Here is a metal medicine cabi net that was removed from a 1920's bathroom. It looks to have been painted at some point over the years. With some of it peeling/flaking in spots(see pics) The door sticks a little bit at one corner. Though this should be adjustable since the hi n ges are removeable(see pics) This is marked as being manufactured by'The Miami Cycle& Mfg. Co. of Middletown. Ohio. This is a nice and substantial piece. The mirror is beveled. And there are a few spots of miss ing plating as well as some streaking at the bottom(see pics) There is one spot where the cabinet is slightly dented(see pic 10) Though you can't tell by looking at it from the inside. There is a bit of light rust here and there. But no major corrosion. The knob on the door is porcelain. Antique/Vintage Dark Green Metal Medicine Chest / Cabinet w/ Mirror
Available for purchase is an antique/vintage. Dark green medicine chest with mirror and crystal/glass knob. The actual frame of the chest seems to be in good condition, although the interior has been painted at some point and is flaking badly. The outside, dark green paint is patchy in the best sort of way, but could also be refinished. The mirror has some patina to it but is still clear enough to be useful. The inside has nice shelf supports, although the glass shelves would need replaced as none have survived. The overall measurements are 21 1/4 inches wide x 25 inches tall x 6 inches deep. The wall insert portion is 17 1/2 inches wide x 21 1/2 inches tall x 5 inches deep. This vintage metal medicine cabinet has a full-front mirror that has an etched design coinciding with the arched top. The metal back measures 18" x 13 3/4" and it's 4" deep. It has two holes for hanging but I'm sure it can also be set into the wall so the mirror lies flat against the wall. The bottom shelf has 8 1/4" of height. With two shelves above. The mirror measures 19 3/4" high and 14" wide. The overall depth including the mirror is 4 1/2" The cabinet and mirror are in excellent condition. Vintage French industrial retro metal mirrored medicine bathroom cabinet loft
Description For auction is a wonderful vintage 1950's French stripped metal medicine/ bathroom cabinet. Made from pressed steel with a central mirrored panel it is in excellent vintage condition with some evidence of wear. Structurally sound. The mirror has evidence of slight foxing, but this does not detract from the great looks of this cabinet. If prefered the mirror can be removed and replaced with clear or frosted glass to achieve a different look, I have included a photo with the mirror removed to give an idea of how it would look with clear glass fitted. The cabinet has a round polished door knob and the door is trimmed. Around the outer edge and around the mirror with a mint green plastic strip. vintage antique white metal 1940-50's lighted medicine cabinet with mirror
From my(mom's! home. late 40's or 50's when they'remodeled' their bathroom. This unique old white metal medicine cabinet has a double light socket that shines through a plastic cover. Mirror has chrome trim around the edges and is in excellent condition. It is a very sturdy and well-made cabinet. with a few small signs of'rust' on the shelves. Also. There is a broken spot on the top bracket- I've tried to show the'good' side& bad side in 6th& 7th photos. I'm sure someone handy could fix it with no problem. It measure 16" wide by 20-3/4" high. The shelf section is 6-7/8" deep(including the mirror) and 7-5/8" deep in the top section where the light is. I'll be glad to provide photos of anything I've missed. Thanks for looking.

But it looks like from the 1940's. It is painted red but we think it was blue originally as you can see some blue paint around the edges where the red paint has flaked off. The bottom is also blue. The drawers have surface rust on the inside as you can see in the pictures. It is a unique cabinet in that have two large drawers on the bottom and a smaller cabinet on top. It's all connected and one piece! Pretty cool! The bottom section is approximately 14.5" wide x 9" deep(larger) top section is 9.25" wide by 7.25" deep. The top bottom drawer does not open. There seems to be something on the inside that ... moreis sticking. On the back of this cabinet there is the original stenciling when it was blue- it says Red Cross plaster and Johnson and Johnson. The red paint appears to be old and covers it making it hard to see as you can see in the pictures above. The pull on the drawers are metal and there are a couple of them that are loose. This a cute. This high quality. Vintage hotel metal medicine cabinet has a top shelf with hook ends that extend out over the sides for towels and such. There are chrome plated sconces for standard bulbs and a receptacle and hook on right. There's a razor blade disposal slot on back, inside. There's an attached bottle opener with a cork screw. Glass shelves are included along with a milk glass shelf on the bottom. The mirror appears to be in excellent condition and only needs a good cleaning. Make me an offer! This is a beautiful. Rare piece of american medical history. Manufactured by American Metal Furniture. Inc out of Indianapolis, Indiana. This cabinet is most likely from the 1940's- 50's. Original production date is unknown. This has been in the family for awhile. It is from a Dr's office where my mother-in-law used to work in Columbus. Nebraska. It measures about 30" wide x 16" deep x 32" tall. The bottom cabinet doors each measure 16" tall x 13.5" wide. The large drawer is 27.5" wide x 3 5/8" tall. The two smaller drawers on the top are 13.5" wide x 3 5/8" tall. The cabinet features a black glass top that is removable and a railing around 3 sides to keep jars from sliding off. The cabinet was made for mixing and storing the liquids and ointments used in treatments ... moreduring the 40's and 50's. The glass has some scratches on top. A chip on one corner(see photos) and some other minor chips on other corners that are not very noticeable. There are no dents that I was able to see. There are some rust spots and some paint flaking(see photos) Comes with all original handles. One is broken in half and one is no longer on the piece. Although both do come with the cabinet. Here we have a vintage metal medicine cabinet made by the Lawson Company. It features 2 glass shelves that have a few tiny chips in them but nothing major at all. The shelves are both adjustable. It even has the slot in the back when people would discard their old razor blades down into the wall of the house. It shows a tiny bit of rust on the inside bottom of the cabinet. The mirror has a chrome trim going around the edge. The glass on the mirror is very clear with no major flaws that I can see. Vintage metal medicine cabinet maybe from the 30's or 40's Art Deco style
Up for auction is this amazingly old metal cabinet. found it in a barn buried about a foot deep in dry dirt dust. couldn't believe it when I pulled it out of the ground it wasn't rusted on the bottom.has some surface rust and that's it. the paint peeled off by itself setting there for many years. decided to sell it for the right price even though I really like it. has a little spring latch that works great. Easy to open and close. well made, very old very cool. cant find another one. let me know if you have any questions
