Antique KITCHEN CABINET Dry Sink Primitive PAINTED Small CUPBOARD Old OAK Veneer
Old. White Painted, Slightly Shabby KITCHEN DRY SINK/CABInET with PEGGED CONSTRUCTION Drawers(3) and a Door cabinet area. Body appears to be OAK. But the TOP and the Drawer& Door fronts are OAK VENEER. There is some damage to the oak veneer on the top. Sides are SLAT AND PANEL. As is the back. Very sweet Swag-Cut bottom along sides and in front. SIZE: Approx 31 1/2" long. 17" deep, and stands about 28 1/2" high, including casters. I do not know if the red bakelite handles are original. But they look great on the cabinet. CONDITION: Please look at all pix. Some veneer wear. Door could use a couple more screws, it is a bit loose. Otherwise, SOLID, secure, ready to use, or do some light cosmetic work, if you want. I thought it would look super with the top stripped, or just repainted white. Here is a very nice and clean antique kitchen cabinet/ cupboard. It is from a recent southern Ohio antique furniture liquidation sale. It is in its original condition and has been well cared for over the years. Very plum and straight with beautiful wood. The bottom door latch has been replaced at some point and I'm not sure about the 2 drawer pulls if they are original or not. Glass is original to piece and in excellent condition. Rear back panels are tongue and groove. Drawers and doors all fit nice. It has great patina as well. Classic feel. It was said at sale to be from around the 1930's era. I'm told the wood is cherry, very pretty. It is not an extremely heavy piece, average weight. It looks to have maybe a couple types of wood in the construction. This is an antique 2 piece hoosier type kitchen cupboard. The brand is unknown. I can't find any type of tag showing the brand on the piece. It needs to be repaired and or refinished. This is a consignment item I'm listing for a friend. They wanted to fix it and painted the 4 metal parts shown in the next to last picture but are just wanting to downsize at this point. I don't know where those pieces go in the cabinet but they are included. Everything else seen in the pictures in or on the cabinet does not go with it. Just the cupboard and the enamel counter top. Napanee Hoosier Style Kitchen Cabinet Cupboard Porcelain Top. This is a genuine Napanee Hoosier Cabinet Model J. as stamped on the back. 1925. It is just the( bottom) portion but includes the white porcelain top. The cabinet measures 48" x 27" The white porcelain top has 8 porcelain chips on the edges as you can see from the photos and two tiny flea bites, also on the side. There are 5 drawers. The top left drawer is divided into 3 back sections and 2 front sections. The drawer is 21 inches wide and 3 3/4 inches deep. The top right drawer is one large drawer 21 x 21 1/2 long and 3/3/4" deep. The right middle drawer is 12" wide and 6 1/2" deep. The bottom right drawer is a metal bread box 11" wide for the insert and 12" wide including the wood, 9 1/2 inches deep. This drawer has some damage to the wood at ... morethe top and bottom as you can see from the photos. The 2 big lower drawers each have metal brackets measuring 8 1/2" high and 13 1/2" long. Inside this section, the top shelf sides out and has been replaced. It measures 29" x 21 imches and the space height is 6 3/4" The bottom shelf has a new bottom over the old and measures 10" in height form the shelf above. There are two slide out boards: a pastry board measuring 15 1/2 x 21 3/4 wide with a hand notch undernearth for easy handling. the other is a cutting board 11" x 16" made of 1" stock wood. The back of the cabinet says Porcelain White Model J and has the original shipment tag: Napanee IND 839-M and a partial Railway sticker The veneer is wavey on the bottom back but the cabinet is solid. The cabinet needs slides for the porcelain top. The previous owner had stripped the white paint which is still visible in the edges. Old hardware. This a vintage enamel top authentic Hoosier brand cabinet cupboard! There is 1 drawer. A pullout cutting board, and the original metal rack on the inside of the door! There is an oval metal plate on the front, it is embossed with the word"Hoosier" paint covered) The original casters are still on the bottom. The enamel top is white. It had been painted over at one time, and the paint is peeling off. The enamel is vintage worn and has no chips. What a Sweet, utilitarian piece! The cabinet stands 32" tall. 23" wide and 18" deep. The Hoosier Manufacturing Co. in Indiana was incorporated in 1899 with John M. Maring is President. Houses of the period were frequently not equipped with built-in cabinetry. Vintage Wilson Oak Hoosier Kitchen Cabinet Cupboard Buffet
