. The stoneware crock is 6" tall& 5.75" across the top. Two tone or two shades of brown. An antique blue decorated stoneware crock which is stamped"1-1/2" gallon on the front. There is no maker's mark or stamp. The crock is approximately 6-3/8" tall and 9-7/8" wide across the top. The blue decoration is in a beautiful state of repair with virtually no wear. There is a large chip to the rim right of center on the side. Measuring nearly 2.25" in length. There is also a hairline on the back of the piece, which starts at the rim and extends about 4" downward. There are virtually no other problems- just some discoloration and the typical glaze skips/tiny dings. Please view the images for condition details. Antique Vintage 9" Tall Lt-Gray Stoneware Wire Bail Handle, 6-quart Crock w/ Lid
Vintage 9" Tall Stoneware Bail-Handle Crock with Original Lid click picture to enlarge Description This stoneware. Bail-handle crock is a full 9" tall. much larger than any others I'm seeing offered. The wire bail and wooden handle are original to the crock. Roughly measures out to be just under 1-1/2 gallons(6-quarts) No manufacture's marks of any kind. Family providence tells me this crock was made in the late 1890's to 1920's. Measurements: 9" tall x base diameter 9" x top diameter hole 5-1/2" This crock has some fine overall crazing(inside and outside) But overall it is in very nice condition with no chips or cracks. What a great decorator piece for the kitchen or any room of your house. Use it to hold flowers. Kitchen utensils, magazines, newspapers. the possibilities are endless. This is a wonderful ... morepiece of history. Please view additional photos below. Condition: Very nice useable condition. Clean and cared for. Only one very small nick in the outer edge of the crock(see photo#7.where screw-driver points to the area) The lid is original to this crock. But it has two large chips and a number of nicks& small chips hidden on the underside. There is also a fine 1" hairline crack in the lid(see final 4 photos) There is also a crack in the knob-handle.that happened during the firing of the crock in the kiln. Vintage Unusual 6 Inch Tall Brown Glaze Stoneware Jug
This is about 6 inches tall. I am saying this is unusual because I have not seen another one like this. The only damage I found is on both sides of the handle, a chip out of each side, on the underside of the handle. I do not see any crack any where on this jug. This is a nice older piece, so please see pictures for condition, however, on the pictures it looks as if there is chips in the glaze around the bottom of the handle, I am saying the flash makes it look that way.
