It is in the medium dark oak stain. You can see a couple of stains on the top where plant pots sat at one time. The china closet shows normal nicks, dings and scratches from normal use. The overall size is 43 inches wide, 16 inches deep, 58 inches high to the case and 71 inches high to the backsplash. The mirror back is original and there is some cloudiness on the left-hand side. It has a couple of small holes above the bevel glass mirror on the right-hand side of the wood. I would guess it had a shelf there, but it doesn’t take away from the beauty of this antique sideboard. We used to get these all the time and they used to sell for thousands, but you can’t find them often anymore. Someone hung a mirror on the inside of the top section of the back which covered up the tiger sawn oak panel.

So this solid quartersawn oak sideboard has the best of both worlds. The base has two drawers and two doors with lots of storage space inside. The doors are paneled and have very cool shell and foliage carvings. The hardware on the drawers and doors is original and there are two different keys which will lock and unlock each door. Besides the carved paneled doors. The other interesting carving on this piece is kind of a feathered or herringbone type carving. The top of the base is clean and in very good antique used condition.no major issues. The top has a shaped original beveled mirror and panels on each side and carving above those. The support columns are really nice turned columns with lots of detail and turnings. The very top is an Art Nouveau style crest. This sideboard will break down into five pieces.the base. The top, the crest, and the two turned columns so easy for transport. Antique Curved Glass Oak Curio Cabinet 5.5 Foot Needs Restoration Work, Damaged
For sale is a very old Oak Curio cabinet. This is a restoration piece. Thats why the price is so low. I did have a guy that restores furniture look at it and he told me he could restore it, the straight pane of glass on the left side is broken and needs replaced, he told me thats an easy fix, about a 50 dollar piece of glass. He also told me the shelves on the left are not original and he would either put in glass shelves or go with no shelves at all. The bottom drawer front has came off and needs reattached which he said is also an easy repair. The curved glass piece for the big door on the left is in great condition with no damage. He told me the hardest thing to fix on this piece would be the 2 small doors that attach on the upper right that you can see in pic#10 on the floor. He said fixing those is not the problem, but finding 2 pieces ... moreof curved glass that will work on them is the hard part, so he said he would just leave the doors off if he couldnt find the glass for them. It does have a mirror back and a glass shelf on the upper right which have no damage. Finally he said he would refinish the whole thing instead of trying to touch up the bad spots as this piece is worth the time and effort. He was going to charge me 600 to refinish, fix the glass on the left, and the bottom drawer. He said if we did that he would ask around 2000 for the piece. He said he would charge me 1000 to also put in glass shelves and fix and reatach the 2 smaller doors plus all the other work and said he would ask around 3000 when done if we did all that. If I had the extra money I would have had him fix it all up and keep this for myself as this is a lovely piece of old furniture, but sadly I do not have the extra money lol. This will be an excellent project piece for any fans of old antique furniture. I do have all the keys for the doors and drawers and the original casters are in one of the drawers. The oak is accented with the brass trim pieces at each corner and jointed areas. The makers name is on the front plate. Century-old china cabinet with curved glass, tiger oak?
Very good condition with minimal scratches in wood and minimal imperfections in glass. Approx. 43 inches wide. 16 inches deep and 64 inches high. At left rear towards the bottom, along the back edge, there's a thin, approximately six inch streak of light paint. Lower section locks with original key. Upper section does not lock but does open. Mirror has some streaks and small splotches of something brown. Four shelves are removable. Cabinet rolls on wheels. Feet have snail( design. Stamped 1916 on back of mirror. This may be quarter sawn tiger oak— but I'm no expert.

All original with swell front glass doors and shelves. Cabinet is in excellent condition with little imperfections. Dimensions: Height 58" x Width 36" x Depth 13" The oak cabinet is from the Ebert Furniture in Red Lion Pennsylvania. In 1852. Two brothers from a small German town in Oberstetten travelled by sail to Philadelphia were they trained as cabinet makers. The brothers Johann Georg Ebert and his younger brother Johann Adam were masters cabinet makers. They opened their own company in 1854 and closed it doors in 1959. The company was a success for a hundred and five years and their furniture is still around.

