Authentic Old Antique Small Stoneware 1 Quart Crock 6-1/8" Tall GREAT CONDITION
This excellent little kitchen crock measures just over six inches tall. And probably hold about a quart. The piece is from an estate, so we really don't know it's actual age, only that it is very old and original. TWO VINTAGE~ANTIQUE UNMARKED CREAM CROCKS- 1 Quart Ivory and 1 1/2 Quart Brown& Ivory These crocks have been in the family for for over 70 years. They were used on the farm to collect the cream that was separated from the milk after the cows were milked. My dad is 80 and he tells me that the brown and cream one was used for guernsey cow milk because they give more cream and the cream colored one was used for holsteins. The BROWN and CREAM colored crock is 1 and 1/2 QUARTS. It is about 4 1/2 inches wide and 5 inches tall. The IVORY CROCK is 1 Quart. It is about 4 inches wide and 4 inches tall. The Ivory crock is a bit thicker than the brown and cream one. Both show no cracks or chips. General wear and tear from use. Wm. Hare Stoneware Crock 1 Quart Size 1855 -1885, Americana Stoneware, US
This Wm. Hare crock clearly shows the apprentice's stamp of Wm. Hare and Wilm. DE. This crock was made after 1855. Because it has an inner lip about 1 1/2" below the top, which Wm. Hare developed that year as a new and improved crock. This inner lip made the sealing of the crock easier with either wax and/or cheesecloth. The most significant chip measures 3/4" in length, but is barely visible from the top of the crock. The photographs are part of this description, so please look carefully at them. There are no cracks on this crock either on the sides or the bottom of the crock. Vintage Crock 1 Quart Capacity 2 stamped on bottom
This is a light gray or cream colored crock 3.5 inches tall and 5.5 inches in diameter and a capacity of 1 quart. The inside and sides are glazed and there is minor mineral marks inside at the bottom. Probably housed a houseplant in its past. There is a 2 stamped in the bottom but no other indication of manufacturer or age. There is no lid. There is one spot on the outside lip that is a circular pattern of goldish and blue tint. See the last picture.

Antique Stoneware Canning Crock with Wire Bail 1 Quart
This is an Antique 1 Quart Stoneware Canning Crock with a wire bail. The crock is 7 ¼” tall and 4 ¼” in diameter. The crock is in very good aged condition. The wire bail strong and swings freely. There is a chip on the outer edge of the neck and one on the rim(see pictures)
