Original Bread or Pie Bin removed from a Kitchen Maid cabinet. It doesn't look complete. But it is. In the second photo you see the front and the bottom of the bin. The walls, top, and back of the cabinet serve as the other sides. Included are four tracks that metal racks could slide on, as well as the moulding that frames the front of the bin. The bottom is 11" wide, 10 1/4" deep. The door is 10 7/8" wide, 7 7/8" deep. I would suggest that you know what you're doing before you undertake the installation of this. On the inside of the door one can clearly see 333/750, so I am assuming this was a limited edition piece. For its age it is in good condition, the most important part, the advertising on the front, being clearly visible. The piece measures 28" in height. 17" in width, and 14" in depth. The glass is gone, but it was repurposed with chicken wire and beads giving it a very interesting look. Additionally, it was painted with a white, distressed paint in a shabby chic style. Very nice condition with some rubbing of paint and a dent in the back. So many possibilities. Nice for a kitchen, bathroom, lady's/girl's room or any living space. This cute Napanee bread cabinet from the 1940s was salvaged from an estate and fully restored(painted inside and out) The base is a creamy white with mint green drawer fronts and accents. It boasts the original chrome hardware. They c1940s teapot and teacup Meyercord decals on the front doors and drawers are a fun add on! The white porcelain enamel over metal top is in great shape with only a few spots of character adding loss to the porcelain along the edges and some very minor surface scratches on the top. Tin Hoosier Cabinet Bread Box From Mid Century
This Tin bread box was used in Hoosier Cabinets and sometimes in large kitchen drawers when kitchen's modernized. It has one sliding door on the top with a decorative diamond shaped vent and an indentation for the finger for easy sliding. It's really in nice condition with some surface rusting and natural discoloring of the tin. There is one little tear in the top rim. See picture for that. It measures about 19 1/2" x 12 1/2" by 8" tall.