The paneled back boards, and the four stationary removable shelves, are of plain oak. The door retains the brass escutcheon and lock, no key. Cabinet measures 5'5" 65" tall by 3'9" 45" wide by 16" deep, the plate grooved shelves 12" deep at center. Here is the project you have been looking for! This Curio has all the makings of a beautiful piece with some elbow grease. A woodworker looked at it and said it is oak under the orange paint. It has beautiful lines and is pretty solid. It has 4 removable shelves and the bottom also acts as a 5th shelf. It is too bad someone slopped some orange paint over it. It could definitely use a better handle and some TLC. I have done my share of projects and I have to tell you it is a labor of love. This is an antique oak china cabinet. It is from aprox the 1920's. It has curved glass on the sides and claw feet on all four legs. As you can see by the pictures it is in excellent shape. I could not really find any flaws to point out. The key is here and the lock works. Even the back is in great shape. Much of the wood is quarter sawn or some people call it tiger oak. This is the first one of these I have had in some time-an antique cane case display. Originally used in a haberdashery or country store to hold canes. Walking sticks or umbrellas for sale. Many times I have sold these to golf club collectors for their display. The curved glass door lifts up to access the interior. This case has been refinished and is in excellent condition with a pretty, smooth and mellow finish. Vintage Oak China Cabinet 3 Sides of Curved Glass W/ Shelves Antique RARE!
You are looking at a very unique vintage oak china cabinet. I have only seen one picture of one like it since I've owned it. I purchased it in 1975 and it's been in a smoke free home for about 39 years. What makes it so unique and rare is that it has 4 sides of curved glass which I believe to be all original. The door. The right side and the left short side are curved glass. Most other cabinets have a straight side on the inner side. Also, the small door on the bottom left side is curved glass. I have 2 glass shelves for the inside of the right side of the cabinet also. All of the pieces that hold the rail on the top of the cabinet are there. However I don't have the nails that hold it in place. I'm sure those would be easy to replace. On the left cabinet side: The drawer pulls are what came on it. I'm not sure if the ... more2 inner pulls are original or not. The others seem to be. The drawers are in good condition. The 2 small bottom doors show more wear with a crack in each side. There is a broken off leg but I do have it as seen laying on the wood bracing the cabinet in the picture. The small glass door opening has a small wooden shelf inside with an inward curve in the front which can be removed. The door also has a pull that came on it that I'm not sure is original. The top ornate piece on the left of the cabinet is in very good condition but a little loose as is the top decorative piece on the top right side. Both pieces have never been off of the cabinet. They just need to be secured. The wood in that part is very pretty in color. The spindles on the left side are in very good condition also. The cabinet measures approx 66" in height to the top of the brass rail; approx 75" in height to the top of the ornate top piece; approx 55" in width and approx 24" deep. This is a very lengthy description. But I want to point out as much as I can. This is a beautiful, very old piece that will be gorgeous with a little TLC.I never tried to refinish it, I didn't want to take away

Beautiful Antique Turn of the Century Oak China Cabinet. The cabinet rests on 4 heavily carved lions paw feet. There is a thick band of moulding along the bottom edge of the cabinet; leaf/vine carvings at the leg joints. Continuing upwards from the 2 front legs are long columns that extend to top pediment of the cabinet. Both sides have a quarter moon shape with curved glass. The glass front door has a serpentine like curve with a lock and key. The top moulding has a beautifully carved crest with leaf/vine carvings surrounding and dentil style moulding along the entire front. There are 4 glass shelves on the interior of the cabinet with a full mirrored back. The china cabinet is in excellent condition and has been well taken care of over the years.
