Box Lot of three complete Hoosier type Tambours for Kitchen Cabinets + some pieces. NONE of these are Oak. The one you see at the top of the picture someone disgracefully put in an original Hoosier cabinet. It's falling apart and really not worth much. It is 16" high. And all of it combined measures about 33" The small white tambour(with the blue handle) has the top two slats detached. But is other wise complete. It is 13" wide. And 12 1/2" high. The wood tambour is pretty much intact. It is 19 3/4" wide. And 15" high. And the white tambour on the bottom is 20 3/4" wide, 14 1/2" high. It is also pretty much intact and complete. Original Bread or Pie Bin removed from a Kitchen Maid cabinet. It doesn't look complete. But it is. In the second photo you see the front and the bottom of the bin. The walls, top, and back of the cabinet serve as the other sides. Included are four tracks that metal racks could slide on, as well as the moulding that frames the front of the bin. Tall 24" Hoosier Kitchen Cabinet type Flour Bin w/Sifter
Vintage tall Flour Bin for Hoosier type cabinets. This Bin is 24" tall. 10" wide, and 8" deep. Overall it is in pretty good condition, but has a couple of minor issues. First, there is no lid, and no Sifter cap. Second, the Sifter portion is screwed on to the bottom of the Bin. It's definitely in place, however the catches and attaching pins are gone. Hoosier cabinet type flour bin w/brackets 11 3/4 w, 10 3/4 d, 15 1/4 t
You may be bidding on this great old flour bin. This is tin or light weight metal I believe. The outside looks great as it has been painted black. However the inside is in rusted shape. I hear people get these sand blasted and they are good as new, but I am no expert. Anyway the measurements are as follows. The bin itself is 11 3/4 wide, 10 3/4 deep, 15 1/4 tall from top of bin to lower bottom spout. The bracket to bracket measurement is 13 1/4. I do not see a maker name on this anywhere, it does have a small white porcelain knob on the handle and the spinning part is in good working order. Please note I only ship in the US. Helmer's oak Hoosier type cabinet mfg 1910 complete with accessories.
We're selling our oak 1910 Helmer's hoosier style kitchen cabinet. It was made by the Helmer's Furniture Co at Levenworth Prison using convict labor! It has the original finish except for the pull out work top. It was refinished a few years ago. All the glass is original and comes with the flour bin. Sifter and coffee container. It has two roll up doors. Top and bottom. Two pull out trays and three drawers. The bottom drawer is a galvanized storage bin.It also comes with the metal casters. There are no issues with this and everything works fine. We would prefer to have the buyer pick this up but would be glad to work with your shipper of choice if you want it delivered. This is an antique 2 piece hoosier type kitchen cupboard. The brand is unknown. I can't find any type of tag showing the brand on the piece. It needs to be repaired and or refinished. This is a consignment item I'm listing for a friend. They wanted to fix it and painted the 4 metal parts shown in the next to last picture but are just wanting to downsize at this point. I don't know where those pieces go in the cabinet but they are included. Everything else seen in the pictures in or on the cabinet does not go with it. Just the cupboard and the enamel counter top. Has 2 glass-front doors that open to 2 shelves on top; 2 drawers; 2 doors opening to 2 shelves on the bottom. Middle section lowers to a work station with spice racks. Metal plate reads"StorMor. I've been told by an antique dealer specializing in Hoosiers that this is probably a German piece and is quite rare. I've done quite an extensive search and have never seen another like this one.
