Up for auction Vintage antique 5 gallon crock brown and tan with a blue 5 on the front. This crock is in great shape and is 20" tall. I do like to list any flaws that I am aware of on any listing that I post and with this one there are some small chip marks at the bottom but I am not sure they were not made during the manufacutuing of this item. For auction I have an antique brown 20 gal. Crock lid. The lid is in perfect condition with no cracks or chips. Only issuds you may see are just imperfections from the factory. I dont know what pottery company made this lid because I can't find any markings. Possibly a red wing, fort dodge or western, but I try it on a red wing 20 gallon and it fit perfect although it may vey well fit on other sizes and look just fine. Antique Red Wing Union Stoneware Co. 20 Gallon Crock With Lid & Handles
This is an excellent antique 20 gallon Red Wing Union Stoneware Company. Red Wing, Minn. with original lid and all handles. This crock is dated from 1906-1936, according to the stamp. Stamped wing is the early 6" size. Under one handle, the handle design patent is stamped, Dec. 21st, 1915. All handles are intact, two on the crock and one on the lid. The lid has the beautiful flower petal design. There is one flake on the underside of the lid shown in the photo(left side in the picture) Crock is in very good condition, has a few flakes along the bottom, shown in photos, that are common in pottery of this age. There are no inside cracks. There are some glaze bubbles as expected. Croc is 20 1/2" tall; 22 1/2" with lid. Measures 20" in diameter. Antique Vintage 20 Gallon Red Wing Birch Leaf Stoneware Crock
This is a nice. Solid, large 20 gallon Red Wing crock with birch leaf design. There is only one very tight, faint hairline that is only visible on the outside side surface(last photo) and no other cracks that I could see. There are some small chips and dings throughout, especially along the top edge, shown in the photos. None of them are especially deep, there are just a lot of small ones and there is a piece missing from one of the handles. The crock measures 19 1/2" H x 19 1/2" W. Because of it's size and weight, I will be accepting local pickup only.
20 Gallon Stoneware Crock Blue Ribbon Buckeye Pottery Macomb illinois
Nice 20 gallon crock in good condition for its age. It has two hairline cracks which should show in the photos. One is below the ribbon and the other is on the inside lip of the piece. The area around both is solid and they do not appear to have an impact on the pieces integrity. There are 3 or 4 areas on the bottom which have some chips. They also should show in the photos and are surface only. The top lip has wear as would be expected for a piece this old. The walls of the crock are about 1 1/4" thick and it weighs around 85 pounds. Colors and details are good. It is about 21 3/4" tall and 18 1/2" across at the top. Photos should show details. Please email me any questions. This is a good solid piece. This is for local pick up only. If the new owner wants the item shipped they will have to arrange for it to be picked up at ... moremy location. I will not package it or transport it to a carrier.
