Perfect for your Country Kitchen and Farmhouse Decor! Description Thanks for looking! Up for sale is a Original. Early 1900's Wood Cupboard or Medicine Cabinet. We acquired and removed it off the wall of an Old North Carolina Farmhouse. Own a piece of Early Americana Farm History! This may be your last chance to own a rare original piece from these old houses as most have been torn down and there are only a handful of these houses left standing. It is perfect for displaying in a Country Style Farmhouse Kitchen. Bathroom or in the Home. This old. Well used cabinet measures 23" Tall x 15 3/4" wide at it's widest point x 6 1/4" in depth. The door measures 19 1/2" x 10" With the glass measuring 16" tall x 6 1/4" wide. The shelves measure 12" wide x 5 1/2" deep. It has the original crackled ... moreantique white paint with a coat of grey on top and the top coat is a green color that is reminiscent of the 1950's and 60's green paint. They had painted the green paint on the glass at some time and it is still intact in places. We couldn't get the back of the cabinet off the wall so it is still in the house, you can add your own 1/4" thick wood panel if you want a back on the cabinet. The wood is still in sound condition but it is surely showing it's age in certain places. The wood that is showing it's age the most is at the bottom of both sides. The hinges and lock are old and rusty. They have the old flat head screws that you like to see on these old pieces, the hinges are working fine and the cabinet latch does move in and out but the knob itself is rusted and does not turn. We didn't clean the cabinet or apply any rust solvent to the lock or hinges because we didn't want to change the original condition that we found it in. It would need a good and careful cleaning(if you want to) as it is dirty from all the years it was used and from being in the house while no one was living there. Medicine Cabinet Cupboard Shabby Cottage Paint,Antique Tile Insert ~Wood~UNIQUE
This Medicine Cabinet is Old and Shabby. I have taken the mirror out of it and replaced it with an Antique Cieling Tile. The tile is very shabby as well. Offering many different colores of chippy paint. I have sealed its surface to prevent any more paint coming off. The Tile is sealed on the backside with the original piece of wood that backed the mirror. The whole cabinet has been repainted inside and out and I have destressed its surface to make it look old and shabby(it already was) I have added 2 Large"D" hooks for easy hanging Picture 9. This cabinet would look wonderful in any room hanging on the wall or sitting on a counter or table. But it looks like from the 1940's. It is painted red but we think it was blue originally as you can see some blue paint around the edges where the red paint has flaked off. The bottom is also blue. The drawers have surface rust on the inside as you can see in the pictures. It is a unique cabinet in that have two large drawers on the bottom and a smaller cabinet on top. It's all connected and one piece! Pretty cool! The bottom section is approximately 14.5" wide x 9" deep(larger) top section is 9.25" wide by 7.25" deep. The top bottom drawer does not open. There seems to be something on the inside that ... moreis sticking. On the back of this cabinet there is the original stenciling when it was blue- it says Red Cross plaster and Johnson and Johnson. The red paint appears to be old and covers it making it hard to see as you can see in the pictures above. The pull on the drawers are metal and there are a couple of them that are loose. This a cute. Vintage Farmhouse Hanging Wood Medicine Cabinet Towel Bar Mirror Cupboard
Here is an old vintage/ antique farmhouse medicine cabinet that is really in very vintage condition. The cabinet measures about 25 3/4" wide(at its widest. Along the bottom) and about 29 1/2" high including the towel bar along the bottom. Looks like this cabinet has been previously mounted in a couple of ways- there are some dangling wires still attached to the cabinet so perhaps it was hung by these, but I also can see holes in the back of the cabinet where it looks like it was mounted to a wall. However, because of the back design, this may have also been installed as a recessed cabinet at some point in time. Wood cabinet front is still in nice vintage shape and is painted a slightly off-white color and has three built in shelves. Mirror has black discoloration in multiple areas where the mirror background has deteriorated. The ... moreinside of the cabinet door looks to me to be a piece of corrugated cardboard, making me think this may have been a hand made cabinet, also because the towel bar appears to have been added to the bottom of the cabinet. I would think the mirror could be removed and replaced with a new mirror, or just taken out all together and replaced with a wood panel to turn this into a kitchen cabinet rather than a medicine cabinet. It has a great old look to it. The back is where this item really shows its age- looks like very old wood and shows some deterioration in the wood in multiple areas. The back portion of the cabinet, if using recessed, measures about 17" wide and 23 3/4" high. Looks like original hardware on the cabinet door, the knob actually pushes in to adjust the lever on the back of the door- however the door is'sticky' and while it opens and closes, it does not do so smoothly. This is an Antique Medicine Cabinet. It is an older piece that is made out of wood with its original distressed old paint. The paint is now worn. Crackly, and chippy which gives it such a nice shabby look. It has the original door with original key for locking and a glass knob for pulling it open. Inside there are several shelves that is great for storage. This large cabinet can be hung on the wall, but you will need to add hooks to the back, as the original owner did, they screwed it into the wall as you can see the holes on the inside. Also, on the inside door these is a little hook for hanging things. They added the newer ball feet later, which just slip in and out, they can be taken off easily, they are not glued in or you can leave them for a different look. This can sit on a counter or another piece of furniture. The facing part is 28" by about 19.5" and 1" thick. The recessed part is 24" by 10" with a 1" piece of wood on the sides. And 4" deep. The door is 23" by 9.5" and the window is 10.5" by 5.5" The interior is 22.5" by 9" and 4" deep. It is missing one of the wood shelves inside.

The old finish has just enough wear for a little antique patina. Waxed and buffed so all that is needed is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth. The key is a handle only. Bathroom, laundry room, bedroom, or any room you need some extra storage or a very cool display cupboard. This piece is made from solid wood. Except for back piece which is old particle board. It has 3 adjustable/ removable ... moreshelves– there are two clips on each side for the shelves, but they are painted on and will need some attention to remove them. The glass front door closes and latches in place with a slide push chrome latch. The cabinet weighs 19lbs before packaging. It has old paint on the outside and inside. But not on the back of the particle board. The old paint is faded, chipped, stained, etc. I did spray and wipe the whole cabinet down with an all purpose cleaner and cloth. There was some old contact paper on the shelves that I removed, and there a small bit of residue left behind from it. There was also an old white curtain attached with the old thumbtacks to the inside of the door that I removed– it was old, stained, and torn apart. It is ready to be finished or refinished however you like. There are two old hanging brackets still attached to the top– probably not very stable, and there are a handful of old nail holes in the back board. There is a small piece of wood missing from the bottom left corner– it can be filled with wood putty and painted over easily enough.
