This is another wonderful. OLD antique oak 8 drawer file cabinet. It was made by the SHAW WALKER Co. and is also marked Seattle Office Equipment Co. From the early 1900s, it looks like there ar 10 drawers, but the 2 bottom drawers are actually doubles, so they would hold a deeper file. overall great condition, doors all slide out smoothly. Very heavy over 100 lbs. Measures 52 inches high, is 22 inches across and is 27 inches deep. The finish is very good, but it has slight scuffs, scratches and nicks, as would be expected for a old cabinet. Free local pick up, I can deliver it up to 200 miles from my location for gas money. Original vintage Shaw Walker stackable steel file cabinet. Very nice and extremely sturdy. This cabinet consists of 4 main filing sections plus the base stand and top cap. The 6th photo shows the sections unstacked so that you can see that they do separate. All 4 of the filing sections are interchangeable. You can put them in any stacking order or even remove a section or two if you choose because the cap or base pieces will attach to any of the files. All pieces easily interlock when stacked together so there is no possibility of movement. Overall this cabinet stands 50" tall. It is 19" deep and 18" across the front. The inside dimensions of the large file drawers is 15-1/4" wide and 10-1/2" high. For the small file drawers the inside dimensions are 5-1/8" wide and 3-1/2" high. All drawers operate smoothly ... moreand are very clean. The exterior surface is all original with no touch ups. There is normal light surface wear including some scratches. Overall the condition is quite good with no dents or rust. I welcome the buyer to pick this up at my home. This original 4 drawer golden oak card file cabinet dates from the early 1900's. Came out of a small railroad freight office. Has the"Shaw-Walker" decal on top side. Tight tongue and groove corners. Four drawers for holding 4 in. by 6 in. index cards. Drawers have metal moveable card adjusters. In as found good used condition. Straight and solid with no breaks or cracks. Drawers work fine. Has all hardware including 4 small metal“button” feet. Old varnish has blistered and shows some loss from age and use. Rear left-hand corner has a sliver off along the edge(see pic) Measures approx. 15 1/4 in. deep by approx. 15 3/4 in. wide by approx. 11 1/2 in. to bottom of feet. Nice original working unit.

Antique Shaw Walker Oak File Cabinet (REDUCED)
This solid tiger oak. Four drawer file cabinet is in pristine original finish. It was used in a home office and kept clean, dry and out of the sun. The sides are paneled and the rear portion has a solid oak panel from top to bottom. The drawer slides and side rails are all wood, no metal at all. All of the moveable sliders inside are intact. The brass rods for the sliders are all there as well. It is 100% complete with no missing parts. It appears that the brass handles and the card holders have been polished and lacquered. It's a beautiful piece of oak furniture, a great addition to any home or office. Measurements are 52" high, 17.5" wide and 27.5" deep. Shaw Walker 4-drawer Golden Oak card catalogue EC
Offered is a Shaw Walker 4-drawer golden oak card catalogue. The box is 16" long. 15" wide and 11" high. The drawer faces are 7 1/4" wide by 5" high. the are also oak, and the drawers themselves appear to be cherry. There is one drawer face that needs repair, but it is simple to do and when finished, it won't show. The back face is slightly warped, probably due to long-term exposure to humidity. The brackets are copper and in perfect condition. The dovetailing is well done and all the joined edges are radiused. The cutouts on the ends of the drawers look like they have been routed. These are incredibly well-made and beautiful to look at. Shipping will be a bear and I take special pains to make sure items arrive at their destination intact, so please take that into account when bidding. Quartered quarter sawn oak Shaw Walker 19 drawer file cabinet-10 interior -14720
This is a really exceptional quarter sawn oak file cabinet. It is a stackable cabinet with 19 drawers in all. One unique feature is that 10 of the drawers are on the inside of one of the doors-very neat feature. This case was manufactured by the Shaw-Walker company. Note that the piece has a stepback design with the bottom of the case deeper and the top; also note the sides are all paneled. There are 6 drawers with an interior size of 5 wide. 15 deep, and 3.5 high. The three file folder type drawers are 12 wide, 15.5 deep, and 11.0 high-all of these drawers have the original wood followers which hold the paper to the front. The 10 interior drawers are sort of a map case type with dimensions or 42 wide, 26 deep, and 47 high. All of the drawers have the original brass pulls and label holders. Great Antique Shaw Walker 4 Drawer Tiger Oak Card File Cabinet Up for sale is this great antique Shaw Walker 4 drawer index card file bureau. It is Tiger Oak and possibly has been refinished. It is 13 1/2" wide. 14 1/4" deep and 9 1/2" tall. The drawers have brass pulls with card holders to label the drawer. It has the Shaw Walker gold label on the top, you can read Chicago below that but it is partially worn off. There is the number 354-Y impressed into the bottom which is probably the model number. The condition is very nice. There is a small area on the top left corner where the varnish or lacquer is worn off(see photo) and in the back on the bottom edge there is a 4"x 1/2" area where the veneer is missing. These minor flaws do not detract from the appeal of this piece. The drawers hold 3x5 index cards. Only one ... moredrawer has the sliding mechanism to hold the cards in place. Up for auction is a Shaw Walker library card catalog. Probably early 1900s. Shaw Walker was located in Muskegon, Michigan. This card catalog consists of 4 stackable parts- base, 2 card catalog units, and a top. As you can see from the photographs, this item is still in presentable condition, although there are condition issues in the finish, and the base unit has cracks and repairs. The shipping box weighs about 60 pounds and measures 24x18x34. Sold as is, as an antique that's intact overall but with some condition issues. Local pickup welcome.

For auction is one beautiful vintage metal Shaw Walker index card file cabinet from the 1930s. It is in excellent original condition. And features six index card file drawers and one standard file drawer. The index card drawers have two separate rows each with an adjustable divider. The entire thing has been cleaned and detailed inside and out, and brass hardware has been cleaned carefully so as to keep the patina. It is painted a dark military green color, and the Shaw Walker logo is clearly intact. It still retains its original"Built Like a Skyscraper" care and maintenance tag on the interior. There is a small, hand-painted inventory number at the top left corner on the front. There are some minor blemishes and scratches in the finish.
