It is 48 1/2inches tall. 25 inches deep and 17inches wide.The cabinet is in fair condition, it has 3 chunks of wood out of 3 of the 4 rear back corners. Also the bottom drawer where it folds out the would is broke see pics. Then there have been holes drilled through the sides about 1/2inch 2 on each side. Antique Vintage Library Bureau Sole Makers 4-Drawer Wood Oak File Cabinet
For auction is one beautiful vintage 4-drawer quarter-sawn oak file cabinet from the early 1900s. It is in fantastic original condition. The finish is original and has only minor nicks and scratches. The brass hardware retains its original patina. And all hardware is accounted for. Each drawer has a dark green metal adjustable divider inside, and the top drawer has the original LBSM patent decal inside the drawer face. All metal glides operate smoothly. The finish is slightly lighter inside the label holders. There is also a slightly darker area on the top towards the front left of the cabinet(see photo) There is only one side panel. But it is reversible, so assuming the file cabinet is placed with one side against a wall, you can use the side panel on whichever side faces the room. These cabinets were made to screw together in rows, so you ... morecan also attach it to an existing LBSM file cabinet of the same size and vintage. There is a date stamp on the inside(JUN 15 1922) which I assume is the date of manufacture. There is also an inventory number(25U59) punched into the wood on the upper left hand corner on the front of the frame. Wood Library 3x5" Index Card 4 Drawer File Cabinet
Offered as a'buy it now is this 4 drawer 3" x 5" file cabinet manufactured by Shaw Walker. The overall dimensions are 14" wide x 15" deep x 9-1/2" height. There is a crack on one side which is the result of a slight warp in a panel. It has been refinished and the color is very close to original. The japonned hardware is original. The bottom left hand drawer face has been repaired also. All of the interior hardware works as it should. The felt pads cover what was hardware for some sort of interior block or divider. This was the property of the Commonwealth of Virginia as evidenced by the two property decals. The condition is very good to excellent.original finish. 1940s Vintage "Weis" Wood Library Index Card Catalog Industrial Cabinet File
This antique"Weis" index card catalog file cabinet measures 19-1/4 inches wide. 15" deep, and 14-1/2" tall. Modular construction, it has a top half and a bottom half, with two drawers per section. The drawer fronts are made of wood, not oak, fine grain hardwood such as ash or maybe poplar, and is painted olive drab green. The sides and back are made of a thin sheet material, perhaps plywood or masonite. Please note the original Weis decal located on the top of the cabinet. The drawer pulls are made of metal, probably steel, but I didn't check. This type of cabinet is great for index card storage, of course, but I have others like it that make great'small parts storage' for my workshop. Back has plywood veneer that is a little chippy, excellent condition overall with age related patina and fading to stain otherwise looks very nice. It is an old file drawer with a wonderful patina. I believe it is tiger oak. My pictures kind of magnified some dark spots. They really do not look like that in person. I think it is a reflection of the stain on the piece. Lovely patina with metal label pull holder on the front. Clean, clean clean on the inside. this piece measures 15" long by 7 7/8" wide by 5 1/2" tall. There are a few little darker stain marks, possibly this was refinished at one time? Awesome 6 drawer card file. Made by Weis label still on the top. Frame is wood. Could use cleaning and a little stain, I will leave that to you. Drawers are pressboard, with fancy pulls. The veneer is pretty much missing from the back There are areas that look like they’ve been hit with spray paint There are inked and pressed-in markings on the top front. Pressed in stamp“U.S.V.A. Solid oak lumber used for framework. Oak veneered lumber used for panels, top, drawer fronts, etc. There is some moisture damage visible on the rear bottom. Up for auction to U.S. customers only is a very nice 2 drawer Macey library file. The oak cabinet has dovetailed corners. The drawers are designed to hold 3 x 5 inch cards(but obviously could hold a lot of other small items) and are 14 inches deep. The cabinet has a few small wood chips(pictured) but otherwise is in very good condition. A great piece and would fit in great with vintage or industrial decorating. Antique Mahogany Wood Sheet Music Cabinet claw foot Flat File storage
Gorgeous vintage mahogany wood 1940s Sheet Music Cabinet with curved door. We use it as a wine cabinet but can be used for anything. Biggest problem with this is the top- which is buckled and cracked- veneer peeling off- but it looks perfectly ok with something covering it. Also the back- the wood paneling is separating(see pictures) but that's also not visible when cabinet is against a wall. Some nicks and scratches on the sides. 37" tall. Top is 20" x 15"
