It has 12 drawers that are two different sized drawers and they are made of porcelain with lovely detail and colors on the front. It was imported from Hungary. The cabinet is made from wood that's been painted white and nicely holds the porcelain drawers. The little drawers are white porcelain and have a blue detailing on some and gold detailing on others. The lettering on all of the drawers are black or dark grey. Each drawer has the name of a spice written on it in either Hungarian or German. We're not sure. You can read all of them very clearly. The"Kava" drawer is cracked in the upper right corner and the chipped in the lower left corner. Rare Antique Metal& Glass Apothecary Medical Pharmacy- Vintage Industrial Cabinet. This is the coolest medical cabinet. I have not seen anything like this one on EBay since I have been looking in this catagory. I remember seeing this cabinet when I was a kid in Dr Mc Danials office in 1962 with all the bottles and jars so clean and orderly. This medical cabinet came from a closed doctors office in eastern Nebraska. It appears to be the original paint with the original beveled glass on the sides. The combination of metal and glass makes this medical cabinet very heavy. I had a locksmith make a couple of keys for the lock. He is good at what he does. The lock mechanism moves smoothly.The latches that the key would turn to unlock and lock the unit where removed and could not be found. Antique Desk, Curio, Apothecary Cabinet
One of the most unique antiques I have ever seen certainly a showstopper. Mahogany wood not veneer-age around 1875-1900. Hudge piece measures 74" tall that does not include the crest add another 15" at tallest point to the 74" I was told that the previous owner had paid 5.000 25 yrs ago at an antique shop in Va. I can believe that as this is such a unique piece. The width measures 44" while the depth measures 22" The two coffin style doors are an impressive 7" thick themselves. Original brass hardware, key, along with I believe they are brass knobs, no missing knobs. Raised panels on front and sides. Back is flat mahogany wood. Drop style handels similar to the eastlake era. Great patina. Dovetail drawers slide together cubby's and peg work. The right side door holds 32 cubbies measuring 6" deep x7" ... moretall x 4-3/4" wide. The left hand door holds a total of 52 cubby's, and one large area 18" x 10-1/2" x 6" deep. There are 23 drawers, a pull out writing tablet(which has a crack accross it) but does not affect it's strength or useability and five large compartments.The drawers along with the placement of the drawers are numbered in the wood example 1-2-17-19 and so on. The crest has a ship's anchor for detail. If you live close and want to view before bidding please email me. This is a great old Apothecary cabinet with the original porcelain. Hand painted pulls- the pulls alone sell for between $15-$20 each. There are 32 drawers all with a porcelain pull. The cabinet is 102" x 18" x 36" H. It has a replaced top- very nice- as you can see in the pic and has had some restoration- it is in great condition. Antique VTG Wood Spice Cabinet-Apothecary/Storage Cabinet-Original Finish
For sale is an antique vintage cabinet which I think was used for spices or as a desk set. It has 4 drawers which each have a small porcelain pull and two compartments. On the base there is a flip door for storing larger items.There is a very old hanger for attaching to the wall but could also be set on a cabinet. The size is larger at 19" tall by 8" deep and 11" wide. There are some chips(see pictures) but these only add to the look. Some of the wood looks oak and some pine or a lighter wood. This is a VERY OLD Wooden Apothecary styled Cabinet that appears to be handmade. I have repainted it and distressed the whole body. The little drawers are painted inside with 2 coats of fresh paint. The top back offers a small Eastlake Pediment. There are 4 drawers and one(top right) does not open and cant be used. I was unable to save it. Each side of the drawers has a shelf space to display your pretty things. The front of each drawer have a wood pull knob and 2 carved out lines running across for added design. The back has 2"D" hooks for easy hanging. Antique metal steel medical apothecary cabinet. With mirror and Cabriole legs, glass top and two glass shelves. Cabinet is sold as is, and with items found therein. Cabinet is structurally sound, there is paint chipping and patina throughout, and some rust as depicted in the pictures. Age and manufacturer unknown, estimated 1920's to 1930's. Price includes items found therein. Ranging from items of monetary value such as a few unopened Squibb Ether canisters and unused Premo 1cc insulin glass syringes with boxes, to oddities such as dental ligature wire from the 1940's and packages of colloidal oatmeal. Dimensions: The total dimensions are 38" length x 17 1/2" width x 47 1/4" height. These measurements include the 1/2 inch flair and wheel underpinnings on the cabriole legs. And the mirror. ANTIQUE APOTHECARY STEP BACK STORE CABINET FROM OLD DRUG STORE
