I suspect, they could be unscrewed, wet, flattened gradually, maybe some surface molding applied, then a new paint treatment, and this would be an AMAZING cabinet. I could do this for you, for a price, but for most folks, the cabinet with flaws and no alterations is more desirable. It's a personal preference. I ship by FedEx and the post office. Has been refinished in a golden oak stain with a laqured to coat.It is in excellent condition with no broken or repaired wood. Has a wonderfull grain to the oak. Wavy glass in the top doors. Back appears to be orginial. Top section has 3 shelfs counting bottom, and the bottom section has 2 shelfs counting the bottom. The bottom door wood inserts have a bevel around them. Shelf boards and hinges are the orginial. The drawer handles and the bottom catch may be replacements but match cabinet well. I believe the top section catch is orginial. Measurements are: width 40, height 73, depth 18 inches. THE ITEMS IN CABINET ARE NOT INCLUDED.

Antique wainscoat step back cupboard. Has two lower wood doors and two upper doors with glass- glass is broken on one door. They are not painted the blue but can be refinished to match and are original to the cupboard. I used this for display in a retail store so did not use them but saved them and put them aside for a future owner. Cupboard originally was one piece but someone along the way cut it in half. The photo shows the cut- it is pretty straight and I have used two straight brackets on back to hold in place. Measures about 83 inches tall by 43 inches wide by about 17 inches deep. The glass doors enclose the top three shelves which would leave an open shelf(the one right above the wood doors) The openings of the shelves are about 34 inches wide and there is about 11-1/2 inches of space between each shelf. Primitive Painted Ohio Stepback Cupboard "1900's"
For your consideration is an early Ohio primitive painted stepback cupboard that was found in an old farmhouse along with the light blue cupboard in the picture. This cupboard is unique in that it has a wonderful arch on the upper section that matches a similar arch near the bottom of the lower section. I believe it has it's original brown paint.Hardware and wavy glass. I would date it to the early 1900's and it measures approx 46 in wide by 90 in tall. It is not heavy but very sturdy and could be pine or ash(not sure) There is one small trim piece on the right hand side near the top missing and small wood loss near bottom right corner but does not detract from it's beauty.This cupboard is exceptionally nice and getting harder to find in this original condition! This would make a great cabinet for all those little things you want to put away. I suspect, they could be unscrewed, wet, flattened gradually, maybe some surface molding applied, then a new paint treatment, and this would be an AMAZING cabinet. It is entirely of pine construction with the exception of the drawer bottoms which are masonite. Slotted screws and wire nails were used in construction. The doors are attached with their original iron hinges and it retains its original wooden door latches. It has recently been painted white with the counter surface left natural. For your consideration. I have an Old Turn of the century Stepback Cupboard or Dutch Cupboard. The top part sits on the lower base section much like the Hoosier Cabinets. The cast iron hinges on the doors are all from 1800's but I think the cabinet is circa 1900? There is wear to the molding at the bottom of the door on the base section. I think the small middle drawer has a replaced front. All the drawers are dovetailed except that small middle drawer between the two pull out bread boards. The cupboard measures 71 1/2" Tall and 45 1/2" across the Front, and 23" Deep. This item is for pick up only. Please check my other auctions this week. This is a beautiful primitive country cabinet. With a great Americana presence. I think these may have been in an old farmhouse kitchen, as a base and an upper cabinet. I believe the top is original has been stripped. It has a great patina it has an old green paint under the newer light cream color. I purchased this cupboard at an estate auction. It has two doors and shelves on the top a drawer in the center and two doors and shelves at the bottom. The doors latch and the drawer slides in and out nicely. The top doors are not glass. I am guessing they may have got broken and been replaced. There is a total of 16 mini saucers/plates different sizes. 8 tea cups, most of them match a saucer but a couple. The tiniest teacup has a parrot or bird for the handle. 2 mini green glass vases/urns. 2 mini ducks, mini porcelain picture frame, 2 mini toothpick holders? I believe a mini brass bell with enameled type leaves and flower, mini ceramic vase with raised pink ... moreflowers and ceramic flowers in the vase. All are just adorable. Few of the saucers and cups are marked Japan, 1 marked Napco& Noritake. Measures approx. 29-1/2" tall x 17" wide x 9" deep The cupboard is in good vintage condition with some normal wear and or scratches due to age. Use and storage. It appears that a corner piece of the wood on the center shelf just above the drawer either has a crack or broke off and possibly glued or something back on. Not real noticeable just wanted to point that out. There may be a small chip or nick on a couple of the saucers. You will receive everything you see in the pictures. Keystone cut on both the fronts of the base and top( Note: picture#11) the shelves are 16" deep on the top and it has 19" shelves on the base- it might need to be shaved on the bottom- it rocks a little if you know what I mean or you- not much of a problem o.k. The item is stamped" Lennox Craftsmen" The maker used square nails and distressed the wood to create this original and unique piece of furniture. This two piece hutch has a finish of blue distressed paint and medium brown knotty pine. I do believe the paint is not original but adds character and charm to the item. There are three shelves on the top section as well as six drawers and two cabinets in the bottom section for storage. The porcelain knobs with painted flowers are included and are vintage but not original to the item. The total dimensions are approximately 53" wide x 79" high x 18" deep.