This is a Vintage Wilson Oak Hoosier Kitchen Cabinet. It measures 70" tall x 41" wide x 25 1/2" deep. It is missing the flour sifter. All of the drawers and doors work well. The roll down door needs a little coaxing to go up and down and could use some TLC to make it work well. It has all of the original pulls. Hinges, latches and the original stained glass panels. The sliding pull out enamel tabletop is well worn having lost most of it's shine but only has a few minor chips. Some of the wood veneer has separated as shown in the photos. The joints are somewhat loose and in need of professional care. Not all of the corners are square and are in need of repair also. This oak kitchen cabinet is in good condition. It has the original metal tag on the front. A roll front above the porcelain work area and a metal bread drawer. It needs to be repainted or refinished. The porcelain pull-out work area has a couple of small spots that are only seen if the porcelain is pulled out all the way. It is a NAPANEE brand cabinet made in Indiana on Sept. 23. 1941. It is marked on the back that the original finish was PEARL WHITE OAK. It is 71" high x 40" side x 24" deep at the bottom part. It comes apart for moving. There is the top section. The porcelain part in the middle and the bottom or base section. It does not have legs and sits flat on the floor. A pencil sharpener is attached to the right side. Very nice Hoosier Kitchen Cabinet from The Hoosier Manufacturing Co. New Castle, Indiana. Contains the original dispensing bins and card inserts for grocery lists, cookbook holder, spice shelves. Some of the glass knobs are not original, but they match nicely. All but one latch work very well. The latch on the bottom cabinet has a missing pull, but the door stays closed. Slide out top which is painted a warm brown, lots of drawers and cupboards, frosted glass inserts on the top of the upper doors. 42" wide, 22.5" deep and extends to 32" when drawer top is extended, 68" tall. 38" from top of hoosier to the painted table top extension. This is not a reproduction. This is an AUTHENTIC tin sugar bin for a Hoosier Cabinet style Kitchen Cupboard. It is COMPLETE including the lift-up lid for filling the bin. The bail pull-out handle, and most importantly, the slide-plate for controlling the flow out of the chute. This slide-out plate is complete with it's stop tab. The bin measures 12" wide and 9" deep. Vintage Antique Painted Wood Kitchen Cabinet Cupboard Glass Doors 1920's-30's
LOCAL PICKUP IN UPSTATE NEW YORK. This old painted cupboard came out of a kitchen in a Victorian house we are remodeling. It could date from the 1920's or 30's when other renovation work was done to make this one family into a two family home. It stood on a counter that had a cupboard below it. I am selling the doors to the lower cupboard in a separate auction. The cupboard stands approx. 72 1/2" hi gh x 52 1/2" wide x 16" deep and has three board shelves. The two doors have six panes of glass each with one pane cracked. They measure 15 1/2" x 31" The cupboard looks like it's pine covered with four or five coats of paint. There is no back to the cupboard. The hinges and pulls are not original. Probably from the 40's or 50's. Up for auction is an antique wooden multipurpose cabinet. It is a very old piece that I bought from an estate sale. But I am unsure of the exact age. It was painted a light blue at one time and it appears that since then it had fallen into the hands of a maybe a young person that foolishly added some paint of their own. This cabinet carries the scent of an old barn/hay. This cabinet is 82" tall. It is 20" deep and 26" in width. Very heavy substantial piece of furniture.