This is a gorgeous mahogany cabinet from the old Davis Drug Store in Gallatin. Missouri. It measures 103" wide x 96" H. The top display is 12" deep with 3 adjustable wooden shelves, and wood-framed original glass sliding doors with brass hardware, which measure 49"w x 45" high each. The bottom half of the case measures 18" deep and has 2 sets of gliding wooden doors with brass hardware, with 1 adjustable shelf. This piece is in beautiful condition and I am assuming that it has been stored upstairs in the old store for a half a century. I actually have 2 cabinets that are almost identical, the other being a little shorter in length, about 100 1/2" and unfinished on one side as it was connected to other cabinets. They were used in the old drug store in the late 1800's early 1900's. This store, founded ... morein 1855 and built in 1878, was used as a drug store, soda fountain, and general store in its early days and these pieces are in wonderful condition. For sale is this antique apothecary seed counter from an old general store store. The counter is in good used condition with lots of patina. As you can see from the pictures. The drawered unit easily lifts out of the glass showcase. The counter measures 95 1/2" long x 24 1/2" wide x 40" tall. There are 55 drawers that are graduated in size from the top down. All of the drawers are in good condition and open with ease with the exception of one drawer which is missing the front panel. The only other issue is a slight crack in the glass which is pictured. Vintage Industrial Antique Apothecary Hardware Store 8 Drawer Seed Cabinet WOW
For sale is this antique apothecary cabinet from an old hardware store. The cabinet is in good used condition with lots of patina. It is made entirely of wood and measures 28 1/2" long x 10" wide to the knobs x 10" tall. It has eight drawers some have dividers and some do not they are also removable. All original knobs. The back looks like it was replaced as it is a little different wood and color not a big deal you never see it when you display it. I think they put it on when they removed it these were usually built into a wall without a back. The bottom has some old white paint smeared super cool piece with a great look. But it looks like from the 1940's. It is painted red but we think it was blue originally as you can see some blue paint around the edges where the red paint has flaked off. The bottom is also blue. The drawers have surface rust on the inside as you can see in the pictures. It is a unique cabinet in that have two large drawers on the bottom and a smaller cabinet on top. It's all connected and one piece! Pretty cool! The bottom section is approximately 14.5" wide x 9" deep(larger) top section is 9.25" wide by 7.25" deep. The top bottom drawer does not open. There seems to be something on the inside that ... moreis sticking. On the back of this cabinet there is the original stenciling when it was blue- it says Red Cross plaster and Johnson and Johnson. It is a great size- not too small- not too large- measuring 37 1/4" high x 16 1/4" deep x 22" wide. Most child's cabinets are a lot smaller than this one. This would make a great cabinet for all those little things you want to put away. It's sturdy and clean throughout- no funny smells- but there is a crack on the top by the left hinge as shown in the pictures. Antique Apothecary Watchmaker Cabinet (Local Pick Up Available)
Up for bid is a primitive lookin antique cabinet. I was told by the woman I bought it off of that it was a watchmaker's cabinet that her grandfather owned making it at least 80 years old. Looks very similar to a lot of apothecary cabinets I have seen as well. Stands approximately 42 inches high. 26 inches wide, and 13 inches deep, and weighing 64 pounds. 12 small drawers with dividers, 5 larger drawers without dividers and one large cabinet with 3 shelves. It appears to be missing a single large door that would complete enclose the front of the cabinet. This is old and has many scuffs and scratches. All the nobs on the drawer are present and the overall integrity is great. No large cracks but it seems small repairs have been made over time like small nails in places. Also in the top cabinet you can see there is an old lock inside the drawer and then outside you can see where the key would have gone- it has been painted over. We do not have the key. The three bottom drawers measure 9 1/2" deep x 16 3/4" wide x 1 1/2" high. Total cabinet measures 19 3/4" wide x 11" deep(not counting the knobs) x 12 1/4" high. It weighs 14 lbs. On the front of the bottom drawer there are two holes- they do go through to the other side. I'm not sure what this was for- ... moremost likely a name plate of some sort or maybe an old handle. In all three of the drawers inside- in the back of the drawer there are holes that go all the way through. The hole is also inside the top drawer under the lid. This was likely to lock the drawers. The person would have a rod(not included) that would slide down from the top and lock each drawer in place. Then. By locking the lid with the key(not included) the entire cabinet could be locked up safe! It may have been for a shop owner or perhaps for someone who kept valuables in their home and didn't want any sticky fingers walking off with their goods! Once the cabinet was all locked up, it was easy to carry without losing the drawers by grabbing ahold of the nice brass handles on each side. This is a great size cabinet that could be used for many things! There are some paint spills on a couple of places. Chips, scratches, and holes but it does not take away from the beauty of this cabinet. Great for many uses! The red paint appears to be old but don't think it is original to the piece. Great piece! Antique wood apothecary cabinet with black knobs, large size, lovely detail
