Wood Modern Library Index Card Catalog Mid Century File Cabinet COFFEE TABLE
You get a coffee table AND the mother of all storage cabinets! BEAUTIFUL PIECE made by GAYLORD BROS. INC as a library card catalog. Blond wood. Most likely maple, but not positive. All 12 drawers are dovetailed and glide smoothly. They all have thick, brass finger pulls with label holders. Heavy, solid construction(weighing 45LBS) with a very nice patina. It measures approx. 20 1/8 inches wide, 18 inches deep, and 17 1/8 inches tall. Inside of drawer measures 14 11/16 inches long, 5 3/16 wide, and 3 1/2 tall. Vintage filing, library index card file box, 6 drawers, metal & wood
Heavy old filing cabinet. 25" deep. 10x12 on the face. Each metal drawer is decorated with some deco-looking squiggles in shiny copper. Although the drawers are metal. The cabinet itself appears to be wood. There is a laminate on the top which has been worn away on places on the edge. See the last picture. I am not a store. Up for auction is this great Yawman& Erbe index card holder. As you can see from the pictures the piece could use a little love but it is extremely solid- the drawers open and shut as designed and the tab to support the index cards will move back and forth as supposed to. Aside from the small area on the back of the piece where a piece of the wood chipped off. All of the original wood is in nice condition. Very nice quality dovetailing on the top and bottom of the piece as well as on the front and back of each drawer. The overall dimension of the piece are 15" wide x 17' deep x 6" tall. ANTIQUE vintage Weis index. FINGER JOINT WOOD LIBRARY POST FILE CARD CATALOG BOX
Item is in fair condition with minor surface scratches. Finger joint construction. Back finger joint had lid bracket pulled out and is reflected in picture. Lid has a split next to finger joint damage. Look at picture. Their is damage to it. I had this in my vintage office for display and worked very well as the damage is hidden. Someone put a nail for a hinge pin as noted in picture. Still retains the nice Weis logo. 13 inches long by 5 3/4 inches wide by 4 3/8 inches in height. Looks to be missing the idex card slide thingy. The inside cover or lid bracket is not attached. I think this is pine Ask Questions BEFORE BIDDING. Vintage Wooden Card Catalog-2 Drawer Wood Library Index File-Dovetail Drawers
Up for auction is an excellent vintage wooden two drawer card catalog. This piece measures 16 1/2 x 15 7/8 x 6 5/8" and features two drawers with dovetail detail. This is a vintage piece. So it does show sign of past use, including scratches, scrapes, and dings on the surfaces. At some point, it looks as though the original drawer pulls were replaced with metal knobs, which you can see in the photographs. The drawers still have the metal card catalog framework inside, and I can move the framework back and forth from the bottom. I have not cleaned or polished this piece, but I would imagine that it would look even better with a little care. Please view the photos carefully, as they best describe the condition of the item being sold.

Vintage Industrial Wood Card Catalog Four Drawer Library Index Card Organizer
Measures 13x13 1/2 x 9 inches. It could use some attention like a refinish. I will leave that up to the new owner. It does not have a maker but does have four capital letters on the left upper corner(FBVE) which I believe it stands for Federal Board Of Vocational Education. And to the right the numbers 2- 1006. It is made of wood and appears to have some light water damage on the bottom. All four drawers open and close without a problem. It also appears to have all its original hardware. Wood Library 3x5" Index Card 4 Drawer File Cabinet
Offered as a'buy it now is this 4 drawer 3" x 5" file cabinet manufactured by Shaw Walker. The overall dimensions are 14" wide x 15" deep x 9-1/2" height. There is a crack on one side which is the result of a slight warp in a panel. It has been refinished and the color is very close to original. The japonned hardware is original. The bottom left hand drawer face has been repaired also. All of the interior hardware works as it should. The felt pads cover what was hardware for some sort of interior block or divider. Vintage Arts and Crafts Era.Mission style oak card or index file cabinet. This is the large 5" by 8" card file. The total measurement of the cabinet are 20-3/4" wide. 14-1/2" high by 18" deep. This was the property of the Commonwealth of Virginia as evidenced by the two property decals. The condition is very good to excellent.original finish. The case is very nice with some minor wear and a couple of very minor cigarette burns to the top. The drawers are very nice and function well. The brass pulls and holders are also nice. 1940s Vintage "Weis" Wood Library Index Card Catalog Industrial Cabinet File
This antique"Weis" index card catalog file cabinet measures 19-1/4 inches wide. 15" deep, and 14-1/2" tall. Modular construction, it has a top half and a bottom half, with two drawers per section. The drawer fronts are made of wood, not oak, fine grain hardwood such as ash or maybe poplar, and is painted olive drab green. The sides and back are made of a thin sheet material, perhaps plywood or masonite. Please note the original Weis decal located on the top of the cabinet. The drawer pulls are made of metal, probably steel, but I didn't check. This type of cabinet is great for index card storage, of course, but I have others like it that make great'small parts storage' for my workshop. Vintage Mid-Century Oak Wood 6-Drawer Library Index Card Catalog Office File
Vintage Card Catalog This is vintage 6-drawer card catalog. It is composed of oak wood with a medium-tone finish. The bottom of the catalog is made of pressed board. The catalog was made to hold standard 3" by 5" index cards with holes in them. A rod inserts through the hole in the cards to hold them in place. The rods are released when a small amount of pressure is applied to the bottom of the knob as it is pulled outward. Each drawer is approximately 1/4 full of blank index cards. The drawers stick out from the body of the cabinet approximately 1/8" On the face of each drawer is a brass handle with a window for inserting a drawer label.