I purchased this from an antique store in Manhattan many years ago. I am moving and this is another piece that just doesn't fit in my new place. It has four working drawers. One of which has a lock but I do not have the key. It is a significant piece. As it weighs about 50lbs, and measures 30.25" wide x 22" depth x 11" high. It can be used as a piece of furniture, or as a jewelry box, or as cabinet/drawers for the kitchen. It can be put on top of a table or desk. The two top drawers have been divided with panels. The wood has lovely carving and was well made. It is in great condition. Large Antique 60 Drawer Apothecary Flat File Cabinet
I believe this is a 19th century piece. I got it from a locksmith that used it as a parts cabinet in his shop. He told me that he acquired it in the 1950's at the closing of a drug store in Chicago that had been open since before the turn of the century. The locksmith modified the open back file trays by adding a back and turning them into'drawers' he also painted the face brown and the sides blue. Drawer backs can easily be removed and is an excellent piece for restoration. Unfortunately there is one drawer missing. You don't find these every day. Local pick up only. Large. Solid wood, and heavy. Located in 55116. Cabinet measures 56" wide x 69" tall x 21" deep. Drawers measure 12 3/4" wide x 3 1/2" high.

On the bottom of the cabinet it is dated 1892! It also says Jan(January) June- R. Start- Carpenter and M. Start- Printer. The cabinet was probably made in January 1892 and painted/printed on June 1892. How sweet that the owner's took the time to print this on the bottom so that it would be preserved for history! It has great dark brown/reddish patina and small(brad) finish nails. All of the drawers except one has the spice written on the outside. The cabinet is made from old crates(old dry wood) as you can see in the pictures- so cool! There are some cracks. Chips, on the back and front as you can see in the pictures. There is a slight smell in some of the drawers but this ... moreis possibly from the spices that were used. The knobs seem to be porcelain- but were not sure. The last drawer the back is broken and split at the bottom. You can see in pictures 3 and 5 the splits in the back and front of the cabinet- zoom in. You can also see in the picture where it is dated that the splits go to the bottom of the cabinet- still it is sturdy. There is scratch marks. Medical cabinet as seen in"Forrest Gump" A cabinet just like this one(green in color) is part of the set in the scene when"young Forrest" is being fitted for his"magic legs" braces) There are two green cabinet behind the doctor. One of them is the same model as the one I'm selling. Pretty interesting! This is the second relist. I hope it sells but after this try I am getting shelves and it will become a display at my shop. Good luck! This one is in good shape. It has a dull off-white finish which may be original(not 100% sure but the paint is very old) It still has the original hinges and latches. The door closes properly and is not warped. There is no key and the push button latch works but is missing the top rivet. There are scratches from use and the paint is worn.as it should be. The glass sides and front ... moreare good but there are no shelves. The shelf pins(brackets) are present. They are built in. The shelves would be spaced about 6.5" apart. The casters look to be original. One of the casters does come out when you lift the cabinet but it does roll. There are no modifications to this unit. No cracks or holes. There was a light in the top that was affixed using two-sided tape. I took that out. I don't know the country of origin. Local pick up only please. I will deliver it within 80 miles of San Antonio. Antique Wooden Apothecary Medicine Shaving Mirrored Cabinet - Glass Knobs
This is an older apothecary/medicine cabinet with a couple of shelves inside(possibly for shaving mugs) The wooden cabinet is made of solid wood and having an older white painted surface. The mirror is still nice on the front and the cabinet has a glass knob for opening the cabinet. There is an Art Deco painted design seen at the top of the cabinet's crest. This older cabinet easily dates to the 1920's-1930's time period. It has a wonderful drawer found at the bottom with the original glass knob. The cabinet measures 24 1/2" in height. 14" wide, and 6" deep. The inside shows a piece of wood attached to the back as this was for mounting to the wall. This is easily removed from the cabinet.
